Editing a template with CSS and Bootstrap

Hello family.

1. I have a template that I had struggled to change. There are portions of the page that I need to hide until I can fill this space with content. Up until then, I would like for the model structure to remain intact but hidden from the public. Is it possible to do?

2. I also have a navigation bar that I can't seem to make the colors to be what I want them to be. When I change the color, something else must be control a part of the link because Lucy said Ricky!

3. Another thing, that I'm trying to do is that some of the buttons on this model is links to a video player that will open a small but expandable window.

Notice to lovers? I could use the help. First time here.

1. you can wrap autour html comment tags the parts you don't want not shown or add display: none to the css of #id parts {display: none ;} or .class {display: none;}.} To give you something more specific, we need see your code in our browsers and get a better explanation of what you want to hide exactly.

2. use Chrome or Firefox right-click > inspect element to see what selectors and where they are in your css files, control the styles for a given element. Then create overrides in a separate linked after the bootstrap css css file in yoursection.

3. search 'Modal Windows in bootstrap' for info on that. There should be a little info and tutorials out there on how to do it.

  • Help please using templates with css files

    Hi, can someone help me with this conundrum?

    I have a site page 5, based on a common model with the BODY tag as an editable for other pages. However these pages require a separate CSS file, but I can't find a way to change the files for different pages.

    The model that I created (Home.dwt) contains its own CSS file, but how then modify this file based on other pages?

    Take a look in your Home.dwt file to the top, between thesection. I think that when a model is saved/created by Dreamweaver inserts an editable 'head '.

    If its in the file Home.dwt, then it should be in all the other pages created from the template. Simply insert your css like below:

    Insert here the CSS

    If it is not in your file already Home.dwt to create an editable region for the specific css of the page:

    Save the Home.dwt file, and this region is expected to propagate to pages from the model

    Also please take into account the fact that any new styles css for a particular page should go in the code AFTER the link to your existing css file. This ensures that the new css styles will too drive css styles in your linked css file.

  • No dialog box edit in Photoshop with LR and PS are the use of ACR

    I am looking for more information without success "full"... The answer closest to you what I was looking for was found in this quote, but, as in the quotation even he ask to open a new threat do not interfere with issues.

    I just started having the same problem. When I edit a photo in Ps from Lr. The dialog box is not started, and if I edited in LR it takes adjustments and opens to the PS. I have Lr cc v2015.5.1 camera raw 9.5.1. I have reset all warning dialog boxes. Weird. I suspect that there is a bug. Any ideas?

    Please start your own thread. Since you have LR CC 2015.5.1 you also PS CC 2015.1.2.

    What you see is normal. When you select Edit in Photoshop LR and PS use the same version of ACR so no dialog is necessary. Your RAW image opens in PS with all the LR settings included as a type of RAW file waiting to be saved as all that you have selected the type of file in External Editor preferences of LR, PSD or TIF section. The only time you get this dialog window is if ACR versions do not match. LR uses a version more recent ACR uses the PS version you have installed.

    Ok!! I get it but is there a way to get LR to me for anyway? Sometimes I like to play in LR to get an idea of the final image, but I'd still love to be able to edit in PS 0 and compare results once in LR. I get bored just this box!

    You can get this dialog for non-premieres images. With raw images if you have the same version of ACR and LR it will always open directly.

    If you want to edit from scratch, simply create a virtual copy and reset its development. Then open in Photoshop. Note that the changes in Lightroom are exactly the same as what you get in the cab.

  • Basics of CSS and Templates

    Hello
    I have limited experience working with CSS and Templates Does anyone know of some good resources to get quickly to the current?

    Thank you.

    on the line #58 in your stylesheet, you have an image of 'empty' set 250x250px that pushes your text to the right. try to remove the following line #58 and see if that gives you what you need:

  • T42 hide menu with CSS media query

    In an application of theme univeral if you attempt to print a page with the display left menu, it takes too much space.

    These can be removed with CSS, and I found the room to be cut after the hidden menu.

      #t_Body_nav
        { display : none; }

      #t_Body_content
        { margin-left : 0px !important; }

    Yet, when they are wrapped in a media query, during print preview or emulation (image) the margin on the left is in the spotlight, but the body remains behind

    @media print {

    Note that I'm only interested in the media query, not printer_friendly solution. Although I have not there is no friendly t42 model, printer only honour which is described in the documentation.

    Scott

    Hi Scott

    I think it's the transform that you are missing:

    @media print {
      form .t-Body #t_Body_nav {
        display: none;
      }
      form .t-Body .t-Body-main {
        margin-left: 0;
        -webkit-transform: none;
        transform: none;
      }
      form .t-Body .t-Body-main>div {
        margin-left: 0 !important;
      }
    }

    A bit of fiddling with the specificity of the selector is necessary to avoid !important directives on everything.

    In literature, there is a section for 'Quick edit CSS and JavaScript', that said"

  • Issues with paragraph and CSS styles and models module Styles

    I am having difficulties with a text style in my templates module in British Colombia (especially the blog). The drop-down list in the Editor's paragraph style does not reflect the H1, H2, etc. that has been downloaded to the site at its inception in Muse. And I don't have the ability to use CSS styles.  What gives?

    How can I change the paragraph styles to match the downloaded versions that CSS is not available?

    http://sweetsandtreatsboutique.2121customcontact.com/index.html

    It may be somewhere in the Site Global stylesheet. My boss, who created it in Muse, labeled H1, etc. like the following...

    . H1-GaramondB-40-151

    {

    color: #543426;

    Police-family: Garamond, Hoefler Text, Palatino Linotype, Palatino, serif;

    left margin: 0px;

    margin-right: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 0px;

    padding-top: 0px;

    }

    As a result, BC is not recognize this policy because of the name? I tried to delete the text after the .h1 and the paragraph style has not changed.

    -Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

    Your CSS code target the elements with the class ".h1-GaramondB-40-151", but this blog page your elments of a H2 does not have this category against them, that's why you need to replace the class name with the h2, as this element:

    H2 {}

    color: #543426;

    Police-family: Garamond, Hoefler Text, Palatino Linotype, Palatino, serif;

    font size: 35px;.

    make-weight: bold;

    line-height: 1;

    left margin: 0px;

    margin-right: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 0px;

    padding-top: 0px;

    }

    I hope that makes sense. If you are looking for something like 'target the elements on the page with CSS' you will see what I mean.

    See you soon,.

  • CSS Rollover Menu with pictures and witness to the Page class

    I have a web site with 15 pages based on a template, and I want to use this sample video to do the same thing on my website.

    Please tell me if I can use the sample from the link above to do so.

    What should I change in the css file (which new class should I do) so that it works on a web site based on a template?
