Embed videos in mp4 slide publish

Hello

Is it possible to publish a draft of 6 Captivate with video slide into one main mp4 file? I need to have the video (flv) blade embedded in the main video file rather than on external files. In my published mp4 video do not show videos of the slide. Instead, there is an indicator "connection error" where the video is supposed to be.

Best regards

Jan

    Hi all!

I use Adobe InDesign and tools DPS to build an application.

I need to be able to embed a video in one of two ways and runnning in some problems on YouTube. I know how to integrate video directly into the document for example by pasting the following text:

    " < iframe width ="560"height ="315"src =" http://www.YouTube.com/embed/I9_SR02HQIE "frameborder ="0"allowfullscreen > < / iframe > "

It works if I want just the video directly on the page, but I really want is a button that says 'Watch Video' and when the user clicks, opens YouTube video and playes, preferreably full screen or lightbox style?

Otherwise, I would like to embed the YouTube video within a floating framework. So, here's what I have:

    screenshot.jpg

I have the content I want that the user must be able to be drag/push upward and inside, is embedded video youtube using the embed above code. However, when you select the frame of the placement, coaching "Scrollable" is grayed out. If I take the video, the floating framework is available.    -_-

Can anyone help me please with either, or both of these solutions? You will be still my hero!

    Thank you.

Create a State two MSO. Put the Youtube video in the second State first State a block empty. Have a button go to State 2.

Forget to put in a scrolling frame.

  • Pause slide with embed videos

Hello users of the Adobe Forum.

I have been using Adobe Captivate for a few months now, but I came across a problem that I can't solve by myself, so I hope I can find an overview here.

I am currently using 8 Captivate and try to get my embed videos work properly. I have the video embedded Vimeo works pretty well, but I wonder if there is a way to pause the slide until the video itself arrives at the end I have considered adding a button in the user can proceed to the next slide manually when they are done or just do the slide exactly the length of the video duration He goes to the next slide automatically when it's done, but ideally, I want the user to be able freely to pause and play the video embed and only when the video ends engages the Captivate project to the next slide.

I would really appreciate the help, thank you for your time.

    Hello

This one is difficult. The thing is, your video is hosted on Vimeo. Not that this is a bad thing, but it's a variable into the mix. If you downloaded the video and added in Captivate as a video of the event, you could time for the 'rest of Slide' and the slide should simply stay in view until the finished video game. But coming from Vimeo, there is no way that I am aware of what the end of the video could be detected.

You can try the slide timing, but the problem here is that you have no guarantee of the actual time it takes for the video to play. On slower connections, video can buffer for an indefinite period before the game starts or starts again.

If that's the path, on that you have to stay, I guess that the approach "to insert a button" is probably the best you can do.

  • Problem adding video to Captivate slide

    Hello

I'm having a problem adding a video file FLV to Captivate. Basically, after that I have published on a SWF file, the video does not appear on the slide at all. It's just empty.

After searching for a bit, I found that the file FLV MUST include * metadata *.

However, I added medatada with VLC Media Player, and it still shows the same behavior. There's a certain * amount * metadata? Is there a * type * of metadata without which the video not displayed?

Adobe help thread talking about what we call the ' Kit Flash video '-which is a stand-alone product or one extension of another product? Is it free? Are there any other free alternatives?

    I'm just very confused.

    Thank you!

I ended up answering my own question. But just in case this helps someone else, I'll post my solution.

Essentially, I just re-created the video in MP4 format. Then I used MetaZ (for Mac) to write metadata in the video. Finally, I imported the video as an object and when I posted the video, Captivate it transmutes to the FLV format needed.

The video is now displayed correctly.

I loaded the video file in gspot which tells me that the video has 59,923 fps and no field.

HDR-CX240... How can I get the camera to record all FILES VIDEO in MP4 format. Is this possible? I can't find how to change what default file to save to. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi dang201,

There is no option to save the video in mp4 format only. You can check on the MProot folder on your memory card for mp4 files. The. MTS files are normally saved in another folder called flow.

    ==================================
Conversion to the. Before importing WMV format
in Movie Maker would be the best bet.

There are to many converters available on the net...
some for free, some retailers, some better than others...
the following freeware is an example that
    works fine for me.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Freemake Free Video Converter (freeware)
    http://www.Freemake.com/free_video_converter/
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8)
(* Choose custom installation and carefully)
read * all * the installation screens... There may be some
items you want to unmark *)

If a green install button appears when you launch
Freemake... you can ignore it and it should go away
    When you import files.

To download the full version instead of use the
    Web Installer, see the following:

    Freemake Apps - off-line version
    http://www.Freemake.com/offline/offline_all/
(If you want to install freeware Freemake
on your PC without Internet connection,.
    Download these files)

When you have installed Freemake... Open Freemake
and drag and drop your video files on the main screen.

Or... Click left on the video button and navigate to the
your video files are saved in the folder.

Select (highlight) the files you want to import into
Freemake and left, click on the button 'open '.

When video files are imported into Freemake,
On the left, click the WMV icon at the bottom of the screen.

The 'WMV output settings' screen opens.

Choose a folder ' save in ', so you can find the
    converted files.

On the left, click the "Convert" button and wait for the files
    to convert.

    Good luck...

  • The video file can be published to the specified location. Check that the publishing location is still available, that there is enough free space on the disk, and then republish the movie again.

It happened once before, but it somehow went away after I restarted my laptop. I restarted my laptop, this time, but it has not worked.

OK, so I just finished put a video together. It consists of a Hypercam 2 record (which means it's a .avi file), a PNG image, text and a song (which is a WMA file).

    ~*~

    I save the file, and then click Publish Movie. Everything goes well until the last step where the video is actually published. The window made a break for a while before you receive the following message;

    ~*~

"Cannot complete the movie publish .

The video file cannot be published to the specified location. "Check that the publishing location is still available, that there is enough free space on the disk and then republish the movie again."

  • Why doesn't my realplayer download the video in mp4 format

Why realplayer does download that videos in mp4 instead of flv formats please?

I'm having exactly the same problem with mine, I used real player/download from windows 98 and since Ive had on Win 7 Ultimate, it works fine, it downloads in MP4 or FLV format (depending on the video) until about a week ago. I downloaded videos on You Tube for some reason, they are all uploaded in MP4, and when I went to watch later, (I think it was actually VLC who told me) but it says that 2 of them had no video in them and just like you, Real player will not play them, VLC will be no more , or FLV player, Windows Media, DivX or QuickTime will not... So im starting to think that maybe it's a problem to You Tube?

  • The point on the compatibility of the browser with HTML5 video and mp4s?

I currently have a mp4 video on my site, and the video is currently hosted by YouTube. But I would like to move it to our web server using the HTML5 video element. So far, pretty simple:

    < div id = "videodiv" >

    < src = "videos/video my_video.mp4" control width = '100% ' > < / video > "

    < / div >

What I read, I was ready to provide alternative (webm and ogg) formats, but I tested it with Firefox, Chrome and IE10, and they seem to all work. I do not have to provide three versions of the video, because it is a precursor to a 8 added more videos to our Web site. The browser world all got on board with mp4 now, or do I always have to provide alternatives?

    Thank you

If you don't see this, you are using a

outdated browser that does not support

    the video tag.

All modern browsers now support MP4.  Not so a few years ago. So we used relief WEBM and OGG.

  • Los videos in mp4 y webm without is pueden ver

Tengo una pagina con take Muse en los estan video in mp4 y webm. The Rukia Hoy y no puedo ver los videos. Y of the video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failednor because the format is not taken in charge. Pero hayn video UN if themselves can see. Only United Nations video to ve. Trabajo estoy muy frustrado meses después

This seems to be a syntax error.

Let me explain by using either of the concerned page

    http://93.188.167.233/v2.html

In this page the mp4 files that you used are V160.mp4 and if you observe so you will find that the file on the server name is v160.mp4 (V is in lowercase)

Because of this incompatibility browser gives this error.

For an example if you go to http://93.188.167.233/assets/v160.mp4 video will play, but if you go to http://93.188.167.233/assets/V160.mp4 video will not play.

To solve the issue go to the properties panel of each affected widget and make sure that file names are lowercase. Same is the case with .webm files.
