El capitan and photoshop
does anyone know if El Capitan will be the effect on an older version of Photoshop cs6. Don't want to update until I know for sure. Thank you
What version of Photoshop you ask about? Which version do you want to update?
I know that PS CS3 works well with El Capitan. There may be certain actions that do not work, but I don't use them so can't comment on all aspects of CS3.

CS5 can work on El Capitan, but the upgrade may have damaged your installation, then you may need to reinstall CS5.
Before we do this, you need to change your security settings for the installation. CS5 is considered to be an 'unsigned application.

Please make sure that you double-click on the text layer in the layer panel not the name of the layer. With the text, it can be difficult if the name is too long. You can also right-click on the text layer in the Panel and bring up the contextual menu and select 'blending Options '.

I've read about problems with Illustrator and photoshop on EL Capitan, but these seem to be in October 2015. She improved at all? I need to upgrade that I am running an old OS v but I need to run CS5. Can not afford to go to CC. I have a Macbook Pro.
CS5 and 10.11 are not supported and will never be supported by Adobe or Apple.
However it works for some, more actually, but not all. There are sporadic problems with Illustrator, Photoshop seems to be the best. Do not expect an improvement and keep in mind that anyone from Adobe, Apple or anywhere else will fix it.
Do a clean install

El Capitan and CS4 Photoshop / Illustrator CS4 / Excel 2008
I held off upgrading to El Capitan and currently still use Yosemite on a MBPro. Anyone using El Capitan on MBPro with:
Photoshop CS4
Illustrator CS4
Excel 2008
These are my main apps that I'm worried about compatibility with upgrade. I don't want to upgrade to Adobe and Microsoft versions of subscription based programs - ones I have do the work I just need very well.
Other more minor things that I use are:

There is no guarantee anyone, that it will work and if you find it does not work for you no one will solve this problem, never.
in order to maximize the possibility that it will work, I suggest a clean install with nothing that can be present to interfere.

Back up your computer with Time Machine
do a clean install of the OS 10.11.3
Since your administrative account to install CS4 and run photoshop
install JAVA 2015 for Mac

I just installed Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) and now can't print from Photoshop CS5. All other software installed, including 4 of Lightroom, has not printing problems. Contacted Apple and they said that it is a problem for Adobe.

When you reinstall CS5, you start to 12.0 there's a 12.0.4 update that includes bug fixes.
You need to directly download this update and before you install, go into osx security & privacy > general tab and temporarily allow app installs anywhere.

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

CC with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC - printing problems
I have a printer Canon Pixma Pro 100. All of a sudden I have printing problems I've ever had before. It seems since the last update. If I want to use the paper 4 x 6 in the Lightroom print Module, the printer will print the 4 x 6. If I want to print 4 x 6 paper 8 x 10, it prints 4 x 6 but much info on the image of the cultures. If I print an 8 x 10, etc, the same issue of culture exists.
Now for a dirty word. If I print off On1 / 10.5 I have zero printing problems. If I print on any program be it word processing, image processing software, I have no problem.
I only get these problems when printing out CC Lightroom or Photoshop CC. Quite honestly, I have the latest version of items, but he tried not to frustration.
I went on Canon's site and they have a new driver for El Capitan and say that Apple should have loaded in their updates. I did all the updates. My Canon firmware is up-to-date.
I reloaded even Adobe software and the same problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Canon's RAW 80 d and Photoshop CS6 files
I try to open RAW files with my new 80 d on Lightroom CS5 and Photoshop CS6. I have Camera RAW 9.1.1. What is the more up-to-date for CS6 version. I have to buy Adobe CC in order to use this unit with this Adobe products. Would mean that I have to buy new versions of Lightroom and Photoshop?

80 d Canon raw files are not accessible in Photoshop CS6, because they are supported in Camera raw 9.5 and Lightroom 6.5/CC2015.5
You can upgrade or use free Adobe DNG Converter.

You have posted in the forum rather than Photoshop or first hearing, but...
... I'm afraid, I can tell you that no, you can't buy the current versions of Premiere Pro or Photoshop. They are only available through the subscription/membership model.
For the time being, you can always buy CS6 much older versions (you ring to Service customer rather than just buy online however). However, you should know that this software is no longer being developed and people start to run into problems with the new OS as El Capitan and Windows 10.

Since I updated to 16 FF, I see more the option to send an e-mail link when I right-click although it still appear under file also I noticed that my speed dial extension does not properly with 16 FF.

HP envy 4500: printing from my camera
When I go to the hp eprint app and select the photos tab (I want to print a photo BC.) -I can see the most recent photo (which is the one I want to print) showing in camera roll, but when I click on the camera roll it isn't here. any ideas? Thank you
