Mail application will not keep email deleted out of my Inbox
The Mail app will not keep email deleted out of my Inbox. I remove a bunch of old email, and then it reappears in my Inbox, next time I open the Mail application. This happens in the Mail application on all my devices: mobile phone of Nokia Surface, computer,. The web version (Outlook.com) works correctly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Mail app Ant it does not solve the problem.
Hello
This could be a problem with the e-mail application on the computer that could request an update.
You permanently delete emails or they are stored in the folder to be deleted?
If the mails that remove you are not important, I suggest trying to permanently delete and check if you still find in the Inbox when you start Mail app next time.
In mail application Windows 8 to remove the mass once emails at a time, you must hold down the ctrl key and right click on the email you want to delete. Move delete the folder and delete the emails from here too. Close the application and restart it to see if it returns back. If so, you can proceed with the following methods:
Method 1:
Download and run the troubleshooter modern UI App and check. Check out the link:

Why has my email deleted itself?
I turned on my computer and all my email went. Nothing comes in my Inbox, sent, or deleted files. I have only one email I've had in a different folder. That's happened?
My roadrunner email is sent to outlook express.
Ok. It is a POP3 account.
Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.
To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.
Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.
Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.
First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.
If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.
If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

I have Wdws XP and using outlook Express.
Work done recently on my computer, and now all the old emails that I had deleted in early 2010 are coming into my Inbox, (over 2500). I guess it is the overload that stops at the email, so I can't receive new messages.
Thases e-mails had been permanently deleted, supposedly. From which they come, and how can I fix it?
You had a frame that says "leave a copy of messages on the server. There is another setting that says "remove when deleting server ', but it was not selected.
Outlook Express knows the messages that he has already recovered, but this information is a lost if you, for example, recreate your e-mail account. Then all messages go down again if they were left on the server.
If the extraction has ceased, it might be because...
one) you forced by cancellation or may be disconnected from the internet (in which case there are more to come), or
(b) he finished, in which case old emails cannot be retrieved again (unless you are replicating what just happened), all mail must be picked up
To avoid what is happening in the future...
(a) according to the State of the parameters mentioned above, you may need to delete messages via webmail, and/or
(b) to change the settings
To change the settings...
- Click on tools
- Click on accounts...
- Click on the Mail tab
- Highlight (click) your e-mail account and then click on the properties button
- Click the Advanced tab
3 background settings are what control the things...
"Leave a copy of messages on the server.
"Remove from server after x days.
"Remove the server after deleting in" deleted items "
Adjust them as see fit you.

I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 and when I try to remove items in the Outbox which, for one reason or another, has not sent my computer keeps trying to send them. I send 1 of 4 at the bottom of my screen. How can I get rid of emails so that my computer recongizes that they left and stops trying to send them. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Check first to work offline and then open the Outbox and delete messages.

How to recover email deleted in Windows Mail?
I have windows vista with windows mail & want outlook express to come back! I know that this is not possible then where in the world should I click to retrieve an e-mail that I accidentally deleted. Outlook Express has been so simple because it displays all the options to the left of all the emails in the Inbox and you could simply click deleted messages. Sometimes change is not good. Help please!
WinMail and OE are almost identical in this regard. View | Page layout | List of folders. Check it out.

Hello and welcome to the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have checked our Forum.
AFAIK, you must configure your IMAP e-mail account if you wish to proceed with their removal on the phone when they are deleted to your PC. If you are unsure about the IMAP settings, I suggest you contact your e-mail provider, who should be able to give the right settings.

Here are the instructions to change the settings for messaging on Facebook.
Top-right, to the right of your screen name, you will see a padlock, click it. A drop down menu appears, at the bottom of the drop-down list click additional settings.
