• Drop-down menu is hidden under Spry content

  I have an existing basic css nav menu.  Now, I've added a Spry tabs on the page Panel.  Everything looks good, until I have to navigate the menu nav in IE7.  Drop-down menus behind the tabs Panel tabs (but not the content of the tabs Panel).  Is this a known issue? I tried searching and also posted in the Spry forum, but 0 results.

  I hope someone can give me a code to bring the menu nav in the foreground in IE7 (I'm not sure about older versions as well)?

  I found a solution, of sorts.

  I tried to comment the following line in the Spry Panel tabs css.

  You must manually create an empty movieclip and place it on the stage in the upper left corner on a background layer of the main timeline.  Then, assign it an instance name of "backgroundMC" This movieclip is where the code will place all the matrix elements to be created.

  To create an empty movieclip, in the toolbar at the top of the page, select Insert-> new symbol-> Movieclip... assign a symbol name as "Virgin mc" or something so that you know what it is to return to the main document choose edition--> the main Document, and then drag a copy of the new movieclip to the upper-left corner of the stage.

  When it is still selected, assign it an instance name "backgroundMC" in the properties panel, where it says "" (you can name it what you want, but I'm just using background MC for this example to work.

  If you did this correctly, the matrix will be limited now to be in this context movieclip and you can place another object above it in the other layers.

  I have a laptop HP ENVY 14. Basically, I had some files on my desk that have disappeared, I do not understand what has happened since all I did was drag an AVI to play on VLC media player and all of a sudden all of the other files (pictures, series, presentations, etc.) I had on my desk disappeared. I went into the recycling bin which had a couple of them here and I restored it, but the other files were not there, I do not understand what the hell happened, I has yet to remove them, but all I want is to restore the rest of them, which I can't find. Can someone help, I appreciate, since I have lost all my faith in Microsoft (Windows 7), thank you.

  One possible option is to try the following.

  Click the Start Menu, click your username at the top right.

  Right-click on the folder on the desktop and select Properties.  Click on the "Previous Versions" tab and give it time to load (this can take a few minutes).

  If you get a list of the previous versions, the first entry just left click to highlight and open - if you see your files listed, close the list and then click the option 'Restore' in the Properties window.  If no file is listed, try to open another entrance.

• Maximize the app, but keep the menu

  I would like to be able to maximize my app but always show the menu at the top. It seems that Mac, maximize did the same thing in full screen. In Windows, they are different. Causes of maximize application to fill all available space (except the taskbar if you defined in this way), but you still have the menu. Or you can go full screen, in which case the menu is hidden.

  The problem is when you go back and forth to use an external monitor. When I have my app size manually full screen in a screen, and then I spend in native screen mode, the app is larger than the viewport. I have to jockey autour to resize.   Just try it! This method works. Layers are valid on all pages:

  1. go on the master page.

  2. place your menu.

  3. open the layers panel.

  4 make a new layer by clicking the icon of the little sheet at the bottom of the Panel
