Email IMAP are not deleted on the server
I searched and found a few similar questions, but no real resolution. Just setup my Backflip with multiple IMAP e-mail accounts. In each case, if I delete an E-mail from the phone and then check with a client on the Office some time later, the emails that I deleted from the phone appear on the desktop and are still on the IMAP server. I also have a sync Corporate account by looking at an Exchange Server and works fine, Emails that is removed from the phone light up on the server. Please notify. Email management/removal is a major requirement of my phone.

You can try the K9 email client. In some cases it runs better then the stock email app.

Asked me to take over the COMPUTER Department of a small Christian school. They are running SBS 2003. They bought licences for additional client access in 2004, but they are not loaded to the server and they can't find the hard copy of the licenses to load them in. Also, they purhcased of XP Pro and Office 2003 licenses (I have the disks and keys to install but do not know how many licenses they own) and they are not either of the paper copy of these licenses. Is there a way to contact Microsoft to get the licenses? Any help would be appreciated.

I just figured this out...
I called the 1-866-230-0560 Option 3 Volume licenses and talked to someone who searched under the name of the school in order to locate licenses. It is even searched under our zip code and found other licenses that have been purchased by the school where the dealer abbreviated the name of the school.
I hope that this is useful information to others in the same situation.

Try to refresh the web server and run the AUSST with cool switch. In addition, please make sure that you have enough disk space available in the location of the server.

Unable to send emails, SMPT can not connect to the server
I use the latest version of the EL CAPTAIN 10.11.04, just updated software, and I can not send my emails is to show only SMTP error can not connect to the server.
I can receive emails, but cannot send emails. I deleted the account and reinstalled it once again changed the SMTP Port 25, 465, 993 trying all of them.
Please advice, or guide me what I am doing wrong, or what I can do to fix this error.
Please take each of the following steps that you have already tried, tests after each of them. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
In the Mail menu bar, select
▹ Connection Doctor window
In the window that opens, double-click on behalf of SMTP (outgoing mail) problem. it. another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. Choose the one that you clicked.
Select the Advanced tab in the settings for the account and check the box marked
Automatically detect and maintain the account settings

If there is more than one account of the problem, repeat. Close the window and save the changes.
Step 2
Open again the list of SMTP servers. Note the problem server settings, then click the sign button less to delete and confirm. Click on the sign more and recreate the account with the same settings.
If you use Gmail, remove the account completely in the preferences panel accounts Internet and re-create it. The option "detect and maintain" must be selected in advanced settings for the incoming mail account.

Step 3

Step 4

There should be an option somewhere on the page to "allow applications that are less safe." Enable this option and save the change. Note: I don't use Gmail and I have not tested this solution myself. If it does not, either make you on Google user forums for help, stop trying to use Gmail with the e-mail, or just stop using Gmail altogether (strongly recommended).
The mail server can use a form low, obsolete encryption for secure communications with customers. Recent versions of Mac OS X has changed the behavior of Mail and other applications so that they no longer tolerate low security.
Log on to the e-mail account on the website and see if there is a security setting, you can change. I can't be more specific. Refer to the documentation of the service provider.
If there is no adjustment, convince the upgrade of server securityserver administrator. He or she must do it anyway. Low security affects all customers, not only Mac users.
Otherwise, you have all the right options to continue to use Mail with the service. You can disable SSL in the Advanced account settings, but that is very dangerous and may not work at all.
You might be able to get a more flexible mail client, such as "Thunderbird", to accept the low security, or perhaps you can access the account via webmail.
Ideally, you should switch to a provider of postal services better. You would not have this problem with a well-run service. The risk of weak SSL are known for a long time, and to competent server administrators have already taken the simple steps are sufficient to avoid these risks.

Project files not deleted from the server

Reminder: whenever I delete a topic to the editor and the Publisher a project to our server, this topic htm file is not deleted. I started calling them 'ghost' files because they should be dead and buried. Some users access these files after a direct URL where providing outdated information. They are not normally appear in the results of search of the application but the hyperlinks to their work until the file is deleted.
I tried different publishing options for their removal. Check to delete the files and republish the entire project. The only way I found to get rid of them is to remove the file from the server manually. Another option is to remove the project from the server, and then republish it.
Can question: Anyone explain what is happening and if there is anything I can to make sure that they are automatically deleted when publishing.

Records related to the deleted email accounts are not deleted.
Thunderbird (currently 24.6.0, Windows) current account settings window shows the folders the and RSS for RSS. I used to have 2 email accounts, but a long time ago I stopped using Thunderbird for them. When I removed the using the button 'delete account '. They were (and are) no longer appear.

When you transfer large files of network, all other requests are not sent to the server
In our application, we are facing a weird scenario where we try to download a huge file(600+ MB) of the network, all other requests (AJAX) are getting blocked. But when the same file is downloaded from the local location (drive E) so that everything works fine.
How do you download the file via the network?
If you want to solve the bandwidth? and the nets where a process takes previous on the other, you will have to troubleshoot the QoS of the network on what see you.

I removed all the emails from the server and archivated them locally. A few days later, I reinstalled my windows, but I forgot to save the profile Thunderbird.
I have an old backup, but whenever I try to use it, it doesn't (of course) delete all emails that do not exist on the server. Is it possible to avoid this automated sync or remove before opening the profile?
Looks like you are using an Imap account.
If you just try to save emails residing in mbox files (mbox files don't have any extension)Make sure Thunderbird is closed before doing anything in the profile folder.
If you are familiar with the profile folder, you can copy paste the mbox files (without extension) in the account of 'Local folders' which is located in the folder "mail".
and then restart Thunderbird. the indexing file (.msf) will automatically be created.OR
Try to import them using a tool in "local folders".

Why my emails are not deleted the gmail server when I remove it from my Inbox?
I use POP on Thunderbird version 31.7.0. I put the box "Leave Messages on server" and box "until I delete them. (Some articles say that the message is "until I have delete or move them from the Inbox" but my option just says "until I delete them".) It is perhaps a matter of version). When I delete a message from my Inbox, it is NOT deleted from the gmail Server inbox. This means that I have to delete them in two places, which is a pain, and I will probably try a different e-mail program if I can't solve this problem. Can you please help me in PLAIN English. I read the email in Thunderbird and then deleted. I compacted files. Then, I went into the Inbox, gmail and up-to-date, but email is still there. I did all the steps in the correct order or is there something else I'm missing.

If you want to backup files individual mail, you don't need to save the *.msf files. They are just the index files and contain no mail. They are rebuild automatically when you start Thunderbird.

If your mail acted as you claim in the past then it has set up a POP account and not IMAP. POP and IMAP are email standards and work of the same thing all the time. No e-mail client changes which.
It is possible to have IMAP email account and configure the client as POP with some providers.
Local folders is a standard account in all installations of Thunderbird. -
I use Thunderbird 24.4.0 to download my mail via the POP3 service. My messages are deleted on the server when I erase it in Thunderbird. I think the problem might be the option "when I delete them. That tells Thunderbird to reach out and the cops messages on the server when you delete them in Thunderbird. Instead, check the box to leave messages on the server and clear the check boxes under that.
