  Hi people.

  Thus, my Linux skills are quite fragile, to say the least.

  We have the VAPP for Horizon eval vCops (5.7), and I want to implement some of the statements.

  By reading the manual, it seems that I need to change the emailfilter.xml on the virtual analytical machine.

  Can someone explain the best way to do it? And where is the file?

  I can connect to the virtual machine as root... do I have to edit the file directly using VI?

  Any good suggestions on using this method?

  emailFilter.xml is for the creation of rules for filtering for SMTP-based alerts.

  You can SSH in the VM analytics and vi edit emailFilter.xml... OR if your Linux skills are lacking you can use an SCP client (WinSCP, Fugu, etc) and edit the file via a graphical interface pretty.

  If you want to find a file in the future, you can do this command: find /-name emailFilter.xml

  I'm trying to filter for alerts from the Virtual Machine to the user interface in the emailFilter.xml.

  Ideally I would like to filter by other measures such as the ready % CPU or the CPU usage or some other metrics, but in the meantime just try to isolate the Virtual Machine.

• Generating PDF editable using XML Publisher

  I'm trying to generate an editable pdf form of R12 using XML Publisher.  I am able to generate my PDF and load some data to it, but whenever I generate the PDF, it turns out all of my read-only form fields.  I tried to create the xdo.cfg file and place it in $XDO_TOP/resource by using the code below.

  So, I realized what my problem was.    For some reason any my xdo.cfg file in $XDO_TOP/resource has not been read. Now, I tried putting in $OA_JRE_TOP/lib and it worked.  Thanks for your help.

• CS3: Editing of XML tags delete behavior

  Hello world

  I try to import the XML - tag text into InDesign and use tags to map styles to give it the correct formatting automatically. It works perfectly, but it seems to be a problem when I try to remove or mitigate the paragraphs. In a normal document, deleting a paragraph leaves the next paragraph intact. In my document XML-filled, when I delete a paragraph, following paragraph takes the style of the para, I just deleted. I really want to do this!

  Any of you have seen this effect before? Is the problem to do with the way my XML tags are structured? I'm not having luck with the research for this problem, but maybe I don't know the right words...

  The tag level paragraph around the next paragraph remains intact, so if I reapply my mapping tags-for-styles, paragraph misstyled now is corrected (but restylings I made or substitutions are eliminated). However, if I remove the brand throughout the document, it refers to the correct behavior.

  I would really appreciate any advice you may have on what I'm doing wrong here. It's probably a rookie mistake, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. I use InDesign CS3.

  Of the operation when you map tags to styles?

  I suspect what could happen is that some of the paragraphs were initially marked by quadruple-click or by mapping styles to tags. One of these involves paragraph returns are included in the tags, so that closing tags occur at the beginning of new paragraphs. Then, when you delete a paragraph, you're left with remnants of old labels of this paragraph (with nothing inside) in the following paragraph. (Check the editor mode to test this.) Now, if you map tags to styles at this stage, a paragraph with residual tags like these can be given the style of a paragraph that was deleted.

  The way to avoid it is to ensure the closing tags occur before paragraph returns - but of course if you get InDesign to "clone" for repeated XML elements, the resulting 'cloning' behavior will be different. Consider the possibility of not to include the content of the white elements only to fix. It will probably take a bit of trial and error to work exactly as you want, but it is by for the course!

  I am using custom dashboards and I send as an email alerts to the respective teams. To do this, we have @event alert and its configuration. To specify that only certain alerts (those important or essential) should hit the enamel of team members we have now no settings GUI to configure the alert out of dashboards customized just like standard dashboards in notifications. (See attached image)

  For this vmware has created an emailfilter.xml file in the VM Analytics which allows to modify according to your design. My question is where can I fnd this file on a virtual computer analytical if we deployed Ops vC as a paralytic? because vmware has told u cannot use this xml file configuration file editor.

  I edit a XML file, which is pretty simple. DW close automatically the end tag by typing < / , but today, I have the problem, that the closing tag is not correct (see picture):

  I disabled the AutoComplete feature in DW, long, long. It seems to get confused quite often.

• Invalid XML editing guests

  I renamed a sector of activity, the catalog folder and dashboard; and I've changed the references in the dashboard, applications, prompts and filters by editing their XML from Catalog Manager.
  
  Editing application that worked well, and I didn't run into any problems with the filters and the dashboard. However, responses seems to stop to acknowledge at least a prompt when I change the XML code. When then I copy this prompt again from the original folder and rename them, it is then recognized as a command prompt (although he always uses the wrong subject).
  
  When I extract, modify and paste XML return (to change the references of subject area), the type of object in Catalog Manager password "Dashboard invite" to "coxmldocument1" and answers it shows with a different icon and cannot change it.   I just design Web CS6 and love it, but still trying to find a few things.

  I am especially a Photoshop user and initially was just going to PhotoshopCS6, but ultimately decided to get all of the suite Design and Web. For this reason, I have the amazing Flash Pro CS6.

  It's been a while since I've used Flash, but am very interested in the ablity to make apps for Android and iOS etc.

  As a little gray in this area (as not to use Flash for a while), I looked through various tutorials on the site Web of Adobe, most (not all) are 5.5 Flash with regard to design for Mobile.

  I noticed that in some of the video tutorials (mainy excellent Paul Trani ones) it loads a snippet called Mobile.xml pack. This allow him to access the native sections of the moble device.

  Have looked at Flash CS6, I can't seem to find these code snippets. I want to especially the extracts for the user interface of camera as a wish of desigh for mobile project that will use the moblies built in camera app.

  Where can I find these code snippets? I'm I missing just something really simple?
