  I have a photoshop button that has 2 States: Normal and rollover. Rolling works before you add a hyperlink to it, but when I add the hyperlink and listen to extracts from the website, the bearing stops running. Can you explain where I'm wrong? The transition works fine until I have add the link.

  The only way that it would not work is if you are linking to the same page as you. Other than that, the only other explanation is that your Muse program has a bug.

• effect of substitution of opacity stopped working

  Hello

  We used several rollover of opacity effects in a whole new site. Yesterday, after 3 days of work (ongoing) on the Web site, all the effects of overview of the opacity on a screen / page stopped working. We have tried to create new ones, but they have the same problem. The effects no longer appear in the preview, the preview of the Web site or on businesscatalyst.com (using different browsers). Of course, we can go back to a working state (using our backups) but we want to know what caused the problem. We had no computer crash, no software gel or else (no updates of the system and we use the latest version of Muse CC2015).

  On the screen all the specifications for the different bearing elements look OK (start / end point, opacity, etc.).

  Anyone any idea what happened? How can we prevent similar problems? Any suggestions?

  Sounds like trouble...

  Are you on a Mac? try creating a new user (again, just for test reasons) and use the Muse in this user to create something similar. If it does not either, then your application has been compromised in some way. (Uninstall and install again).

  Salvation; I have a site of online gallery displaying the work of several different artists; arist names are listed in a left-hand navigation pane, and I added a substitution effect, whereby the user can view an example picture for each artist by reversal of the name of the artist, and a preview image appears under the list of names. I wonder if it is possible to set up some kind of delay, so that instead of this preview image that appear immediately on the bearing, the user must have its cursor name for, say, a second show the preview image.
  
  The reason for this is to avoid the crazy flicker that by simply moving the cursor on the list; in this way, the user can pause on each name to make the rollover image appear;
  
  Is there a simple JavaScript there to implement this?

  That's what I do:

  1. Select the layer with the text

  2. click the FX button at the bottom of the screen

  3 click the Styles tab

  4. Select Outer Glow of drop down

  5. I can see 11 predefined option.  The only one that works is called 'Fire' and it's not the style I'm looking for.  I want a simple contour, but none of the other presets have no effect.

  Any help would be appreciated!  Thank you!

  I would like to add effect assets and reversal of my navigation menu - but I can't seem to find out how.

  When rolling on a menu item or when the page is active I would be like a colorful rectangular box the width of the Word appear below, but shifted by maybe 15 or 20 pixels. Tried to figure this out myself for hours but without success.

  It is not easy to do when the small region that you want to change the color is part of a bigger picture.  In general, there are three approaches you can take:

  1 to n + 1 distinct images, where n is the number of hot spots, you have on the image.  The first picture would be with none of the 'links' in a color of overview.  Each additional image would be the same image database, but with each one of the links given the color of overview.  Check each hotspot swap the base image to one associated with this hotspot onmouseover. If this sounds tedious and complicated, that's because it is.

  2. cut the image into pieces such that each link is contained in his own room.  Make two images for each link and use one for the turnaround.  Share these small images for a bearing on each link.

  3. get the links out of the picture altogether.  Make the link image without the background image for a larger container.  Add your links as plain text in the container and use floats/margins to move their position within the container and over the image.  Apply your links to text and use CSS for rollovers.

  In the absence of details on your image and its size and the location of hot spots, my choice would be #3.  It would probably be #3 anyway...

• Effect of substitution for jpeg related button

  Hi all

  I did a search but could not really find anything useful for my case.

  Currently I have a retangular jpegs converted to the related buttons.  The reason why I made these buttons like JPEG are b/c I wanted to use this really cool font that most computers would easily.  His job very well, but I would have an effect of underline when the mouse is reversed.

  What is the best way to achieve this?  I looked in the properties of the button, but it doesn't have that option... is it possible to do this in the timeline?

  Should I replace this non-highlighted button with a jpeg that is highlighted when the keyframe is in the position?

  I use dreamweaver and flash for the first time; all of my content is a single flash inside a swf file that is centered on the page in dreamweaver.

  I find the page layout setting in difficult somehow Dw and Fl much more easy to work with.

  You can do several things.

  The simplest is probably this:

  1. double-click on the button on the stage.

  2. Add a new layer

  3 convert the framework of the State above the new layer to a keyframe

  4 draw a line to give the effect of underscores in the new keyframe

  Another solution would be for you to save a second jpeg output for each of the buttons and place this jpeg in the keyframe of the over State.

  However, you can avoid using JPEG files in total. You can write the text in Flash and break apart (Ctrl + B twice) to convert it to vector graphics.
