  I tried to look around in this forum and elsewhere to solve my problem. I have met help desk 'Loner' of T and hope he can ring for my case. Here is the result of the following commands in a Terminal:

  Due to the time constraint, I went ahead and had a run of luck the orders gdisk on mine. My Bootcamp partition is disk0s4. I get the following error:

• DeskJet 880C work around Windows 7 Driver?

  I have been informed by the HP deskjet support that HP does not provide for the supply of a windows driver for the 880c 7.  Number 1 can be changed - it is such a waste of resources?  Number 2, does anyone know of a 3rd driver or a work around solution.

  Let's do it in two parts: first go in the devices folder and printers, add printer, a Local LPT1 port: when the list check for HP Deskjet 882c.  If the Deskjet 882c printer isn't in the list, and then click Windows Update.  After a few minutes, the list will be repopulated and the Deskjet 882 should now be available.

• Black border around window

  I do not know what I changed, but now I have a black border of 1 "around my screen.  Ground of the screen is set to 1920 x 1080, which is the native resolution of the display.  I can't find a sizing option from the menu of the monitor or in the options ATI Catalyst.  If I lower the ground to something lower, say, 1280 x 1000 screen is filled.  But I shouldn't do that.  Any help will be appreciated.

  I think you're right on my installation of Windows 7.  I had several problems cultures towards the top has so did a reinstall on top of the original.  Problem solved!  Thank you.

• How to get around Windows 7 SP1 requirement?

  I have a laptop DELL D630 old provided with Windows XP.

  I did the basic modernization of a few years ago (more large, RAM disk), and it is now running Windows 7 x 64.

  Everything on the laptop is very good for my development needs. It is fast enough, never has a problem and is connected to my docking station works well on my two monitors.

  I tried to install the Service Pack of Windows 7 a few times; However, installation fails because it cannot find compatible display and audio drivers. I already have the latest for both my old Intel onboard graphics and my audio is not DirectX 9 compatible.

  I need my screen and my audio, so I have not installed Service Pack 1.

  Now, I find that a lot of software out there will not install on my PC just because I'm still Win7 instead of Win7.1 (Paint.Net, Visual Studio 2013).

  So, what exactly is Windows 7 with Service Pack 1?

  Ok. I do not allow any Windows updates on my PC and my laptop doesn't have HDMI. Therefore, these features do not seem an advantage to break on my PC.

  Essentially, it seems that there is nothing in Windows 7 preventing another installation physically new software that there are some entries in my Windows operating system that signals that is not quite new.

  Is there a way to change PC settings so that the installation of the software think that my PC has this service pack?

  So I ended doing some research on the Dell Web site.

  There, I had the model and version of the Intel integrated audio/video, then found an upgrade than on the Intel Web site, which was released this past August (was unavailable the first time I tried to upgrade to Windows 7 SP1).

  Then I upgraded the Dell BIOS to a version that was released in 2013. Before, I was recommended only to upgrade the BIOS in the reinstallation of the operating system, so I have not elected to do this. This time, it worked or I would like to reinstall Windows.

  After the reboot, I used Windows Update to select SP1 installed and rebooted.

  I came again with other than SP1.

  I used Windows Update again, even once selected and installed the Win 7 SP1. Yet once restarted.

  Second time's a charm. The second installation worked.

• Remove components, Windows and the command start location

  I am wanting to do an interactive application which is fullscreen on two monitors. I know that the normal procedure of full screen call will defult the full screen for only the primary monitor. I was wondering if there was a way around it. Like, if I removed the edges of windows and the flash toolbar of the application, set the location of the initial window to start at (0,0) and then set the size of the stage in the resolution of the horizontal resolution compined two monitors. Is this possible and if so what the things (terms, methods) I again to start watching.

• Can not see clearly the content of the area from the top of the window of Firefox (Mac) because of the colorful background. How to make it solid (gray, for example)

  On my desktop Mac, the edges of window and the border are gray. On my laptop, there is a background sky blue - as in the top of the window of Firefox and a translucent version of the same through the bar where web addresses are registered and the search criteria. I have a very hard time to see the superior information because of this. I want a background gray (or white) standard. I can't find any Mac preferences or preferences of Firefox that address this issue.

  You may have installed a light theme (Persona).
  You can uninstall this theme and go back to the default theme (Tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

• Automatic image resizing - small for the size of the window

  When you view a stand-alone image too large to fit in the window, Firefox it is automatically resized.

  That is fine, but I'm on small images most of the time. Have to zoom in manually the image each time to get around window size is very tedious, and I would avoid the rigmarole.

  Expansion Image Autosizer for Opera has the function I'm looking for, but I couldn't find an equivalent for Firefox.

  I wrote a user script (for use with Scriptish).

  • It automatically zooms in small images.
  • Left click the image, it returns to its original size.
  • Left click again of will zoom in again (useful for example if you maximize the window to get a better view, after the image has already been automatically zoomed in).
  • By default, this script does not on URLs without an extension of image (like this comic) file. These URLS can be added manually in Scriptish preferences for the script.

  I guess since I have not received all the suggestions, I'll mark this as the solution.

• iPod nano doesn't sync computer in windows 10, all updates to iTunes available were carried out.

  Have done all updates for iTunes (latest version), reinstalled the drivers, etc.  Nano Gen 7 will not be synchronized in windows 10.  Must use windows 7 computer to synchronize with the Nano and then use iCloud for around windows 10.  When I try to update the Apple drivers, windows 10 says I have the latest drivers installed and will not do anything else.

  Is the mark with 10 Windows or Apple?  Whatever it is, is there a cure for this problem?

  The iPod appears in iTunes, but does not synchronize?  Or is the problem that you are unable to synchronize because the iPod does not appear in iTunes?

  G Force (Geforce) 5200 is a video card and you can set the drivers from www.nvidia.com

  Internet Explorer 8 will be to see the place as an important security update.  If you have XP with SP3 installed, you should consider really install.

  I have completed the tasks you recommended.

  1. I saved the slide show in the slideshow-1024x768WMV9
  2. I then did a test.  I took various slideshows of my Photostory and emailed
  the collection file to start a new project with the Window Movie Maker.
  3. I dragged four projects on the table of video storyboard and proceeded to add a few
  transition/video effects.  I then I proceeded to save the Window Movie Maker project.
  4. I did - video file File/Save / my computer / gave the title of the project / other settings / high quality
  video (NTSC) / next / finish - to view the project.
  5. the project then played on Windows media Player.

  I must say, I was very impressed by the results.  There is no jerky, nervous or hesitant movements with the projects of Photojournalism when transferred to WMM.  Pans and zooms of the Photostory remain smooth and fluid.   Also, when I've embedded the video transitions and effects of the WMM on photojournalism projects featured on the storyboard WMM table the results were pretty good.  Video transitions and effects were perfect.  The commitment / transitions were flawless.

  I have a Wondows 8.1 and a printer portable all-in-one officejet 6310.  I have my printer installed and works fine on my laptop, but out of the blue one day that the printer will be offline and restarting the computer and printer does not correct.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the computer many times - this helps for about a week before it disconnects again.

  Now when I uninstall my laptop says there is no printer in range and lists no printer for me to install.  When I tried to manually in my printer - doesn't say that there is no such printer available.  Any suggestions?  Apparently this ONLY happens to me on my computer and not someone else in the home on their laptops - we have a total of 4 laptops in the House all on the same router and using the same printer.  Oh how I feel like a fool with windows 8.  Someone at - it helps or good suggestions for me? PLEASE? !!

  Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. I recently became very angry because my iPad was not charging, the end came unplugged from the wall charger! Laughing out loud

  This problem can be caused by outdated closed ware, contradictory I.P within the router, etc. I have worked on a Thread revolving around Windows 8.1 for awhile, check it out for some possible future troubleshooting operations.

  There are steps to add the printer a way, assign a static IP, check that some updates are installed by Microsoft, etc.

  I recently bought and installed windows 7 Home Edition premium, because microsoft does not support the windows xp more. Now all of my terrible looking graphics and I am unable to do my 'easy transfer' of my settings in my computer. It is said that there is not enough memory. Why would the transfer to proceed with the transfer if there is not enough room to put them on the same computer with the new windows operating system 7? Besides, why don't the Windows Upgrade Advisor warn me that my system would not support it. There was some software incompatibility issues but nothing that serious.  I would like to go back to windows xp or windows 7 starter edition would work? I have a 2 GB of ram with a 32-bit op system. I fell I just lost my money and even less hours spent working on it. I realize it's time to upgrade, but want even this computer works for children and the wife.

  Advise Windows isn't the end of everything, being together.  Common sense and human interaction and research is always the majority of computing in my humble opinion.  If a program can still tell you the answer - and in fact always reason - is it a good thing?  ;-)

  From my experience, we should always do their own research - investigating on their own.  Ask others who have more experience in everything that they might plan to do a few questions so they could avoid an error.  Yet, at this stage, human beings are still the best source for experience.

  Windows XP should work fine for that machine.  In fact - it was designed essentially around it (the machine has been designed around Windows XP--came with it). I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Windows 7 and in trouble, but I assure you - with the right material, that Windows 7 is the next Windows XP. :-)
