  We have several 7921G phones we want to integrate into our WiFi network. This WiFi is protected by using EAP - TLS, so we installed the certificates to a single test phone. We discovered that the phone does not support certificates with RSA keys larger than 2048 bits with and, at the same time, their signatures must be always generated using the SHA1 hashing algorithm. This fact also appears in documentation of the phone. As a result, we have a problem since the certificate root CA using a 4096-bit key and the SHA256 algorithm. We have also updated the firmware to the latest version without success in this regard. Anyone know if there is any plan to a firmware upgrade to support the keys with a larger size and a different hash algorithms? Currently, algorithm SHA1 is considered to be obsolete and security community recommend using a different hash algorithm, as the same that occurs with the size of the keys.

  I managed to install a certificate from encryption of electronic mail on my Mac running OS X 10.11.4 but when I get an encrypted email and I open it in Mail it does not display security status, so there is no way of knowing that it is actually an encrypted email.  Enamel appears encrypted and signed icon on my iPhone and iPad with the installed certificates.  What configuration change I'm supposed to do to make this work/display correctly on Mac.

  If I delete the certificates then I get an e-mail with the attachment smile.p7m.

  I tried a bunch of different searches on the internet without a little luck to find how to fix.

  S/MIME support seems to be broken in the current version of mail. I don't know of a workaround and I don't know when it will be fixed.

  Your applications get deleted and removed from the iPhone when you reset the iPhone.

  However, your identifier Apple still holds the apps!  (Assuming that all purchased applications (whatever the price) on the iTunes Store.)

  So once you have configured your iPhone again (with the same Apple ID used to purchase apps), apps can be downloaded to the iPhone.  Use iTunes on your computer or from the App Store on your iPhone and go to "purchased".
