• iPhoto 1.2 does not work with El Capitan and 'Help' pages ignored by Apple!

  Update to Apple iPhoto with El Capitan on a MacBook Pro is a disaster: it is a completely new version with NO INSTRUCTIONS! It is impossible to edit uploaded photos, events seems to have totally disappeared and the news of 'Help' are a joke. Also, Apple do not answer questions, such as this, put online.

  It must be a solution or inline instruction manual, but where is it please!  Thank you very much!

  Photos for Mac is not an iPhoto update, it is a completely different application.  You open iPhoto libraries in Photos, but the photo library will turn it into albums iPhoto events, because there is no events.  Photos creates rather Moments based on the date and place, and they are created automatically.

  You can continue to use iPhoto.  9.6.1 iPhoto works well on El Capitan.

  The EL Capitan upgrade uninstall not iPhoto. Open the Applications folder and drag iPhoto to the dock.  If the icon is blocked, try updating to iPhoto 9.6.1:

• How to go from LOV where clause Page CO params

  I have an OFA Page for which I have defined a CO.
  
  I also have a LOV for which I have two parameters in where clause.
  
  Now my requirement is to pass the two values in the where clause of LOV to the co of the corresponding page parameters.
  
  Anyone can guide me please in implementing this requirement.

  as gyan, suggested trying attching a new controller of lov or extend its existing controller.

  In the CO page
  store the parameter which must be transmitted to lov in pageContext.putSessionValue (paramName, paramValue)

  In the Lov CO page, processrequest
  retrieve the stored values using pageContext.getSessionValue (paramName)

• El Capitan - where is the download status bar?

  Hello

  I just bought a MacBook Air. It runs on the last El Capitan.

  Now, I wanted to create a bootable or installation disc.

  So, I went to the App Store to download El Capitan. I click on the 'GET' button and it changed to 'download '. It has been like this for 2 hours and I don't know if it is loading or blocked... it is because there is no download status to show the download progress...

  Can any kind soul help me with this...

  Check the Dock or Launchpad. It shows usually the with a process bar.

• I create a teaching workbook. How can I view my document as a layout of the book so I can see where the pages will be fit together

  I'm running on the latest version of the Pages on my Macbook. I'm working on a book project and I would like to see the layout as if it were a book laid flat. Currently I can only see one at a time online on the left side of the page using the "thumbnail".

  Does anyone know how to use the "thumnails page" but for two pages to be side by side?

  No version of Pages v5 supports the layout book (pages in front). Your options are:

  1. Export to PDF and discovers preview as 2-pages to the top.
  2. Export to Word docx and open in the free LibreOffice (writer), including a book view icon in the status bar below.
  3. Export the document to Pages ' 09, then open in Pages ' 09 v4.3 and see to 2-up.

• Upgrade to El Capitan - where are my pictures

  I upgraded from the Mavericks to El Capitan, and now most of my pictures have disappeared (or maybe I just can't find the).  "iPhoto" is disappeared from the dock and replaced with "Photos".  I found iPhoto in the Applications folder and ran - I received a message that I had to run "iPhoto Library of valuation."  I did it.  My photos are still not visible in 'Photos' (nor can I find them anywhere in the Finder).   I ran iPhoto and now I get a message that I have an obsolete version of iPhoto and I need to get a newer version of the App Store.  I go to the App Store and do not iPhoto.

  Help!   I had tons of photos that I wouldn't lose.

  You can create the Easter egg as a page that is displayed before the index page as mentioned in this post on the forum. Alternatively, you can add javascript to recognize the keys CTRL + SHIFT and click on and then allow the user to enter the site. You can add Javascript in HTML code to the head section of the page.

  Hello! I bought a new MacPro and gave my old MacBook Air to my boyfriend. Before I install the new OS El Capitan and now pages, keynote, and IMovie are gone! I read somewhere that these programs are tied to the computer, not the system, and that we must go to the Apple Store and donwnload even in the case where you were the original owner, who bought the machine. But is not so simple, because it is new to Mac and it's his first. Is there a way for him to download applications without having to pay 20 dollars each?

  These applications are not part of Mac OS X and any new purchase of the machine includes them.

  The machine that you gave away must buy their own version of apps.

• Pages will not withinEl Capitan pdf export

  After moving reluctantly to El Capitan Yosemite, Apple Pages will not export documents to pdf format more. A valuable feature when sending attachments such as invoices.

  Is there a work around?

  Not really a workaround solution, but a better way, that I always use:

  Select all in a complete document,

  then in preview-> file-> print select the PDF icon at the bottom left, click the arrow and select "Save as PDF".

  Settings/Safari and clear the history and data from the Web site.

  I used Pages ' 09, v. 4.3 on merge to corporate clients of lists of selected contacts.  Because I downloaded El Capitan and receipt Pages updated, I can't merge with Pages ' 09.  Is there anything I can do as soon as possible because I have a letter to be released immediately.

  When you try to use the Pages ' 09 v4.3, ensure that it is the only version of Pages that is currently running. All Pages v5 releases do not natively mail/Contact/data merge support. On a Mac with the two versions of installed Pages, Pages v5.6.2 will be the default launch app Pages, except for Pages ' 09 v4.3 is already running.

  All document Pages ' 09, with features not supported in the v5.6.2, Pages and that you authorize to be converted to the format of document Pages v5, will lose these features not supported (for example of merge fields). Export the document back to Pages ' 09 format does not restore the lost features.

  Personally, I don't use a Pages ' 09 v4.3 for any form of merger activity, but I thought some of the fusion panels, when I was testing, was different, or were incomplete after upgrade to El Capitan.
