Effects inactive clip on output

Problems can usually be broken down into the following categories:

(1) system
Windows 7 64-bit family

2.) assets (Audio, video and images)

12 + minute of the project containing images, audio, video and photo.

3.) project (how it is configured and Preset)

Unknown presets. I guess it's Setup is normal...?
4.) workflow (what you do and how you do it)

Put the titles on Audio 1, add in still images and some videos in video 1, 2... According to the needs. A lot of drag / move, quick keys, mainly using the timeline. Transitions, disc menus, effects, etc...

Question:
The photo frames still have effects applied to them (earthquake, old movie) and although the effect works on reading PRE/Elmts/8, it applies only during transitions of these frameworks to the next section on the output (AVI and MPEG).

Pleeeeaaase help me.
Thank you in advance.

I use 8 items Pre and I had asked for the effects to still images, in this case. And to answer your question, I used other effects and all seem to work fine.

After reading your comments, I had an idea that worked really out. I simply put a movement timed for the duration of the fixed image!
My output is AVI in order to transfer it to my laptop and create the DVD it as before on my PC randomly finds and loses its detection of my DVDR...

I will update again in a few moments, because I have not tested with the earthquake effect yet but I am sure that it will work.

Thanks to hunt.

  • Lighting effects darken Clips?

I want to animate an Omni light using Adode first for interesting effects lighting effects. I want to animate the intensity from 0 to max in a few seconds, but when I add a keyframe to 0, the rest of the clip is darker than the original source footage, if that makes sense.

I'm pretty new, so thanks for any help

I fixed it, for anyone else who has this problem, go to the 2 light and change in directional and adjust the intensity accordingly.

  • Asks the plugin noise reduction effect-made clip jerky and slow down after application?

I apply an effect - the neat video Plugin to reduce noise. for some reason when I apply the effect, playback of the clip is really slow and jerky. Why is this?

    Hi Dragonsfire,

I'm looking at the rendering time and it's extremely slow, like the clip is 30 secs long 2mins but render time estimate is like 3 hours! My laptop is not the fastest, but it is not no more ancient. Any suggestions on the reduction to make time-no understood them with a much more powerful computer!

You have met one of the intensive more rendered effects on the stage of post-production. Sorry if you think that something goes wrong. Likely, that's fine, except that it takes very long time to process images with that plugin.

Here are some tips on the neat video forum:

The real rendering for your clip speed should be around approximately 2 images per second. This value seems normal for a HD (1920 x 1080) image size and material to the average (you don't mention your hardware specifications). You can speed up a bit by disabling some of these filter options:

    • disable the very low freq, high quality options
    • some of the fixed noise reduction in some or all channels amounts (luminance / chrominance or Y/Cr/Cb) and/or ranges of frequency at 0%
    • reduction of the time filter RADIUS
    • disable the option of adaptive filtering

These measures allow the filter a little faster, but at the expense of the quality of filtration reduced. Noise reduction is usually a compromise between quality and processing speed. When you need good quality, it makes sense to give some time to the process with the top of the settings page. When that is not necessary, you can use a less accurate and more rapid filtration.

  • PCIe-6259 anallog effect of clipping (perhaps overvolting) on other analogously in the input channels?

Curious to know if the cutting/possible ovevolting on one of the analog channels would affect the performance of other similar channels. I have two systems, one where signals don't clip and the other channels are still operable. The other has some problems of cutting (which fade eventually btw) on some of the ins anlog. One with the cutting on other channels are apparently unusable while those who did no cropping entry seems to be well.

I seem to be affected by a situation in which hanging on an analog channel makes so that other analog channels do not work.

Curious to know if I can see what is expected?

    Anyone have an overview here?

This is how it is supposed to work?

We do not guarantee that all channels will work normally when you're in a State of fault/over-voltage.

Since it is a MUX architecture'ed, that the channels are analyzed in order in the amplifier of shared instrumentation and ADC.  If the instrumentation amplifier is on track for channel 0 (for example), it will take some time to recover from this error after the next channel is enabled in.  This can cause a number of incorrect following channels (possibly indicated as being on track).

Of course, we do not recommend to use this device in an error condition. When you said "analog channels does not" what do you mean?  The data on track?

    Some things that might help:

-Slower sample which allows more time to settle the instrumentation amplifier

-Skip the chain incriminated in the scan list

-Make sure that the offending channel is set to the widest range of voltage (+/-10 v)

  • Premiere Pro creates new after effects project sending clips to AE?

When you create a new composition in After Effects to clips on the timeline, Premiere Pro works perfectly well. Send clips to a new composition, the same project After Effects. All is well and good. Until I got close After Effects or Premiere. Then, when that I raise, clips in After Effects in a new composition, Premiere Pro sent something strange. Even if I reopen the project I was working on, no matter what, Premiere Pro sent clips to a new project and not send them to the one currently open. Does anyone have any kind of reasons as to why?

    Hi Instrud:

Just to clarify: when you continue to work, After Effects is open with the file to current project open AE and Premiere Pro is open with the file to current project plans open as well.  Then, when you choose "Replace with After Effects Composition" your Pro first sequence, the current project of AE closes and starts a new AE project.

All of which is managed by dynamic link and clearly something is off.

I got to one of two things:

    • Begin a conversation with Adobe support to check that everything is installed and configured correctly on your system.
    • Uninstall the two Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and then reinstall them (something Adobe support would you anyway).

  • Application and interface scrambled freeze when the effect is on the clip

    Dear users of Adobe.

Some day my application Adobe first CC began to malfunction. Maybe some Windows 7 update or update graphics card fit, because when I saw this problem on a project, all projects, I opened have been made from this time and new project as well.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM:
When I apply any effect to any clip, the user interface freezes. It works, but the display is hanged:

-I can rub on the timeline, but the timeline indicator does not move (clip playing on monitor or second full screen and rubbing noise is there)

-I can toggle effect, but the icon remains (I see on the photo that the effect is en/diss)

-Effect cannot be edited or deleted

-On some effects first freezes if I try to change the effect (kill application in the Task Manager is required)

-Program start to answer (and I can edit effects) once I reset workspace. I have to reset the workspace after each / every effect is applied to the clip. What is bulky.

-Problem exists with all the custom saved space and work with the first all those, as well with those I create new ones. Workspace so probably not corrupted.

-J' have all Windows updates and the latest version of the software of GPU (I even tried several beta different drivers from nVidia, but no change to the problem).

I have two screens on nVidia GTX770 (ASUS) where one is the program monitor, and it shows image full screen. Problem is the same if only one view is used, but while testing this I found another scenario where MISTLETOE is reset, without reset via menu option: If the focus went from the Panel to the PROGRAM Committee, GUI is reset and I can work normally. This work only if two panels are on the same group, the Panel of the hidden program because while the effect controls panel is active. If I drag the effects (on second monitor) TIME focus have no effect. I need to reset the workspace only.

Some effects become not only which do not meet, but even the hang first if I try to edit before you reset space work (or switch effect-> program). In this case, I need to kill the process monitor first (Task Manager). If I reset the right of the workspace after that I place effect on clip, first work normally until I add new effect to new (or even) a clip. If I COPY-PASTE effects from clip to clip, it works without the reset workspace.

When I close the first, more often it does not turn OFF in process list. I have to kill the process before I want to run again. Or restart the PC, of course. I know when he did not stop second doe to display full-screen does not return to the office, but stays black until I have to kill the first. First remains in memory even if I use only one view. QT32 process stops when I kill the process of creation.

During the problem done first, Adobe Media Encoder does not work. It begins its own process of QT32 and it closes properly, without worrying first is stuck or active.

I have a slight idea this problem started when I installed first CS6 and it have uninstalled after leaving Encore CS6 on the system. I think it is software problem, because lately, I is no rate of material. The system is almost 2 years old SB-E with INTEL DX79SR Board. I reinstalled windows, a few months before, but the problem started a week ago after some update or even CS6 associated. I can't say for shure. I have no install/uninstall other software PC lately.

I use the 6.5 version first. I always solved my problems by reinstalling Windows and first or by finding the solution on the forums. This time I found nothing on all internet and I cannot reinstall system before finishing long project. But this problem, it is more difficult to finish. It seems that system is slower and less sensitive, as it used to be.

Thank you very much for any advice or solution.

  • Is it possible to link together effects to multiple clips?

I have a clip that I have edited first and put in AE CS5, I have several clips that are simultaneously, but in different places in the timeline, so the effects, like Colorista and looks, I would like to apply to all clips at the same time... is possible to link all of these effects, so I only have to update all others will change? * I know I pickwhip to each property, but it is tedious and just curious to know if there is a faster way... Perhaps a phrase, or something would help!

    Thank you all!

It looks that you would benefit from the application of these effects to clips in a separate model and simply reuse this model in your main computer. This way you will also noticed faster and rendering as AE has to make them

once and can then be cached results.

If for any reason any can't you need to precompose, there is always the old but great script "CreateLinkedEffects", but beware that some properties of some plugins may be related (custom controls for most "Opacity on Time" in effects like Trapcode particular.)

  • Clip effects drag and drop?

Hello people. I am to evaluate a passage of Pro Tools at the hearing on behalf of a production company. What Miss me in hearing until now is the ability to quickly copy the parameters of effects between clips/regions. For example when a head talking reaperars now and then, I want to be able to use the same EQ setting as I did earlier. In Pro Tools, you would be typicly automate EQ for each track and the use of writing to all active parameters functions, but in effect clip hearing seems to be the way forward. Other sound editors as soundtrack and the video editors even like FCP and Avid let me drag the icon of the effect from one clip to another to apply the same effect whit the same settings. And even save settings by dragging the icon into a locker. I found no how to do that at the hearing, part of the recording of pre-defined parameters and their load after choosing the same effect on the new clip, which if the price is average for doubtful.

A quick response would be appreciated.

    Thank you

No it's not. Normally, if you want to apply the same effect to a load of separate clips, put you them on a track and apply effects is much less processor intensive to do this way, because just run an instance of the effect. By dragging clips with precision is easy, and doing like this means that you can see what is happening much more easily than if you have clips in all directions (even if it's a PITA not having not grouping, it is true). Everything works fine when you're used to it-, but it does not work the same way as PT; If your production company wants to change, then they will have to get used to a new way of working, I'm afraid.

And I can't honestly say this hearing is ideal to do this kind of things in its current version. Indeed, it may take more than a few versions before he gets to the sort of level that a lot of people think it should be to. But I am reasonably confident that he will do. So, my point of view on that at the present time, is that it is to evaluate the present issue - but only really in terms of usability and way of doing things together. It is not really fair to evaluate it based on all of the features, because they are not all there yet.

Oh and there is nothing suspicious on the effects presets backup and reuse them - that's what installation is there for, and it works fine. The beautiful thing is that you can apply multiple effects to a clip and save the heap as a preset - rather better than having to save the settings for each preset individually.

  • Copy and paste the effects of other clips

Well I have exported my first sequence and am slowly working with audio in Audition without pulling my hair.  The biggest problem I have is the lack of ability to copy effects applied to an element and another cover several clips.  I thought that if it was possible at first it should e at the hearing, but unfortunately is not.  The best I can do is save a preset... which is the only option?  And can I ask a preset saved several clips?    More than anything I want to run normalize and reverberation effects to multiple clips at a time, but geez not being is not able to do that just makes me want to do it in the first and only modify a clip in hearing one at a time if absolutely necessary.    It seems that hearing has some characteristics it could really use until it is effective for production work.  In Protools, I can use alt + shift drag to copy other clips.

I don't know if this will help the people but I was able to copy an audio EQ effect I had set as I wanted other clips of:

    1. left click once on the video clip that contains the audio effect that I applied to this audio track so that both audio and video tracks are highlighted.

    2. right click on audio (like EQ) effect with effect options

    3. left click copy

    4. then go to the video clip I want to copy to and left click once on the video clip, so it is highlighted

    5. then right click Paste edit

  • Classification of clips from many sources

I have a pretty unique "Finish" challenge that I hope that some Pro users can sound the.

I'm an editor of finishing in a press social media company. We do short recaps of the breaking news, social stories, political events, etc. A project can have clips from CNN, HBO, Getty, a feature film, a youtuber and graphic animation, all sewn together in a second of 50-80 story. Of course, these sources vary between highly ranked, professionally shot footage all the way up to intact amateur clips. I started "reverse grade" and clips of "reclassify" in an attempt to establish a consistent look for our brand, but am often questioned by the extreme dynamic range in the images we use.

The biggest challenge is our deadlines, usually in an hour or two to get the project, so I'm limited to the ranking within Premiere pro, extremely fast. I am currently using Lumetri color Panel during the major part of the correction / rank, with a curves here and a fast color corrector here.

My goal is to establish a workflow where I can:

    1. quickly push all the clips in a relatively neutral Center (think: log footage)

    2. apply a LUT overall, with a uniform result

    3 win a Webby

The problem I have is actually reach this neutral starting point, systematically all projects.

-Do I have to painstakingly fix manual 'from scratch' correction?

-Are there techniques quickly push the clips already sorted to a neutral Center?

-Are there methods recommended for reclassification already ranking footage?

    Here's my current workflow:

-Rub the sequence to correct the problems of major contrast - pulling usually contrast way back (pushing for that look of journal)

-Hustles blackheads / white to match

-Fill temperatures - usually warm new footy and cool amateur footy, still trying to hit this neutral Center

-Make a second contrast / black point pass

-If necessary, add RGB or Fast curves / three corrector chromatic way if there is always something is not sitting right

-Add an adjustment layer above all the clips, to apply LUT, add cereal

    What do you think?

Any ideas on how to improve this process (or it rewrite entirely!) is very much appreciated!

Much love to everyone on the forum!

-A quick How-To-Guide to match all the clips to a waveform standard easy 3 steps in first.

Before you begin, open vectorscope HLS, YUV vectorscope and waveform type luma

-Add the color corrector effect to clip fast

    1 view the waveform luma:

using the color corrector effect fast:

the value of point black ire 7.5

set the white point ire 90

If the black and white points are already overexploited, adjust the output level while they are defined.

Point Grey (the Middle slider), discovers the vectorscope HLS, make as small a point as possible, increase until you see elsewhere increase. a large part of the shadow will automatically match 30% on the luma of waveform. You can find this also creates a uniform slightly journal watch so it is easier to rank and later reconciliation.

    2. white balance (white balance of the click dropper) or... If you can't find a white spot, place temporarily saturation so that it fits inside HLS vectorscope. Watch the vectorscope HLS so the hue wheel defines the lightest part weighted at the Center.

There is a secret tip for any skin tone to match and thus correspond to a faster color between shots, "line of skin tone.

Temporaily set 200% Saturation easily see the line of light saturation.

Align - quick corrector color-Hue - Angle brighest vectorscope HLS (no YUV) line between where the red and yellow line would be in the vectorscope YUV (around 11:00 o clock). It's the angle of the overall hue to the skin tone.

    3. adjust color saturation fast correctior to 90% of edge vectorscope downtown YUV (100% is in contact with sides) so all the clips have the same saturation.

Now you have perfectly matched to black point, white point, contrast, gamma, saturation, tint to like 10 seconds per video.  And the best part is, they are all easily dimmable.

    a tip:

don't forget to keep an eye on your histogram for any sharp peaks, it means your footage is probably 8 bit and you might introduce quantization errors in your grade.
