Empty libraries

I have problems with the list of libraries in Comp CC. I tried to import images and the list of my library is there, but all say 0 items. Anyone else having this problem?

I saw the graphics, I had in my libraries in InDesign or Illustrator.

It seems that the following formats are supported in Comp CC: Photoshop (PS) and PNG

Unsupported: HAVE (lllustrator), ID (InDesign), SVG

    Hello ThomasSpero,

It is the response that was returned by Logitech Forums:

    Hello spetho2001,

The empty SightSpeed records record is a direct result of your Logitech Vid installation. The file is harmless and will remain empty unless the function to record video calls is implemented in Vid.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It seems to be just a record created and will have nothing on the record unless you use the video recording option. You can test this information by recording a video call.

I'll assume that the empty folder is not a problem.

    I hope this helps.

  • All my iPhoto libraries can with 9.2.3 since automatically upgrade from 2012?

In January 2011, I bought an iMac with installed iPhoto and I put the file of preferences for automatic updates.

I had no time to pay close attention to all things iPhoto, so I just added photos without thinking. Now, I have 4 or 5 libraries and asked me to choose one for the current empty iPhoto 9.2.3. I don't know what to choose. They all will work on 9.2.3 since they have automatically updated throughout the 5 years? Or is it just one who will work, or can I alternate at different times and think they'll all be achievable? I have no idea. I'm on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I don't want to put anything right now. Does anyone have an idea what I can anticipate? Thanks in advance for any light you could throw on it.

Maybe - depends on information unknown as what version of iPhoto, they were created with - basically if they were created by iPhoto ' 09 or 11 they will be - if they were created with iPhoto ' 08 or earlier, you will need to download and run the program upgrade the iPhoto library - using the tool of valorisation of the iPhoto - Apple Support Library

  • iTunes update computer libraries "not recognized".

New update of iTunes (12.4.1.6) caused iTunes to no longer recognize the libraries on my computer.  I was able to reload the libraries, but playlists are lost.  I think that something like this happened with the last update, put everything on the cloud (which I don't).  It's different.  How the recognition of the library which existed before the update to restore or transfer the information from the iPhone to the computer (including playlists)?  Thank you.

I have a similar problem.  All my playlists disappeared and 99% of my content is not displayed.  The songs are all there - I can see them in folders.  I followed the procedure to try to use a previous .itl file, but iTunes simply creates a new empty an overtime I start.

  • A problem when opening libraries merging

I'm trying to merge two libraries Aperture 3.6 to prepare them for migration into Photos for Mac.

The merge/add prompt does not appear, and no images are merged in the first library.

I tried to force the merge/Add guest to appear by importing a photo duplicate, but that did not help.

I also tried already to repair and rebuild the two libraries.

The merger still does not work.

    What to try next?

So this old bug is still there?

You have already tried most of the known work.arounds.

Since the repair and reconstruction has not helped,

    • Save libraries before continuing.
    • Create an empty library, the first library to merge in this empty library.
    • Create a second empty library and merge the second library in this empty library.
    • Then merge these new versions of the library.

    Added:

Make sure that you have a lot of free space on the drive with your Aperture libraries.  Merger will need storage temporarily more than the combined size of the merged libraries.

  • cannot switch between iPhoto libraries

Just recently, my mac made me create a new library for iPhoto. I don't know why, maybe my first one was overloaded, because I have a LOT of photos and videos and we used only. But after that there is a new one (which is of course empty), it won't let me come back to my old one. When I go to the tab to switch between libraries and click to choose another, I can still see my original library. But whenever I click on it to switch to him, my computer does not respond. It doesn't do anything. I think that all my old content is still on my computer, I just can't access. Can someone help me please? I have a lot of media that I need!

    1. will never be your Mac 'make' you do whatever including create a library - what exactly makes you think that the Mac done you this?

    2. what happens when you double-click the iPhoto library in your pictures folder?

3 - what version of the operating system you have and what version of iPhoto?

  • How to avoid the big two libraries?

    Hey all,.

Nobody knows why, I have two large photo libraries?  I've recently updated to El Capitan on my Macbook Pro and as well as Photos of indexing my pictures, even if I had upgraded my iPhoto library after installation.  Now, I have an iPhoto library is 69Gb and a library of Photos that is 65Gb.  I always use iPhoto for calendars etc so I would like to know how to get rid of the very necessary 65Gb being absorbed by the Photos.  I'm not entirely sure the benefits of vs iPhoto pictures, especially since I use it for books & annual calendars, etc.

    Please help, thanks!

The removal is as with any other file.  You select the Photos of Library.photoslibrary in the Finder, right-click and Trash.  Then empty the trash to free up space.  Before you do, you want to make sure Photos is not the photos you have taken since the conversion because iPhoto should not have the pictures to be taken after activation of the Photo.

Also, with benefits of Photos in iPhoto, please check this thread.  What is the advantage of the Photos to iPhoto? I can't find.  In fact, the Photos seems much lower

Please note, iPhoto is is no longer supported by Apple.  Or opening.  Over time, these elements will remain stagnant Photos will continue to features.

  • I do not understand the iTunes libraries.

Can someone please explain how to use the libraries of iTunes for me?

I have a folder music on my mac with all the 23 GB of my music from my old computer inside.

But iTunes makes a new folder named "iTunes 1" and stuck 15 GB of my music in there. Not all of my music is visible/playable in iTunes. All are mp3 files, so I don't know why it shows, for example, only 4 out of the 7 albums by a certain artist.

Why can't iTunes just use my original music instead of using so many additional GB of space?

    Thank you!

A library (your iTunes folder) consists of parties, as well as a library of the city.  Media are only a part of it. Only the media are like books sitting on an empty block in the middle of a city, no building or librarians.  Which gives the structure that you see is the "catalog file" iTunes Library.itl working with the other files and folders in the iTunes folder (for example, the work is stored in a separate location).  If they were stored on your old computer, then you have a bunch of media.  The normal practice must also copy the folder iTunes on the new computer so iTunes knows all about the support on the external hard drive.

On the iTunes library files - https://support.apple.com/HT201610 - does not mention that a complete library of work also includes other files and also files in the iTunes folder.

Because he missed the rest of your iTunes library has created a new library (it's strange, she added a '1' because it only does this if you have deliberately created a new library next to an existing iTunes one but maybe you're not tell us something) and did his thing by default (unless you have changed some settings) to copy everything added media to the Media folder in the library folder.  If you do not want it to do this then make sure have changed the preferences for the location of the media file in advance, or better yet put the entire library on the external hard drive.

As to why only some of your MP3s show up, you will need to tell us more.  MP3s usually store track information in each file, so if they were added, they should appear.  They are all added?  Otherwise, it's possible, I guess too has been added at the same time and something slipped upwards in the system, or a bunch of other assumptions that I could do.

  • How to manage and work with multiple libraries

I decided to store my photos in annual libraries - but now I want to create a photo book with photos of two libraries.

    Is there a way of

    (1) create more products of a library?

    (2) otherwise: merge two libraries into one?

    Thank you!

Does not support photos to merge libraries.

It would more easily create a library for your book.

    • Export the photos that you want to use in the book of two libraries (select the photos and use file > export > export... versions).  Export photos to a high quality.
    • Import the photos exported in an empty library.  Create your book.
    • Then check in the library with the book project...

This will have the advantage, that don't accidentally delete you or change the photos you used for your book.

If you temporarily want to move photos between libraries, you can use the PowerPhotos application.  It allows you to navigate easily several libraries of Photos without having to open them in Photos.

  • Folder of documents completely empty after emptying the Recycle Bin. Running Windows Vista Edition Home Premium.

I uploaded several photos from a third party site yesterday. In this process, I make several files which I then recycle once the download is complete. Because I'm uploading about 6 months worth of photos, I decided it would be best to empty the trash when I finished and did. Today, I went to access a Word document, and ALL my files are missing from the Documents folder - it is completely empty. When I try to look for one of the files that I know was in the file, I get a message that says "the point _ that this shortcut refers has been changed or moved, and this shortcut no longer works correctly. You really want to remove this shortcut? "In the research forums, I've seen where this can happen after a trojan/virus. I met said before virus on my laptop, so I know what it looks like at and. I have experienced this on my desk that I currently have the problem with. I ran a full scan, just to be on the right side and found nothing. Any suggestions?

He should not have deleted the documents folder.  System restore must have worked.

Protection system had to be turned on in order to 'restore' .  Directions to do are in the link I listed above about the subject.

Have you tried to uninstall the software with that allows you to export documents?  See if the documents are restored on uninstall.

In the settings of your third-party software that you see a setting that says keep copy file on the drive even after deleting? If so, you have a copy of the file on the raw disk. See this

Nothing in Event Viewer, journal should defy explanation.

Your system of driving wrong way or did you just noticed this in the event log and I wonder why see you?

That the message trying to tell you is that your system is told to find and load at startup what are probably dll of third part of something you have installed is just an informational message / warning.

It is possible that something you have installed/uninstalled in the past might have used this feature of Windows that you can read here if you're interested:

    https://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/Windows/desktop/dd744762%28V=vs.85%29.aspx

You can check to see if there are all the dll specified for load and if there is not, turn off this thing and you will not see the message more.

You have to look in the registry to see what is happening, and since there is no cancellation or exit without saving the changes in the registry editor, you should first do a manual System Restore Point and consider backup of your registry with the free and popular tool:

    http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/ERUNT/

The click the Start button/orb and enter in the box:

    Regedit

And choose to run as administrator the Registry Editor:

    Then navigate here:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

The AppInit_DLLs value is where none of these DLLs are specified and if yours is empty (which means that there is no dll to load) just tell Windows not to attempt to load something that does not exist.

Check the value of LoadAppInit_DLLs and if it is set to 1, double click it and change the value to 0 (zero), close the registry editor, restart and double-check your event viewer.

Is there something in the AppInit_DLLs field (a comma or space separated list of DLLs) then you should leave things alone because they are there for a reason any and accept the fact that you will see the informational message whenever your system boots.

  • Loading libraries of dynamic links customized for every application

Can someone tell me why I get this warning in my system (ID:11 event) Event Viewer whenever Windows7 x 64 boots? Should I worry about this? Is there anything I can do to make it go away?

    Walt

For the moment, it won't affect anything else, if AppInit_Dlls is empty.  LoadAppInit_Dlls is an indicator that tells Windows to "respect" (load the dll in the AppInint_DLLs) the AppInit_DLLs value.  More former, prior to Vista apps will not know to LoadAppInit_DLLs a value of 1, so the dll would add him to this place would not be loaded.  It can be considered a good thing, because it is a quick way to get the (good and bad) code loaded into the address space of each loaded process user32.dll (practically everything), which deals with the AppInit_DLLs.  New apps are common sense for LoadAppInit_DLLs setting so they put 1 and also add components to AppInit_DLLs.  In your case, it seems that some program added DLLS to AppInit_DLLs, LoadAppInit_DLLs set to 1, and then the dll have been removed (manually? program cleaning? uninstall program?) of AppInit_DLLs, but LoadAppInit_DLLs was restored to the default value of 0 (or not being is not present at all).

So, our exploration indicates that Windows based the decision to record the event on "Custom Dynamic Link Libraries loading for all applications" for the LoadAppInit_DLLs parameter, regardless of the content of the AppInit_DLLs value.
