  Mark II Canon EOS 1DX raw files require the raw camera 9.5 version that is supported in Photoshop CC and above.

  Therefore, you must either upgrade to Photoshop CC or Adobe DNG Converter allows you to convert raw files to DNG and access these DNG files in Photoshop CS6.

  I try to open RAW files with my new 80 d on Lightroom CS5 and Photoshop CS6.  I have Camera RAW 9.1.1. What is the more up-to-date for CS6 version.  I have to buy Adobe CC in order to use this unit with this Adobe products.  Would mean that I have to buy new versions of Lightroom and Photoshop?

  80 d Canon raw files are not accessible in Photoshop CS6, because they are supported in Camera raw 9.5 and Lightroom 6.5/CC2015.5

  You can upgrade or use free Adobe DNG Converter.

  The D7100 was added to the list of devices supported in Camera Raw version 7.4, which is compatible with Photoshop CS6. There is no Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop CS5 that will support this camera. You will need to choose another software, or use the free DNG Converter to create negative digital copies of your NEF files. Then you can open these files DNG using Camera Raw, you have now.

  All your windows updates are installed?  Try to clean the Windows thumbnail species.  I think use Adobe the OS dialog for features like open file. Also, to get thumbnails for RAW file PSD files, you will need to install codecs in windows. I use the fastepictureviewer codec package. What version of Windows are you using the dialog box look like a windows problem.

  I have a Nikon d7100 and PE will not read the raw (NEF) file.  I installed the camera Raw Converter v7.4, but again, it will not read the files.  I got my D90 raw files and they work fine.  I use Windows 7

  I just discovered that the 10 items only supports up to version 6.2 raw converter. I need for the D7100 7.4. Time to upgrade.

• CC of Photoshop not allowing importation of the Nikon D800 JPEG - Photoshop CS6 has worked well.

  When inporting JPEG of Nikon D800 nothing happens - screen remains blank.

  Went back to my version of provious (Photoshop CS6) and it worked fine.

  Bad idea to import files directly from the camera to the computer.  Much safer to use the card reader.

  In previous versions, the download process through bridge.  In CC Bridge is a separate download, although included in the subscription.
