Editing in photoshop from lightroom photo 4

In the case of lightroom 4, selecting a photo and choose Edit in photoshop, sometimes a dialog box opens asking if I want to open original or copy with lightroom edits and sometimes it just opened in photoshop without the options. Anyone know why this is

Hello!

If you open a non - raw such as TIFF, PSD or Jpeg image in Lightroom, you will offer the open dialog box asking "edit a copy with lightroom adjustments", "edit a copy" or "Edit original".

If you open a raw image with the option of additional external editor, the only available option is to edit a copy pixel-rendering using Lightroom adjustment: "edit a copy with lightroom adjustments.

  • Loss of quality when editing in Photoshop from Lightroom

I just noticed this tonight for the first time in nearly two years, and I hope it was not ruining my quality this time together.  I worked on an image in Lightroom, got the contrast and the perfect color and when I went to "Edit in Photoshop" it completely shaved on my photo of blackening of most of my lighter areas and it is horrible.  Discover the sky in these two pictures to see what I mean.  Any ideas? I have LR3 and CS4 if that helps...

It of ok, go to the Preferences dialog box and press the button reset warning dialog boxes, then he will reappear.  Open in any case explain - LR3 has CS5 or later to open rendered identical using anyway.  If you choose rendered using Lightroom, it must pass over the rendering correctly.

  • Error launching Photoshop from Lightroom

I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom 5 of the creative cloud. After the upgrade to Yosemite, I get an error launching Photoshop from Lightroom. When I right-click on an image in Lightroom and select Edit in Photoshop I get an error: "among application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application. Uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom and the CC app, run the tool from Adobe CC cleaning and re - install.  Use the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

I am very new to try to work with layers, masks and so on.  In lightroom when I go to the photo and select edit in the option I want to 'open as layers in photoshop' has not been highlighted and therefore not available for me.  Anyone know what may be the problem?  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Penny,

This option works when you select multiple images in Lightroom to open as layers in Photoshop.

Choose so many images to enable this. See photos from Lightroom open in external applications

  • Raw edit be circumvented from Lightroom to CS6

    Greetings from the United Kingdom,

I have Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and CS6 and all worked well until this morning, I use to be able to right click on an edit image CS6 Lightroom and the normal Adobe Raw pane would be presented and adjustments made.

Now when I try the image immediately opens in CS6 bypassing the first orders.

I can open a file directly from CS6 and the Raw pane is presented, similarly when the Raw pane appears in the bridge.

    Any help gratefully received

I find it interesting that, at the same time, the camera raw interface would be displayed when you open an image from Lightroom to Photoshop. The behavior you're seeing now is the normal behavior. Camera raw is simply used to interpret the Lightroom adjustments, the image being spent in Photoshop. But this happens only when Lightroom and Photoshop use the same version of camera raw. Since you're using Photoshop CS6 with Lightroom 6, your camera raw is not at the same level that Lightroom is. As a result, Lightroom creates a PSD or TIF file (depending on your preferences settings) which includes the Lightroom adjustments, and this is the file that is passed to Photoshop.

In any Lightroom/Photoshop workflow, even if the two meme si les deux programmes programs use the same version of Camera Raw, the only time where you work on the image data raw is when working in Lightroom. Once Photoshop is introduced into the workflow, work is no longer with the raw image data.

  • Edit in photoshop since lightroom cs6 4

    Hello

I work between lightroom 4 and photoshop c6.

I have a question though. What is happening is that I use to send my picture of LR to photoshop.

Do my work, layers and other things.

    Then save

Back in LR, I now have an edit.psd.

So far, which is very good.

But if I return this edit.psd (using the original Edit) to photoshop, work, save it.

When I'm back in LR, this is always the same Edit.psd and doesn t give me the workflow I use to have.

When I use it to return an edit.psd in photoshop work and save, I use to have a second image called edit - 2.psd.

Which was a really good for me workflow so that I remember picture who's who.

I tried to edit the copy when referring to photoshop, but then I m get a new file named Edit - Edit.psd.

I prefer this option because a less I have the 2 files I want. But I would really like to have this second file as edit - 2.psd and if I chose to edit a 3rd time I edit - 3.psd

Can you please please help me out here?

    I have im going crazy...

    thks a lot

  • Edit in Photoshop from Dreamweaver

In Dreamweaver CS6, I select "Edit original with photoshop.  Dreamweaver tries to back up an older version of Photoshop is more on my computer rather than the current version of CS6.  How to fix this?

I did not DWCS6, just DWCS4 and CC, so some of what I see may be different from yours.

Did you remove the old photoshop in the list first, before adding the new, then set it to primary?

What you have in the area of the fireworks on the bottom of the preferences > Types of files/editors screen?

  • Images from Lightroom slow opening in Photoshop cc cc

I just upgraded to the stand-alone versions of 6 cc Lightroom & Photoshop 6 (hoped for an increase in speed and new features). When I want to edit an image in Photoshop from Lightroom, it opens very slowly or I try a couple of times before opening. Any advice on a solution would be appreciated. Thank you.

The standalone version and the CC version share the same program code. Regarding speed, you won't see any difference. However, the CC version adds new features that the stand-alone version does not.
