  What are the details of the correct file, and given that you will not experience this problem with other effects, I wonder if there is an installation problem. You have another system, you can try the project, even without the media? If it opens here, maybe reinstall first on the system where the effect is reported as missing can solve the problem. Let us know your results.

He puts the speakers muted, but does not change color.  It's still orange, not mater if your speakers are on or off.   His other (white) State works because it is white to start windows, but then goes to orange and does not change when selected but by selecting the button speaker turn the speakers on and outside as it should.

  I've loaded and reinstalled the quick launch driver software (sp46731.exe), but the problem is still there.  The problem is about 2 weeks old.   Have not added any new software that I know.  But computer installs updates as received.

  First download the audio driver by using the links below and save the installer to your desktop.

  Audio driver - Windows 7

  Audio driver - Windows Vista

  Once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation - ignore the warnings that you can see everything that is an earlier version.  Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

  I'm new to actionscript 3.0. I created a flash movie that contains a simple clip (clip_mc) and a button (btnGo). Depending on the number of clicks of button clip_mc stop and play. It works very well with the 'Test Scene'. But when I run the SWF file separately, the action script does not work.

  I tried to export as Movie Clip and run, it still does not work. Can someone please help me understand this.

  My guess would be that the Actionscript code works, just not in a way that you expect.  If you test the swf file alone, then chances are that ExternalInterface.available turns to the top of the 'false' because there is no html page to confirm availability.

  You will not see traces when you run a swf by itself if that's what you expect to see.  You must instead use textfields in these circumstances.

  Try to see what this value ExternalInterface.available ahead test phrases to see what value there... use a textfield, rather than by the trace.

  In addition, having Flash publish an html page and test the page html instead of just the swf file on its own.

  Okay, looks like the automatic selection is enabled. Look in the top toolbar and uncheck the automatic selection.

  So I just got me a new computer HP desktop with XP and everything works fantastic with the exception of Windows Movie Maker. I use it on a regualr basis to create 2d animation frame-by-frame and it is important that I have functional. Unfortunately, when I open it, it is quick to give me a window "has encountered a problem / needs to close." The debug option is useless. What is really strange is that I managed to get a very similar program called "Camtasia. This program works, although it will not play videos, even his own tutorials! Audio, however, works very well. I find as strange as Media Player plays video smoothly, seems to work on the same basis as the viewers of other programs...?

  Things that I've tried, from other responses on blogs, etc. :

  -Reinstall Movie maker

  -Uninstalling Movie maker (it says it cannot)

  -Apparently essential codec packs, one at a time, uninstall the last to avoid "clash".

  -Installation of DIVX

  -Remove, reinstall Adobe Flash player

  -Updated Windows service pack 3

  -Updated ActiveX (including suggested Internet security 'custom settings' to allow ActiveX to do his stuff by choosing prompting options

  instead of being completely disabled

  -Ask my technical friends, suggesting a codec problem.

  I've been at this for eight hours, and this is my last ditch in order to understand this. Help, please!
