  Installed application:-installed Backup tool and IBM tape library connected by Cisco nexus switch

  Summary:-each time the backup tool initiating any SCSI command etc. for library of tapes, just after a few minutes in the event log, server shows "restore the device, \Device\RaidPort1, has been issued." and the tape library configured in backup tool disconnected from the physical tape library.

  Up to now steps below was taken but no luck:
  1. test Unit Ready has been disabled in the registry
  2 adapter ANC, fresh of zoning has been replaced.
  3 firmware and driver from the adapter of the ANC has been updated.

  My Compaq Presario F500 uses the Microsoft Vista operating system.  I tried to install the trial version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010.  The installation failed and began to 'undo changes' after that that we discovered the previous versions of the trial had been detected.  During the uninstall or process "cancel changes", I unplugged my laptop.  It was powered by the adapter, no battery.  Now, when I start my computer, it goes to Windows Recovery screen.  Once I selected "Boot mode safe" or any other option, including the BIOS screen, it goes straight to a black screen and stops.  My computer was purchased with Windows Vista preloaded.  Any ideas on what is causing the black screen does not?  My files on this computer has not been saved.  Independent repairers are load and arms and legs.  Y at - it an easy solution to this problem that I was able to help out so that my laptop will boot and go to my Windows screen and normal office?

  I bought a Tosh laptop about a year ago and I like to keep programs and services up-to-date.
  When I visited the site the other day, I noticed that my laptop model is now discontinued... someone else in the family just got a new laptop Tosh and I noticed lots of Toshiba Basic programs and services are much more recent than mine.

  No one knows how long we receive updates for? End of warranty? End of production?
  I downloaded Tosh a similar, more recent programs and they work just fine - I don't know why my previous updaters of Tosh software does not give them to me. Of course, some newer models will have some new features that are not compatible with mine.

  Hello, I have a desktop PC and a laptop (DELL Inspiron N-4050).
  I have problem with my internet connection cable which is working fine on my PC, but does not not on my laptop giving an error "no access to the network.

  When I troubleshoot it says "your computer seems to be correctly configured but the device or resource (DNS SERVER) is not responding."
  I said to many technicians of microsoft online response, but they could not solve my problem and said this is my DNS problem and advised me to contact my Internet service provider. Guess it's because of my internet so why it works on my PC not on laptop?

  Yesterday, my ethernet cable pulled out my cell phone and I couldn't connect to the internet more. But on my desktop PC, it works perfectly fine. (I do not use wifi, if this information is also required) I have studied several threads with similar situations, and I have tried different methods to solve the problem to no avail. I did a system restore, but I'm having no luck. Also, I did not of the latest changes with my anti virus software and my LAN card drivers look to date.

  When I remove my cable from the laptop and again connect my cable then it works but only after the PC sat for awhile.
  1.I did flush DNS by typing "ipconfig/flushdns" in the command prompt.
  2. my IP address, DNS, subnet mask etc are set to automatic.
  3.I also added physical address taken from command line giving "ipconfig/all". for the properties of the network driver settings.
  4.I ' installed the drivers to date of 2014 on my laptop.
  5.I did a lot of searching the web, but they do not solve my problem.

  Please help me to solve it.

• Printer lost access to internet when the router has been changed

  My HP Photosmart Plus is connected wireless to my macbook air and has worked well for years.  Our company has a wired connection, enter into a linksys/cisco router and it gives access wireless via an SSID on my mac and your printer.

  A few months ago, the router has been changed and they did something for cable and wireless.  Im guessing they're on separate subnets or something because it is another problem is that I can no longer view the others on the network who are wired, even if I could before.

  In any case, ever since this time, I noticed that some smartphones and tablets had no internet connectivity.  They were connected to the wireless network that gave my internet connection perfect Mac, their signal is just as strong, but they had no internet connectivity.  So I figured that the DNS' have not been read right by these smartphones and tablets, I manually added the DNS' using my mac and now these phones and tablets work very well.

  I guess it's the same problem with my printer now because the only thing that doesn't work is eprint and web services.  I get a message saying that the printer could not reach the server, try again.  Ive restarted the printer and it doesn't matter.  I can see it has a properly assigned IP and I can print wireless for it, but there is no internet access.

  How 'to add' those DNS IPs to the printer?

  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I understand you get a connection error message when you try to activate your printer Photosmart Plus web services.

  I've included a link to another post with measures, including screenshots, on how to set manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. As you go through the post, you will notice that it is recommended to use the Google public DNS servers when you set manual DNS servers.  Please do not worry that the screenshots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same for your Photosmart Plus printer.

  Follow these steps:

  Method 2: Follow these steps:

  
  Step 1: renew DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
  a. click Start, click run, type cmd and click OK.
  b. in the command prompt, type ipconfig / renew
  c. Close command prompt.
  d. check the result.

   

  Step 2: Try to obtain an IP address automatically
  a. open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, click on Internet Options, connections, LAN settings.

  b. uncheck all boxes except automatically detect connection settings
  c. click OK to apply the changes.
  d. check if the problem persists.

   

  Method 3: If the methods above do not help, check if the wireless card is very well and try to update the drivers on the manufacturer's Web site.

I need to load XP Prof on it (Yes...) and therefore all DELL SW disappeared (had no CD DELL) that I loaded package XP 3 Service that I plugged in Ethernet, but I also have a WLAN - but NO communication to all NETWORKS. DNS: Enter Mode: Broadcast IP routing enabled: No. WINS Proxy enabled: Ethernet adapter without Bluetooth network connection: media state: media disconnected Description: peripheral physical addr Bluetooth (Personal Area Network): Mac addr. Control Panel-> network connections displays LAN at the Connecticut 1394 network adapter (properties: peripheral works properly, driver: MS 07/01/2001!) Connection status: connected but 0 packet protocols: f. Client Microsoft NW File & Printer sharing TCP - IP - trying to hit the repair-> msg "TCP/IP not enabled for this connection") Conclusion: I think that my XP drivers are too old, or not DELL problem: I have no access to the network - minimum need drivers update for access to Internet, and then upgrade to download that/those pilot on a Non-Dell PC then CD, then install on the laptop don't know DELL HW, used Service tag to find 11 drivers, drivers resp. 75 for that I think it's a driver of 'network' - but don't know what or any other suggestion?
