• Cannot change versions of the Tablet/phone with editing in the browser?

  Hello! I can't edit in the browser. The website is transferred to an FTP host and I'm editing of the site with inbrowserediting.adobe.com.

  The desktop version works great – when I fly over areas of text, I get the blue highlight and 'Edit' button, etc - but when you view the versions of the Tablet and phone I can't modify any text or replace images at all. It just seems to view the site with no editing features.

  We have also received your request for support on this issue and we are now looking at the issue.

  It is probably related to a custom HTML Widget, which performs the slide in animation for the pages of the Tablet and phone, somehow affecting the functionality of the editor.

• In the edition of accordions browser

  I built a couple of sites using Muse and in one of them (www.tenniswalden.com) I used accordions to keep my pages short.  I do not know others might have used a different design to address the issue of page length.  However, I liked the way it turned out and so do the users of the site.  I expected that I would be able to use in the browser edition on the site, including accordions.  As it turns out I can change the headers of individual element of accordions, but the text in the span element is not editable in a browser and so I have to go back to make changes within the Muse.  It of OK for me but not for others who are going to be editing the information in a browser.  It's just the way it is, or did I miss something?

I have in the browser active editing on the site, but which is insofar as it allows me to get. He actually let me add someone to do or give me a way.

  You can change/update the site directly from Muse through the option publish to publish the Business Catalyst select drop-down list and choose the url for the site.

  About IBE, you can connect to your site and add site admin users.

  Go to Site Settings > users Admin > invite.

• Missing definition of site details in the site DW CS6 Manager

  I have half a dozen web sites built with DW CS6, but suddenly none of them can be edited with the Site Manager.

  For example, the servers in the Site configuration window tab is displayed as below...

  This problem has been resolved:

  Updated to Mountain Lion.

  But thanks to ST and bgupta to offer considerable perspectives and the ability to repair this problem.

  With respect to the use of the vacuum cleaner of CS, I ran this unintaller to the point where I felt not sure if the next click would erase all CS6 programs with a single click.

  The uninstall program did not offer me the choice of DW of a sublist of the Suite selection... so I shot of this.

  Perhaps this distinctive choice would have appeared, but I'm sure we've all been burned in the past by the same eagerness to solve a software problem.

• Need to change thumbnail image of the hero AND editing in the browser?

  My customer wants to be able to make changes to the images in the slide show I put in place for their portfolio. It seems that editing in the browser forces him to make changes to individual thumbnails and the heroes of his slide show images separately. Is there a better way to do so, or both should be changed?

  Unfortunately, you will have to do it separately for both at the IBE. It is as expected.

  If the downloaded site includes specific url as domain.com/username, and then the user can directly use this link in the browser editor, so he will be directed to this specific site for the site editing.

  On the same site if you want to separate authorization of installation for the users, which can be done through end of Muse but of the hosting platform.

  One thing that I was invited by my clients is the ability to create and edit hyperlinks by editing in the browser. The document that describes the features of the browser installation - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3201 - shows the possibility of edit links. Is this something that will be added in the future to Muse?

  An update was released today which includes the new feature with hyperlink change/add to the IBE.

  Muse syncs to the last version saved or published to the site, so if the file or the site is updated from your end as last then it will not show the changes made since the end of your client.

  If this isn't the case then post some screenshots of the changes that your client made his end and the site your.

  I can't change the text of most. There are a few areas that can be changed, such as the text that is linked and images (with the exception of images of text). But the basic text not! The site is www.abientotandkidspot.com.

  You use a system font for some text, the entire text exported as an image block. If a block of text uses only web-safe fonts or present web fonts natively in Muse, it should be editable (except some other condition in the documentation link above applies).

  I have a client who is a sports agent. She wants to add its own customers (text/images) on the site. Editing in the browser is not the most sufficient if she wants to add customer information in its pages. Is there another way - widget?

  If anyone edits the site from their browser, then the next time that you log in the .muse for this site, muse will tell you that the online site has changed... are your options;

  • ignore it... a bad idea
  • take the changes on Board that is to say, the changes will be downloaded to your local file to Muse,
  • change it back

  As my clients technician COMPUTER hosts many sites, I asked him to create a unique login for my client.

  If I try to upload the Web site by using this single connection, it is said that the 'folder does not appear to connect to site' & is not that recent changes are not displayed.

  Technician COMPUTER does not know what else to do...

  Could you describe a little more how you or your customer download site?

  With most FTP servers, in order to download your Web site correctly, you must set the name of the subfolder on your server, as the root of your FTP space is probably not the root of your site. On most of the servers, it is a folder named "www" or "htdocs" or another mysterious name.
