  I am at a loss here. I recently reinstalled Windows XP Home and I had previously had no problem with the help of WMP or Winamp or Meida monkey with my rocket, but for some reason any any of my media programs will even recognize the "rocket" is connected, even if it shows as connected in Windows Explorer, and I can drag and drop files to and from it without problem. When I plug the "rocket", I wonder if I want to display files, sync with WMP, sync with Media Monkey, etc. Even if I chose one of the options to sync, I am told by programs that they cannot find a device.

  I've updated the driver on the computer, update to the latest firmware on the "rocket", I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  Other devices work on the same USB port?  A flash drive for example?

  Uninstall the USB ports, restarted (they will reinstall) and try to connect the "rocket" - MSC mode, try first (for the hell of do it a reset on the "rocket" first if you wish).  Tell us what is happening.

  Is it a 'normal' XP installs home or one that has been tinkered with? Sometimes, when they remove XP items it can affect something else.

  I am trying to find a way to easily copy the highest rated songs from my MP3 player to my PC.

  I have a sansa view player but the player stopped to transfer information "sides" when syncronising with all media organisrers - WMP, Winamp, media monkey etc. I tried all.  The annoying fault with the phone is not repairable.

  I tried to use IDE tag viewers, alternative of Solution Explorer, using Linux - a lot of things, including an extention to explore that adds additional Collins to the columns in the Solution Explorer.  However, when connected to the device and view the files, no information on the sides of the files transferred or is visible - except via a single method: open the records of players in MTP mode in windows Explorer then:

  Click with the right button--> properties--> details.

  In the list of the news is a section called "user rating".  This ranking is a shown as a number '1' on a 1 star and '99' for a 5 star.  However, this information is not available as a column in Explorer, so it cannot be used for sorting the files (more high appreciation over the lowest inside is what Im will achieve).

  This notation from 1 to 99 info soes does not seem to be watched on in any other file browser media organizer. For mp3s saved on the hard drive, all fields are visible, including side but etc, and it's the problem, on the other hand when the file is copied to the PC, it seems to lose this information. If copied files do not have this ' information of the details available and copied the files do not appear to contain this information in their view in Notepad, so I can't even search for files with the string of text 99' in them.» (tearing hair).  MSC mode is also available on the device, but it does not help.

  I just watched something do custom "column in the registry managers."  I don't really understand it to be honest, but it would be a possible solution? Im not a programmer, so this might be beyond my skills, but could write a shell extension is a solution?

• Help - cannot work on the reading lists and am COMPLETE novice.

  The first thing I would say - because really I read posts where people meet on this subject - I spent HOURS searching through these posts, try to understand my problem. I'm NOT lazy - it's just that you all speak a language I don't understand!

  I'm trying to set up a playlist of various songs - but whenever I do--the player distributes the songs their various albums and do not keep together. I tried with Windows Media Player and Winamp. I read a post where someone had a similar problem and one solution is to use MTP rather than MSC (not sure if I have the letters on the right).

  I discovered that this is under settings in the player.

  But can someone please explain to me - in conditions really very simple - what is the difference? Some people seem to think THAT DPW is not good - but why? (Once again in terms very very basic please.)

  In addition, how change my reader to DPW help the situation of the playlist?

  I'm also confused because when I plug my player to the computer - propose a list of music files. But these don't seem to be the same folders/files that are the reader - I don't even see the "Playlist" option on the computer - even if it is indeed on the player to the title of the music.

  Selections - me - MTP always seemed easier.  MTP mode the computer sees the device as a multimedia device, MSC he sees it as a regular flash drive.

  Once you have set up a playlist, you can change it by double clicking on it and it will show you the list of titles.  You can change the order and drag and drop files more within your rocket into the playlist.  Windows media player and media monkey etc lets you create playlists within the program if you wish.

  Playlists are separated for the menus of the artist and albums.  While labels written in the files are used to identify artist and album (unless you use the navigation in the files), file selection just heading the reader files (which can all be at different locations). So no, your files will still be under album/artist as well as the playlist.

  current installation:

  -Cable modem is connected to the WAN port on my Time Capsule (3 TB Tower). Transport CANADA acts as DHCP unit (modem is silent, that is without router)

  -Port LAN of the TC is connected to the WAN of the MONKEY #1 via CAT6 Ethernet port.

  -MONKEY port LAN #1 is connected to the WAN of the MONKEY #2 port

  -Port LAN EPA # 2 is connected to the WAN of the MONKEY #3 port

  -all the monkeys (the latest models of Tower) Act in Bridge mode, but create a WLAN.

  I like that, a roaming welll workign network throughout the House.

  New installation / planned:

  -J' changed from cable to fiber to the home. So now I have a new box of fiber that offer Internet via 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports.

  -The new fiber box is physically located between the TC and the #1 MONKEY.

  -without having to pull a new cable in the box of fiber for the TC (for feed on the Internet in the beginning of the string), I was thinking about this:

  -1 Ethernet cable from fiberbox to the TC and feed the Internet through another Ethernet into the WAN port on the #1 MONKEY in the remaining string.

  Since the TC is connected to Ether even switch on the product of the fiber to which EPA #1 is also connected... TC and AE #1 are, indeed, also linked together.

  Yes, assuming the fiber box works properly.

  Important note... Your plan to have the TC and the MONKEY in Bridge Mode expected to work... BUT... Apple has another idea on how a mobile network should be configured. See the information on a roaming network in this Apple support document:

  More precisely... Apple will tell you to connect an Ethernet cable from the product of the fiber to the WAN on the TC port and set the TC for managing DHCP and NAT... just as it does now.  Then... all the rest would be put in place just as you have it now... with a connection Ethernet between a LAN port on the TC to the WAN on EPA #1, LAN on EPA to WAN on EPA #2 #1, etc..

  If you follow the advice of Apple... you'll get an error Double NAT on your network... Apple who will tell you to ignore. How well your network will work with a Double NAT problem is open to question.

  I don't recommend to follow advice Apple... just pointing out that Apple has different ideas and interesting on how to do things, which sometimes goes against the traditional rules of network management.

  So, you want an entrance sign of the emoticon?  This isn't something built-in, and you definitely have to create yourself.  Its a little difficult to get all of its States working with the keyboard's up/down, but it can be done.

  Basically, you need to create a component with a ListView with a GridListLayout.  Then, in the DataModel for this list, you provide all string patterns that are mapped to the emoticons (":-)) ",") ", etc.)

  Each ListItemComponent must be a container with an ImageButton control (which only shows something in a hurry) and a label with its content bits defined so that it can display emoticons.  In this way, each element of the grid displays a character different emoticon.

  I hope that makes sense.  It is not something simple and will take a fair amount of work.  But it can be built.

  I have a question specific and General.  Specifically, how can I add audio integrated (or video - I guess I can thus find out how also) clip in a page?  As a general rule, which is the nearest equivalent of an old manual exists since Muse?  Before you buy Creative cloud I asked people to chat if textbooks were available and assured that they were, but of course I can't find one for Muse.  Video tutorials are perfect if you want to learn, in general, everything what the program can do, but when you have a question specific, picky, you want (what I want, in any case - call me a dinosaur if you want) is a manual with an index (or, of course, with a search function).  I tried to enter the above question in the search box to under 'Help' of Muse, but the results don't seem to even relate specifically to the Muse, and even less to the particular question I had - that is to say irritating because I'm sure that the answer is incredibly simple.  I have tons of others, probably as simple questions, about things like changing the appearance of the widgets and where the most widgets, buttons, etc., but I don't like the bug to the forum with them if there is in fact a more rational way to respond.

  I guess I'd love to hear the thoughts of people on this issue in general, too.  Over the past twelve years, it seems to me that the entire industry has moved away from textbooks of the owner, and indeed from any statement based on text.  The latest smart phones many, I bought do not come with any manual beyond a short "quick start" guide, although usually they are available online if you really want one.  Much of the software that I bought recently Ditto.  The theory seems to be that the typical customer is now someone who was born with a smartphone in his hand and grew up with a tablet in her stroller and one in his cradle, and that such a person can understand instinctively new software - and, indeed, don't know what to do with a manual if they had one.  But I see two problems with this - neither of which can worry about the industry, whose purpose, in the end, is to sell stuff, not to help the people to use it.  First of all, what those of us who are older?  Personally I can understand the basic features of most things - I think I was just about to cusp - born but my parents are usually lost without instruction manuals, despite the fact that two of them spent their lifetime of work in the field of high technology.  However, I recognize that these people are not the target demographic.  My second objection is more universal: it seems to me that no matter who, but instinctively warned, who is forced to find out for themselves how to use a program or a device running a risk, even if they figure out how to do what they want to do things the way strong, never of simple learning shortcuts and missing features or the features they would find very useful if they knew about their simply because they have nowhere to turn for pick up.  What do others think?  Have you noticed the trend of the text and the manuals?  It bother you?  Short of a brain transplant, what is the solution for us, old beards who grew up things?

  I guess I have a query more: since I will obviously have to slog my way through a bunch of tutorials video, I'd like some tips on how to set up my work space to better take advantage of them.  Currently, what I do is open the video on a monitor of my configuration double, while I have the program open on the other.  (I tried to view the videos in a corner of my screen, but if I made them small enough not to interfere with the program, I struggled to see what was the instructor).  This configuration would work very well if I were to receive a live video teaching, but the problem with those pre-recorded, is that the instructors never leave you time between you showing the steps to actually make you.  I'm constantly having to pause or rewind the video and whenever I do, I have to click on in my browser and the program I am trying to learn.  In some programs, that is not a huge problem, because when I reactivate the program it is precisely in that I left him, but when I quit Muse, then come back, he loses a little of what I was doing.  (I don't mean it loses data - as much as I know, this doesn't happen.)  Maybe I can better explain it by saying that it does not.  In MS Word, for example, if I, say, highlight a Word and then open another program, such as a browser or whatever, no matter how much time I spend antics outside the word, when I get back to him, the word is always highlighted, my cursor is always right where I left off, etc..  Muse done that - and seen how it is difficult to highlight a particular element in Muse in the first place, is extremely irritating.  It's wasting a lot of time - I don't know when I found myself so shouting at my computer.  "Wait!"  Stop it!  Hold on!  Slow down! ('') Maybe if I actually downloaded videos and then played on a sort of video player, rather than their broadcast in my browser that would be better, but I still have to do inactive Muse in order to make the current drive whenever I wanted to take a break.  Suggestions?  I get actually to the point where I think to play videos in VLC and play at half speed, but I'm not sure I can make it past how weird that makes sound instructors.  (I have a second computer, so I guess that another approach would be to open the tutorial on the other machine, eliminating the need to disable the Muse for the monkey with the video.  I'm going to do if I have to, but it will mean messing around with the physical layout of my workspace, in order to get an another computer monitor where I can see it from the very first - and I have my work space organized in a way that works for all the work that I do.  "I hope that there is a less extreme solution.)

  Of course, I realize that part of the problem is that I am trying to take a shortcut.  I don't want to take some huge block of time to learn a program fully - say, by taking a course - before using it.  I just want to start to build my project and then look for the solution whenever I come to a roadblock.  Part of the problem is that I'm a learner kinesthetic.  I can't hear it unless I really do.  (That is why I just gritted my teeth and painfully through the practice of the "coffee of Katie" Project Muse offers.)  But the other problem is that I'm not a specialist.  I use a dozen different types of applications - web design, print layout page, graphics, editing, music composition, writing, etc. - sound and I do not use one of them every day.  Even if I took the time of my life to learn fully all the tricks and shortcuts in Muse, I forget most of them between uses, since in the meantime I would be learning and using the tips and shortcuts in a totally different program or programs.  (I know because it's happening in every program I use.  Every Time I want to change a style in Word definition, for example, I get how to do, because I do only a few times a month - but in Word, it is super easy to look up, so this slows me down virtually any.)

  Well well, thank you for allowing me to vent.  If the person has thoughts on (deep, psychological) issues I raised (?) which is quite cool - but I would appreciate a brief answer to my audio original integrating the question.

  Looks like you already have a few to start great troubleshooting steps. Since force close your applications, evolution of networks and rebooting did not help, I would recommend backing up your iPhone, and then reinstall your software iOS.

  With 3 beeps, 5 seconds silence, 3 beeps, etc, it's "no good bank."  I was using crucial memory, works fine until about a week ago when he is awakened from his sleep gave the order to 3 beeps.  Changed to original memory of apple, same, got crucial replacement memory, same 3 beeps...  I doubt that all the 3 series were / are bad.  What else could be?  Any hardware problem would give sequence 3 beeps?
