Edit a video on the original proportions?

I am curious to know if there is a way to edit a video in first, without having to modify the original video proportions - in other words, I don't want to stretch the video, degrading the quality, and I don't want a bunch of added black area, which first adds to the video which can be found under program report.

I have a few videos where the shooter has made a mistake and saved on the wrong settings (I think 360 or 480 rather than 1080). The videos look good at their current size (they are big screen BTW... or some strange mixture between the scale and the standard). I would have preferred that they play more small, gets blown and pixelled to death. But I need to edit the video (cuts, toppings, color correction, etc.).

I use CS4.

Thank you.

You can make your own presets in a new tab sequence/General under the edit mode choose desktop.

This will give you the ability to adjust all the settings that you want them to be.

  • How can I get first remove additional background and restore the original proportions?

I edited to 15 minutes of video in 1080 p, in the end, I added an image to the sequence in 3000 x 2000 that changed the resolution and the aspect ratio of all the elements of the project. Every single video or image has black bars on the sides. I tried exporting at 1080 p in any case, in the hope that it might cut the surplus, but he just resized the sides black 1080 p so half of the screen is black with a little video in the Center. Zoom in does not work because it is not reset the original proportions. Using the parameters of the sequence to cut away half of the image in 1080 p so that either doesn't work for me. Is there a way to remove and recover the videos of how they have been or have I just lost the last 5 hours?

After a few hours of research just about anywhere I could think and swearing like a sailor, I managed to find a solution by myself. When you export the media, in the upper left corner, there are options to scale the videos and one of them fixed it for me. Suffice to say in case someone else is having the same problem.

  • Photos do not print in the original proportions

    Parameters of the photo library

When I opened the Windows Photo Gallery and send a picture to copy on my printer, copies are elongated. I thought it was the printer, but a new printer does the same thing, so my Gallery settings are wrong somehow. I unchecked the adjustment to the page, but it did not help. I can't find a setting to keep the original proportions. Print very well typed documents. Where can I find this setting or the problem? Thanks in advance!

  • Can what software I use to edit HD video using the Satellite A100-192

    Hello

I bought a new HD video camera and I wonder if I can edit the video with first 2 on my laptop Satellite A100-192 with 2 GB of ram.
If not, is there another program that will be faster but professional as Prime Minister to do you work?

    Thank you

    Hello

Personally, I have no experience in using authoring software, but one of my friends use this program and it is not bad.
I use Nero for editing and creation of film... Nero burning rom supports plug-ins extra which are really useful.

Of course, there are 1 million other programs and products on the market. For example, a film of WinDVD Creator isn't bad.

But in my opinion you should google a little and have read a few articles related to these applications...

    Welcome them

  • Is it possible to use After Effects to edit a video of the iPhone?

    Yes.

  • How can I restore all images in a collection at the original imported proportions?

In general, I select all images in a catalog, resize the first image to 640 x 480.  I then right click on the first image (all images are always selected) click settings to develop, sync and choose to sync only the proportions.  All images are then cut to 640 x 480 as the first picture, that I then export to a folder.

Then I need to restore all the images in the original proportions for creating a slide show export to my Web site.  I followed the same procedure is selected all the images, click on the first image, change the original appearance, right click on the first picture and sync proportions for all images.

The problem is that the rest images do not return to their original proportions, but return to the aspect ratio of 4 x 6 instead of the original size when they are imported.  I changed the lock open and tried both but still no result.  Now I have to select each image individually, open the dialog of cultures and choose custom to retrieve for the imported image format.

How do I batch restore images from a collection to the image format when imported?

I see, it is something you do at the end of your treatment, for the slide show to a Web site special... maybe you said it at the beginning, but I respond by e-mail and don't see any of these messages.

In any case, what you can do is to export all your images with their existing to a subfolder (original) aspect ratio, somewhere and add those to the library using the parameter to the top near where you set the directory put them in, and then set a harvest of 4:3 on these imported JPGs and their re-export in 640 x 480 for the RMLS site.  If it is a unique thing for each collection, you could easily just delete both sets of jpg files to your library and the drive to keep the use of extra space, or at least those intermediate.  As you said, that it was a collection, perhaps from different folders, but if they all come from the same folder, to make the JPGs intermediaries and the jpg final 640 x 480 as subdirectories in the original in order to better RAWs keep track of them.

  • Video edited GOPRO is "zoomed" compared to the original film cam; CS6 body

I'm editing only GOPRO footage in PPr CS6. The edited video is "zoomed" ~ 2-3 x from the original sequence of cam.  WHAT's UP W/QUE? A checkbox somewhere? What should I do to change this and have exactly the same appearance as the original cam sequences?  I hope it's understandable. TIA.

    Hi Dearborn1,

You are welcome, but we will make sure you are 100%. HDV refers to a budgeting on the tapes that HD "anamorphosée" of documents, which is so not 'full' HD, which is 1920 x 1080, 1440 x 1080. Don't know what record mode you are, I think you will have the options of the HD 1080 or 720, but you may be better off with a predefined "AVCHD" which corresponds to the form of footage (perhaps you meant HDV 720 p? Not used by a lot of cameras).

You CAN put the clips of 1920 x 1080 HDV project and they look very good, but you lose some resolution in this way. In fact, you can put 1080 clips in a project of 720 p and it still works, but ideally, you want the best match for the source, and then you always can downconvert exit final for web DVD, etc. What is the format of the exact source, the instance as "1080 p 30"?

    Thank you

  • Use the original Windows XP Home Edition CD to reinstall

I lost my cd of windows xp home edition, Microsoft sent me another copy. Now that I moved I lost the copy, but I found my original. Now I have to fix my turn, is it safe to use my old copy. Or I have to format the tower all over again?

    * original title - Microsoft has sent a copy of windows xp at home, now I lost that one, I found my original copy, I can still use it *.

Use 'The Original' with the original product key. For OEM versions, the product key sticker is one on the side of the tower case. Commercial versions have the key of product inside the box.

Insofar as you are using the CD, you must do a "repair installation", the CD must be at the same level service pack as what is installed on the tower.

  • In Movie Maker 6.0 can a video clip (with mute) be spliced in another video clip so it seems to work with the original sound of the first video?

Hi, I put a video together for my MOM to 70th and one of her friends has provided a video clip of her playing a classical piece on the piano for several minutes.  I would like to cover this clip with other video sequences (landscapes, etc.) whereas the way piano since the main video track in the background.
I tried to let fall the piano video file directly in the audio editing panel and then cut a second 20 segment in the video editing and insert a 20 second video (mute) images of landscape. However, the piano audio from the first video stops as soon as the strike chronology inserted piece landscape and picks up again when it ends, even if the audio scenario shows the audio piano continuously?  Am I missing a step or is this not possible?   Thank you very much.

It should work quite as much as you described in Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (WMM 6.0), then maybe there is a step that is missed.  Let me describe how I could do and see if there's something you overlooked.

First of all, I assume that you have already imported the clip of piano and your other clips of landscape in your collection then you can drag the there where necessary.  First, drag the piano music to the track Audio / Music in the timeline panel.  Note that if you have your video extended timeline, it will show video, Transition & Audio, but you want to get off- below that, to the Audio / Music , to follow.  At this point if you play your 'film', you should not to see any picture but just to hear the sound of the piano.  You should also only see a waveform on the audio / music.

Now you can put anything you want on the video track.  Let's start by putting another copy of the original video of piano, but this time on the video track.  If you have developed the video track (to see the Vidéo/Audio/Transition) you will see the video piano and its associated audio waveform.  However, in your case, since you already have the audio separated, you want to cut that his partner.  Right-click on the Audio (attached to the video) track and select Muteor use the menus (Clip > Audio > Mute).

When you preview the project, you have synchronized video browsing with the original copy of the audio piano.  At the point in the video where you want to replace the video with another piano play, making a split (key M).  Make another split at the end of the section.  It is very import that select you the video track when you add new divisions and you have not also be divide the track Audio / Music .

Important: You want to make sure this divide the part that has the exact duration as well as landscape images, you want to replace.  So if you have 20 seconds to add, you divide 20 seconds piano images.

Right-click on the part of piano footage (video track) and choose Remove.  Then, insert the part of sequences of landscape (also on the video track) in its place.  Once again, you will have need put this added sequence muted landscape (Clip > Audio > Mute).

You should now see and hear the piano play.  Without any change in the audio playback in the preview window should implement the landscape images, then returns to piano images.

If you find that your project is not behaving correctly after these splits, but are you sure that you have followed these steps, it could be a problem with your video file types.  If in doubt, try to convert all your videos to .wmv format using something like Freemake Video Converter (freemake.com)

In any case, I hope that you are able to achieve, because it is certainly possible.  Good luck and post back with further questions or information, you can have.

  • do you know how I can record a short video sequence after change in the same format as the original Ant is in format .prel?

I want to sequencse updated the short clip to use them in a slide show.

When I changed the sequence I can only save with a format of PREL.

I want to save it in the sam format as the original (as in photo).

Thank you if you have the answer

The file .prel is the Premiere Elements project file. It is not the real media or video.

As Ann will probably, when you have finished editing your video, you'll be out the video finished, edited in any format you want using the tools on the part of exports &.

  • Possible bug - video frames are jumping all over the exported sequence, but not on the original

    Hi all

I recently used first todo some basic video editing.

When I released the final movie executives seem to jump around and it seems really dodgy.  See the example below and you'll see what I mean

    • The original for this clip source file plays very well (without any image jump) in all playes video, including the first one.
    • I tried to get out about each different type of available video format, but executives still jump
    • I use Premiere CS4 and the original video was recorded on a Samsung camcorder, which uses the codec of samsung SOUSOU.

We never seen anything like this before?  I tried to play round with different settings, but still can't seem to get rid of the image jerky.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

    Thank you

Convert this hardware Samsung to something editable RA, as MS DV AVI type2 before use, or use an application to Samsung.
