  • Impossible to integrate YouTube videos after the update.

I'm unable to integrate YouTube videos after the patch v27. I can copy the embed code on YouTube, go to the object/Insert HTML and paste the code. The code is there, but all I get is a white/white box and will not play the video. I tried fidding with the AutoPlay settings (power) in the superposition of the Web Panel without a change in behavior. I messed around with this all day yesterday, essentially losing a whole day of productivity, and I am on deadline. I resorted to a workaround where I create a hyperlink to the YouTube page that opens in the in-app browser iPad. It works, but my client is not happy about it. I noticed that this has been a problem in the first days after an update previous (specifically v25). This would be a recurring problem?

    Update:

Well, it's strange. Just for fun, I tried something different and it works. On the YouTube website, I right click on the actual video. In the drop-down menu context menu, there is an option to Copy the Embed Code. I tried and then glued directly in my setting in InDesign page (jumped stage the object/Insert HTML). A brand new box appeared with a video that has updated and worked perfectly. The actual code is different from what I've seen before:

It is not in the documentation of DPS, but it works and it's a relief. I hope this helps other peope who could get in trouble.

  • integrate YouTube video

    Hello

I tried to embed a video on a very basic html page and it does not work. I tried with two different videos and followed the instructions to the letter on the youtube site, but also by looking at the topic on google... in any case nothing happens at all. He shows me a gray window in preview within dreamweaver, but when I try to post it on the browser (explore or Firefox which is my usual browser), it shows me a blank page. No error message. Just nothing.

    What Miss me?

My page is actually a blank page with just the code pasted into the body of the code.

    Help please!

    Thank you

    Claire.

Videos YouTube can not found locally, depending on the settings of your browser. Try to download to a location on your server to see if it is the case of the test.

Even if you pasted the exact, correct, code given by Youtube, you may have pasted in the wrong location, or could cause a problem in your code browsers to choke. Through the validator to http://validator.w3.org to your page will give you a list of all the problems in your html code.

If you clean them and you're still having problems, post here a link to your test page so that we can take a closer look.

  • Impossible to incorporate and view YouTube videos to Muse: 'plugin blocked. "

Hello! I'm unable to embed YouTube videos on my site of Muse. Whenever I have paste either YouTube embed code in an HTML object or try to use the YouTube widget, Muse shows a black box instead of the object with the "Plug-in Blocked" notification, and I'm unable to view the content. I can embed Vimeo videos very well, but I'd really like the ability to integrate YouTube videos as well.

Does anyone know why Muse blocking me the integration of YouTube videos? This seems to be a very odd behavior, and I found no other discussions on the forum regarding this same issue.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Great idea! I never use Safari, Chrome only. But when I tried to view the video in Safari, I discovered my Flash Player youtube plugin was out of date. I installed the latest version of Flash Player and that fixed the problem! The YouTube widget now works normally w / muse and I also see embedded YouTube videos. Please point me in the right direction. I never thought to solve this problem. You Rock!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones YouTube videos do not play/Adobe Player

I have a BB Torch 9810 and I tried to play YouTube videos and it says I need to update my Adobe Flash Player but when I arrived on the site of Adobe Player it says that the update is not supported by my "operating system or browser." What should I do?

First, very few phones that support Adobe Flash, at least you're in good company.  If you go to the mobile site of youtube, you should be able to view videos.  It is found by typing m.youtube.com on your phone's browser.

I hope that clears things up for you.

Hi all. I'm trying to integrate a Youtube video link in my project. It does not work... any suggestions? I use RoboHelp 6

    Hello again Little Helper

Finally, I sorted out what probably happens to you with the code. RoboHelp 6 is "being useful" and convert the equivalent of ampersand HTML entity: &. This causes a problem because YouTube is not understand the code.

I managed to overcome it using just a smidge of JavaScript. See if the code here can be copied and pasted to make things work on your end.

    Hope this helps... Rick

If you have permission to download the specific file from Youtube, and settings allow the download of this file in particular, use a download Youtube app to download the file on the Mac, (search google for applications) then drag and drop the file on a slide.

  • Set up vimeo or youtube video in interactive PDF InDesign CC

    Hello!

I've read several articles about it but can't find a way to solve this problem:

, I have created an interactive PDF using InDesign CC and I would like to embed vimeo and youtube videos to play directly in the file. When I insert the URL does not work because it starts by https:// (not http://). Deletion of obviously the doe "s" does not solve the problem because he says it's not compatible with Flash Player.

Is there anyway that I can fix this?

I decided to create an interactive PDF only because I wanted to be able to integrate online videos!

You can not. Several years ago YouTube was a Flash API for direct playback of video integrated inside a SWF file of parent (the only way to do it in a PDF file), but it also allowed the population to ignore advertising, so they we closed. The current API only supports the incorporation of HTML for web pages.

The URL 'embed' to sites like YouTube and Vimeo is a link to their web page, not the video file itself (legally you can't link directly to the video stream so I will not explain how it could be done). Acrobat video player will not accept a URL that points to the video file or a stream RTMP connector, that's why the URL must end with a valid extension like ".mp4."

    The only options are:

    1. Stir all of the video file in the PDF - assuming you have a copy, and have the right to publish it. Easier to do, but the size of the file can be a problem.
    2. Host the video file on your own website and put the HTTP link in the annotation dialog box (simple but anyone can download a copy, is not safe).
    3. Listen to the file using Adobe Media Server (course but very expensive).
  • Issues of Gallery YouTube video

    Hello

    (1) can integrate you only together Youtube channels, or is it possible to incorporate several specific Youtube videos of multiple channels on the same page?

    (2) can add you text and images to the page in more Youtube videos?

    In response to questions:

    (1) If you are referring to add several widget youtube on page then probably you can do, but if you want the same widget to display different videos is not possible.

    (2) you can add any content to the page with the video widget, if you want to add text to the widget itself, then we cannot do this directly unless you use any other widget such as composition to display youtube with text options.

    Thank you

Can you please confirm Captivate 7 exact version (by going to help > about Adobe Captivate)?

Have you tried to get an overview in the Web browser after inserting the interaction of YouTube in your project?

You can also download the YouTube video to your local computer and then insert it into Captivate by going to the video > video insert option in the menu bar.

  • Speakers are disabled on YouTube videos.

Speakers are disabled on YouTube videos.

    Nope.
Their code is screwed and he "cuts" of each page.

Place the cursor on the "speaker" icon and a volume slider appears to the right. Manually adjust. You will need to do until Google gets their act together and figures they did on YouTube.

  • Incorporation of Youtube video

I want to integrate a youtube video on my web site. The code as it appears on the youtube site is:

    " < object width ="445"height ="364"> < param name ="movie"value =" http://www.YouTube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en_US & FS = 1 & rel = 0 & Border = 1 "> < / param > < param name ="allowFullScreen"value ="true"> < / param > < param name ="allowscriptaccess"value ="always"> < / param > < embed src = ' http://www.YouTube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en_US & FS = 1 & rel = 0 & Border = 1 "type =" application/x-shockwave-flash"allowscriptaccess ="always"allowfullscreen ="true"width ="445"height ="364"> < / embed > < / object > "

I inserted this code on my page, and when I open the page in Dreamweaver CS3, I get a message "this page contains object tags that may not work properly in the latest versions of internet explore.» To correct this problem, you can convert these browsers scripts tags. Want you want Dreamweaver to convert these tags for you?

If I say YES, the code becomes:
    < script type = "text/javascript" >
    AC_AX_RunContent ('width', ' 280 ', 'height', '234',' src','http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1', 'type', ' application/x-shockwave-flash', 'allowscriptaccess', 'always', 'allowfullscreen', 'true', 'film','http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & co lor2 = 0 x 999999 & border = 1'); //end AC code
    < /script > < noscript > < object width = "280" height = "234" >
    " < param name ="movie"value =" http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1 "> < / param > < param name ="allowFullScreen"value ="true"> < / param > < param name ="allowscriptaccess"value ="always"> < / param > < embed src = ' http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1 "type =" application/x-shockwave-flash"allowscriptaccess ="always"allowfullscreen ="true"width ="280"height ="234"> < / embed > < / object > < / noscript > "

If I say YES or NO, I can see the videos with Firefox, but I can't see the videos on the page with Internet Explorer.

Can someone help me solve this problem.

    Thank you all

You don't need ActiveX JavaScript to play videos from YouTube.  Simply paste the YouTube code directly in DW.  Or if you want your code validated, first run your code YouTube with this code validifyer online.

    http://validifier.com/

Next time, let not DW do something for your YouTube code.

You can copy & paste this table into your page. It's valid Code and it works in FF, IE and Safari/Chrome.
