Photo Story 3 / manufacturer of window film

I really enjoy Windows Photo Story 3.  I started to turn around window Movie Maker.  In any case, I tried to encooperate my history projects 3 photo filled in window movie maker projects but I noticed that the images of photo story 3 was very nervous.  Is there anyway that Windows can merge the movements of the transitions of photo story 3 in movie maker window.  The effect would be great.

Hello John:

I have completed the tasks you recommended.

1. I saved the slide show in the slideshow-1024x768WMV9
2. I then did a test.  I took various slideshows of my Photostory and emailed
the collection file to start a new project with the Window Movie Maker.
3. I dragged four projects on the table of video storyboard and proceeded to add a few
transition/video effects.  I then I proceeded to save the Window Movie Maker project.
4. I did - video file File/Save / my computer / gave the title of the project / other settings / high quality
video (NTSC) / next / finish - to view the project.
5. the project then played on Windows media Player.

I must say, I was very impressed by the results.  There is no jerky, nervous or hesitant movements with the projects of Photojournalism when transferred to WMM.  Pans and zooms of the Photostory remain smooth and fluid.   Also, when I've embedded the video transitions and effects of the WMM on photojournalism projects featured on the storyboard WMM table the results were pretty good.  Video transitions and effects were perfect.  The commitment / transitions were flawless.

Thank you very much for your help and guidance in this regard.

  • Video made by the manufacturer of window film is so blurred in YouTube

I made a video using windows movie maker & converted and uploaded to YouTube, but the text is very vague and fuzzy. Not at all certain. I checked the size is 8 MB, I was told the resolution is lower by a friend. But I don't know how to do right and make the text clear. I tried searching in google and seem so confused and disappointed. Please, let me know as soon as possible. I'll be really happy. I use Windows Vista.

    Hello bandhan1983,

If you have imported the video, it may be that it was created at a resolution lower than the files from Movie Maker. Try to a higher resolution videos from your camera to see if it makes a difference.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can you make a portrait of movie style in photo story and Movie Maker

I have some pictures of portrait that I want to do a portrait slideshow / short film.  Is this possible in movie maker and photo story?  I have Windows 7 but Movie Maker 2.6

I have some pictures of portrait that I want to do a portrait slideshow / short film.  Is this possible in movie maker and photo story?  I have Windows 7 but Movie Maker 2.6

    ===========================================
Yes you can use photos in portrait for a slideshow in
Movie Maker or Photostory. When the slide show play... you will see
black borders on each side of the photos.

FWIW... PhotoStory offers the possibility to crop photos to fit the screen
If you don't like the black borders on each side of the photo portrait.
For Movie Maker, you'd have to crop photos in an image editor
    before you import.

  • I can't add music MP3 of photo story 3.

I downloaded music from Amazon MP3 to add a Photo story 3 video home. but it is not recognized by Photo Story 3. Any body know why?.

    Hello Ken,

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
This problem may occur when a computer does not have the codecs Windows Media video Image correct installed. To install the necessary codecs, do one of the following:

    a. connect to the Internet before opening a photo story in series of Windows Media Player 11 or earlier, so that the reader can download codecs.

    (b) on the computer where you try to view the history, download and install Windows Media Player 12, which included the necessary codecs.

If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
Set Windows Media Player as the default player for audio files.
    Refer to this article:

    I hope this information helps.

  • Photo Story 3 for Windows English project

My son saved his photo story 3 for Windows (English project) on his computer.  It is a windows XP. Teacher wants that this format used (Photo Story 3 for windows) and asked his students to save it in a removable format or a zip drive.  We erased all information on the zip drive, but it shows again there is no space available on the zip to save him. I reinstalled Photo Story 3 as indicated by the program without problem. But, always the same answer. Should we just by another zip drive? Help!

    Hi, Carolyn,

You just right-click and "format" drive?

What brand is the zip drive?

    On an Iomega Zip drive:

    PC Windows users

    1. Insert the diskette in your Zip drive to be formatted.

    2. Open my computer and right-click the Zip drive icon.

    3. Select Format from the context menu of the player.

    4. Select the type of format:

      • Short format allows to quickly erase all data on a disk, so you can reuse it.

      • Use Format Long to repair a disk that has developed the errors or to format a drive where you have forgotten the password.

    5. Click Start to start formatting the Zip drive.

If the above does not work, the flash drives are not that expensive.

Alternatively, install the app from skydrive.  Drag the files from the zip drive to Skydrive

  • Photo Story 3 on Windows XP - jump. ____

I have photo story 3 on Windows XP. When you add music to my story, because I'm jumping and hesitation on the preview of my story. Is it because my story is too big? How can I tell the size of my story? The story is actually about 210 photos and play time of 18 1/2 minute.

    Help, please.

    Thank you. DM

Photo Story 3 has a limit of 300 photo, but the number would be
be less if you use a lot of movement, effects and Transitions.

Given that the audio button issue, I suspect the music
file can have an incompatibility problem. If you use the included
creator of music having the same problem?

The most reliable audio formats for PS3 are. WMA and. WAV.

  • Photo Story 3 product compatible for Windows 7

Is there a replacement for Photo Story 3 with the same dubbing operation? It is to keep an image until you have finished talking and then start moving at the set speed. I tried Adobe Photo and Prime Elements 8 and this program makes my computer to do stupid things. Corel works OK, however, it will not stop the show while dubbing. Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you, RLJR

I just bought a computer with Windows 7 OS and was disappointed that PhotoStory does not work on this OS and that Movie Maker had taken voice component.  I teach high school and College students and I used both programs for a number of years.  I don't like not a component of the voice.

Question: Microsoft seeks to silence the voices of its users?  First, the component of speak in Word and now narration for movie listings.  With the difficulty of loading of other programs on the computers in the school, I don't see any hope for my students.

Microsoft will perhaps fix this and give us the voices of children?

  • Save the problem with Photo Story 3 on Windows 7

I managed to install Photo Story 3 on Windows 7 Home Premium, 32-bit.  The program works until I come to save the project and then just before the end of the process 'save', the following error message:

"Some photo story program files may be damaged. Re-install Photo Story 3 for Windows and then change and resave your project."

I did it at least four times, with the same result. Any suggestions please

    Hi GeorgeTroynar,

    ·         This is the first time that you try to save the project with Photo Story 3?

You can completely uninstall the application and then install in clean boot state and check if it works.

For more information about uninstalling a program and a clean boot, see the following articles:

  • Photo Story 3 install and run on Windows 7?

Welcome to Windows 7 my party on Thursday will be be moistened with a little to have to say goodbye to Photo Story 3.

I activated my Windows 7 laptop last night and tried again the download/installation of the PS3. This time it let me download, but with the same end result, a message saying "Photo Story 3 for Windows cannot be installed on this version of Windows... ».

PS3 continued to work properly on the laptop after it has been updated since a Vista on a Windows 7 system... last night, after activation Win7 I did another check to download/install. After uninstalling the PS3, I was able to download it, but run the msi installer file ends with an error message saying PS3 does not work on Windows 7.

He ran very well on all the beta versions and continued to run well on my Vista system upgraded. What is the official end of the line for Windows Photo Story?

Photo Story 3.1 installs and runs fine on Windows 7 with no need to do anything to ensure compatibility. This is the version included in the following Microsoft Digital Image 2006. Installation is done via a setup.exe, not a .msi file.

    ========================================
There is a limit in Photo Story 3 to 300 pictures. However...
It is possible that this number as a project
includes a good number of transitions and effects of movement.

If a project is intended to be quite large... I suggest you
created in sections and then join the saved. WMV files
in a final show. A way to attach files
    import them into Movie Maker.

FWIW... the photo in Photo Story 2 limit was 150.

  • Photo Story 3 for Windows

When I click Import pictures a new window opens and says Photo Story 3 for Windows has stopped working. Problem has caused blocking the program working properly.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium, that this program has worked on until I had to repair my installation of Windows 7 recently.

    Thank you

I did a complete new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium and have reinstalled Photo Story 3 again and it works like a charm again. Bad Microsoft could not get to a fix for the error. I doubt that many people would be willing to completely reinstall their operating system to correct the errors for Microsoft products.
