  I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW.   I have a job that is coming - the customer has already created the site of Muse & is running. They need to help editing code and do other tasks that so is the best way that I remotely get their code and update it? I just they ask their most recent .muse file? I don't want to use the change in the browser function, rather, I would like to do my editing it and to open their site in Muse. Thank you!!

  To change the content of the page at the end of Muse, you don't need to use scripts or code. You can simply change the content of the Design view with options.

  About the Blog, currently Muse itself does not have this feature, but yes you can integrate third party help object items > option to insert HTML code.

• What is the best way to have a significant amount of news stories on the site of muse?

  Hello, my company recently built a new site on muse from adobe.  We organize several magazine publications.  My boss wanted digital editions of magazines online and not having each individual story posted, so I thought that muse would work great for us, and it was.  But now it has changed its mind and wants it to view each story individually online and have it all searchable, including old stories.  I read that muse works best with 100 pages or less to a Web site, and after that which will run a lot slower and so that we can add all of these stories and keep an archive we have hundreds of pages.  Welcome us with business catalyst, so I do not believe that is an option to download the news stories there (please, correct me if I'm wrong).  is there another option for reporting host on the site other than to create hundreds of pages?   For this, you can use accordion or composition. Add stories with label so that users can click on label for each story and this specific story will be displayed on the page.

• Search for a product on the site of Muse-BC will not redirect to the page of results of product - return an error.

  I built a site of e-commerce in Muse and linked with BC. The site works fine, but it needs a search function.

  I added the "Site Search" form successfully and it was working fine, but the results page does appear as a list. After some research, I found that the 'Search' module product is what I need. I've added to the site, and I see that I have followed each step of the tutorial correctly, but the results page (which is a redirect in the code) will not work. He brings just the error message:

  Page not found

  We could not find the requested Web Page. This is either because:

  • There is an error in the address or link.
  • You have entered the address or link incorrectly.

  Click here to return to our Home Page.

  The search code is added to the header of a page in Muse, and module results {module_productresults} is added to the page of redirection in Muse.

  The site is www.thecookshopross.com, and the search box is currently in the header of the 'Sale' page while I'm working on it.

  Can need a very urgent correction - anyone help?

• Reasonable number of pages in the site of Muse

  Hi guys

  I have been back and forth with this for about 2 years and have not yet taken decision.

  I have and update a site that is not particularly important in the pages - probably 150 or even with images but not too heavy with them. I want to move on to Muse that I'm more comfortable using what Dreamweaver. The new site will be about 100 pages or more and I add about 150 or if the Information Pages that act as the two info pages and leads to the site (SEO), via the backdoor, so to speak.

  I would put these pages of information in some files to them depart the main site pages. Most of the pages will be based on the Masters.

  Is this too much of pages in a site of Muse? And if not, will I get surprises on the road? Any other information would be much appreciated.

  I think the problem is in your hero slider. Just for testing purpose out a slide or add a slide and see if this error number changes. Have you used a third party for that widget?

  Vimeo does not work in mode offline and moves. That being the case, all your videos would have to exist within the structure of folders in the local site. Same goes for everything else. Everything else is just a matter of whether or not you can actually get the site published as a folder on the phone and if the phone security settings actually open the files stored locally.

  More or less you can not because quite simply is not how the explosion of e-mail are designed. Since users can block all kinds of things to their customers of e-mail for security reasons, you need to do without the widgets and other fantasies. Virtually every bit of data should be "inline", i.e. all scripts and CSS definitions must be in the page code, images on a server that is simple or embedded in the mail. Unfortunately, this isn't how Muse works, so unless you care to do manual work extensivce to adjust your code after it has been published you are essentially using the wrong tool.

  Copy / paste is a way (you can have more than one website open at a time in the Muse), another is to add your items that you want to reuse in your library and then just drag and drop them on a from there.
