Edition: «print on both sides...» "not this checkbox in V10.1.2 under Win XP SP3

Since upgrading to Adobe Reader 10.1.2 (I never had of desire), my "Print on both sides" option is of course WE (by default), but I can not turn off because the box to do so is not present in the print dialog box:

adobe print problem.jpg

The box should be located under the "Choose papre source" box, but it is not. This is why the advice of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/928/cpsid_92870.html is useless. I did a control panel > programs > change/fix, still the same problem. Also tried Adobe Reader > edit > Preferences > General > uncheck "Enable protected mode at startup" (suggested in another thread), problem persists. The reactivated (protected mode).

Using Win XP Pro SP3.

It is a real pain... each print job brings the dreaded "Print to order both sides ', with paper wasted, what makes each page to print manually, etc..  I've seen this scenario reported by others... Adobe, please fix this!

Hi Johann,.

You driver doesn printer supports duplex printing, due to which you are not able to see this checkbox.

You can try the following command to disable via registry duplex printing:

1. go in: start-> Run-> type Regedit-> click OK.

2. open the registry editior. Look for the register:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral]

3. find the existing DWORD value named:

«iDuplexMode "= DWORD: 00000001".»

Set the value as:

1 = no duplex

0 (or key does not exist) = duplex

  • HP officejet 4630 will not print on both sides of the paper

Unable to print on both sides of the paper. The backsideprints first, then wait for the ink to dry, front end starts to print then stops with a windows error message popping up on the screen saying cannot print the document.

I found that I can't print multiple pages either. For example, I decided to print the document of 4 pages in the form of simple pages only (since double-sided would not work) and the results were first page print second page prints on a third, and then just stop with error message this printer cannot print the pdf document. If I had to select each separately page to finnally get all four printed pages. HP print and scan diagnosis says theres no problem. Windows diagnostics says there is no problem.

Obviously there is a problem can offer advice and the solution?

    Thank you

    To all,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I would like to point out that the problem was solved and printer works fine.

The solution is one of the two things?

First, I opened the windows firewall and allows all applications and processes to pass through. There may be a few dozens of them, some have been verified and how some have been blocked. I checked all except those who started with 'remote '.

Second, I went on the printer software and returned the IP address of the printer. It was the same as the IP address, but somewhere on the microsoft blog, I read that windows and routers sometimes lost the IP address. That's why I'm re-entered.

I don't know which of these fixed the issue, but one of them did.

    Thanks again

    Hello

I have a Deskjet 2050 All - in - One J510a and I just realized that I can't manually print on both sides simply because this function does not exist on the print menu in the Properties window.

So, how can I print on both sides?

    Thank you

So I guess I should be a REP from HP because these guys are not answering the question? If you go under Printer Properties Advanced there is an option to print only the even or odd, pages print the odd pages first and then put the paper in the printer, go to print click on main pages and bam there you go.

  • How to stop a manual printing always print on both sides

My new HP Photosmart ePrint printer still prints both sides when alone is necessary.  I put it in place for manual printing to save paper.  If I don't have only one line on the page it will make me print on both sides.  My older printer has been able to determine the necessary pages, why not this one?

    Hi Karen2968,

The Photosmart D110A he does manual duplex printing.

For that, you must follow the steps below.

    • When you tiring to print you must go the printer preferences.
    • Select Manual duplex printing.
    • Whenever it prints one side, you have to manually turn the paper to print the second page.

Photosmart D110A has no automatic duplex.

If that's what you are already doing and you encounter the problem, clear manual duplex printing and then turn it back on.

  • How to print on both sides using a Mac and a HP2575?

    Hello

I've been a Windows user for some time now and recently bought a MacBook.  For a long time, I used Windows to print Word documents, which allowed me to print on both sides (even though my printer is not a "module" sides).   When I went to print using my MacBook, my printer (HP2575 all-in-one), would allow me to print on both sides.  Is there a program I can download that would allow me to print on both sides?

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thank you!

I tried to print another document infact a page of e-mail, he gave me a double option face why can't print with adobe reader software?

    Hi dianah71252428,

Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat allow you to print double-sided if your printer supports this feature. The printer driver controls the options, not Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader. Check your printer documentation to see what features your printer supports. (Double-sided printing is also called duplex, back to back, front and back, or double-sided printing).

Refer to this KB document for help double-sided printing. Adobe Acrobat, Reader

    Kind regards

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hey leathac52847786,

Do a selection for printing on Both Sides option is the features of your printer, no drive.

You may need to make sure your printer supports duplex printing and this feature is not cut.

Please consult the following KB link doc and see about the same:
