  It is a decision that was made by Apple.  El Capitan is the newest OSX that will support a 2009 MBP.

  This is not uncommon.  My 2006 MBP came with Tiger, but is limited to OSX Snow Leopard.

  Old hardware ends up by becoming obsolete with newer technology.

  So I think that

  -you are in the slideshow Editor

  -you have identified a photo you want to solve

  Your goal is to set a single photo without disrupting and quit your current job to create slide show.

  What I would do is

  -use the thumbnails at the bottom of the editor of slideshow of work to locate the slide picture you want to change

  -Select the thumbnail of this image (left click on its thumbnail on the bottom of the slide show window). Then you should see this photo image in the preview area above the thumbnails down

  -now click on the enlarged image in the preview area and

  -After clicking on the enlarged image, the Properties Panel , in the right side of the editor of slideshow of work longer have choices such as rotating, cropping, Edit - Quick Fix and an edit button. (you will have to perhaps develop in the properties panel or reduce some other signs on the right to display the choices in the properties panel)

  -use any item of your choice for editing of the specific photo slide which is currently in the preview area. (Some of these choices may open space of the editor).

  Notes:

  -You didn't tell you what version of PSE. I've referenced PSE 7 during the writing of this post, but it will be the same or very similar in several versions.

  -My expereince has been that I don't see the choice of edition in the properties panel until I click on the image enlarged in the preview area. Therefore, many people don't realize that these life choices.

  If I remember someone else reported the same problem yesterday and Nvidia suggested to reinstall OS x. If yo boot into Recovery and reinstall without formatting nothing should be lost but backup before just I case.

  I think you are referring to the third stock photo in a slideshow of base that you are unable to delete since the upgrade to 4.0?

  If this is the case, try to browse to the image by clicking on the ">" (next) link mode creation; Select the image of hero and press DELETE to remove completely the third remove the slide show. You can also double-click the hero image to select the particular picture and press DELETE that would make the third blank slide and you should be able to place a new image.

  If the above does not help, try reseating the basic slideshow widget or use the blank slide show which does not contain images of the reserve.

• JTable custom - editor update the currently selected cell

  I have a JTable and a custom converter / editor for my JTable column. I have a small problem, where if I select a cell that uses the custom editor, and the purpose of the model is updated from another thread, is not discounting the value in my editor to reflect the new value. Is there a way to force the Publisher must be drawn with the new object?
  
  I'll put the new value on the model using the. setValueAt(); and then call fireTableCellUpdated() but the Editor still shows the old object.

  Well that's what I would do, but do not know how to get a handle on the editor-in-Chief of the displayed cell to the for update.

  JTable #getCellEditor (). It is null if no cell is being edited, that a cell can be change at the same time). GetEditingRow/column store, call cancelCellEditing and then startEditAt() after your fireTableCellUpdated.

• Unable to update the dates of start/end with updateUser API

  I'm trying to update the dates of beginning and end using the updateUser API, but the dates are not defined. I know the updateUser call works because I tested it by changing the user's first name and it worked fine (checked by the IOM web app). Here is the code I use to update as well as the values of the sample that I use. No exception is thrown either. I have no idea what can be the problem. Also, one of my customer request must also display the time when these values where it is updated (via a custom web application that I am building). Is - is this posible? Before I received the time where the call to userUpdate was made and adding that the values would lie in the hash table, but started using 0 for the time since that's what I read on a thread on this forum (Re: (IOM) Timestamp format must be yyyy-mm-dd... )

  It will show you in DB as * 24 June 09 *. I don't understand what you are asking for more in your thread.

  But updateUser API works with this format. If you found the time to some application, convert to this format and run.

• Updated the MBP 13 "or low-end MBP 15"?

  I'm finally replace my MBP 2010 13 "and now I'm agonizing the choice of a new laptop. I reduced options available in two - or 13 ", upgraded to the processor dual-core i7, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage or the preset lower of 15'. As you can probably, I keep my machines for a while, so longevity is certainly a matter of concern. I do a lot of graphic design and photo retouching on Photoshop, and I have also recently get in (self-produced short films) video editing. While I've used iMovie to date, I think to switch to Final Cut Pro. I know that the quad core in the model 15 "would be much more powerful in this regard. However, I'm not a professional, while the speed of editing/video additional formatting would be nice, I'm not sure about totally. Right now, I think I'm leaning toward the 13 ", because I tend to feel it's a better investment to get a smaller screen as the largest screen high-end low end I love also the portability of the 13" - However, I have not a desktop computer, and after a trip to the Apple Store I must admit that the largest screen is tempting.

  With all that in mind, I guess my main question is - it - even the low end 15 "would be a computer much more powerful/better together than every 13" Mbps? Or is there merit to get a high level of range 13 "? Thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated!

  If your course 13 "MBP is satisfying your requirements, a new model will do the same and more.  Not be carried away by the quad CPU.  It is superiority comes into play only when a given application is written to take advantage of parallel processing it provides.  The model 15 "has a larger screen which should be considered as the deciding factor.  If the 13 "screen is satisfactory, opt for it.
