Engine determinations Oracle Data Source connector for batch processing?

I tried to find + 'Oracle engine determinations Data Source Connector +. I have installed OPA 10.2 .

Where can I find in the installation directory? or does not as part of the standard installation?

Found! It is not part of the standard installation of the OPM, but of the runtime component.

  • SSRS for lack of outer join with the Oracle data source

It seems to be a problem with the Oracle driver used in the Reporting SERVICES query designer.

When you use an Oracle data source, if I create an outer join in the graphic designer, it automatically inserts '{OJ' before the join and '} ' after her.  This is an incorrect syntax for Oracle and refuses to start.  The curly braces and the JO editable in designer text, but if I go back to the graphic designer and immediately to reintegrate them.

Only, this has started to happen a year or two ago - before that it worked, but with the old (+) syntax.

Can it not be healed?  It makes things very difficult.

  • OPA data source connector

    Hello

We intend to make use of OPA connector for one of our requirements of data source. Please let me know if someone has worked on this and he has relevant material. As far as I understand the data source connector processes the excel or csv files and gives the result for each record in the application of the modules file, which can be processed according to the requirement (in our case we will be load into siebel)

    Kind regards
    Cécile

What is the "relevant material" you are looking for? There is an example that comes with the Java and .NET kits media - see the folder "examples/data-source-connector. There is also a "Data Source connector" section in the political Oracle Developer Automation helps (included in the pack of media in the folder "help/run") which describes the configuration file and the example provided.

  • Find the Oracle data source...

I inherited a ColdFusion 10 app with a backend Oracle 11g; Windows Server.    I am especially a DBA and not an expert in ColdFusion.  In the application code, they have the hardcoded data source.  In other words, when I move to Test I have to change the source data, load the modules and test.   After a successful test, I need to change the data source, once again, to download and the promoted to production.   I seem to remember in the old application, I used to support, the code was generic and the data source depends on what server you were lit; If the development, testing or production, you don't have to worry.  I don't remember how it was done.   What would be the best way to eliminate this hard coding and make it more automated?   I know I'm probably missing something, but you were all very helpful to me in the last few weeks, so I hope that he is not a stupid question.   Thank you.

I do not have Admin CF

You can specify that?  Do you mean that you do not have access to the CF Admin?

Not having access to the CF Admin, I'm not sure you can do something differently as you are now., unless you're writing a logic to examine the server host name or the domain name of the site and set the source of data accordingly.

If you can access the CF Admin, create two data sources: one for production and one for testing.  Then in application.cfc, you can write logic to examine the server host name or the domain name and indicate 'this.datasource' to whatever datasource is appropriate.

  • Test Oracle Internet Directory Connector for IOM

    Hello

I'm testing the running test cases available in the Oracle Internet Directory Connector for IOM, but I'm not because it seems that the current version of this connector does not have the java class tcUtilTestOID as described in the documentation. • Implementation of Open Data Source SQL for loading data

    Hello

I've set up a system DSN odbc for Oracle database link I want to leave the interface and tested successfully (on odbc), but when I try to use the same in Open Sql Data Sources, so that it appears in the SQL data sources menu OK list I get all the data returned when I click "OK/recycling" - just the message - "unable to establish a connection to the SQL database server. Check the log for details

Can someone tell me where the journal is if I can get a clue as to why it breaks down, I assumed Essbase or ODBC, but can see nothing in the two?

    Thank you

    Robert.

You use the 'Data Direct Oracle Wire Protocol x.x', otherwise try with this driver.

Do not fill anything in the open field of connection on the right side of the window of 'SQL Data Sources '.

Make sure you enter a valid sql statement without "select."

Check the log of essbase applications.

    See you soon

  • How to import from an Oracle data source using the Administration tool?

Trying to create a repository using the tool of Administration and elected to import using the "SPOUT 10 g / 11 g.
However, after you have entered the name of Data Source, the user name and password, I still get error "the connection failed".

According to the help, the data source name must be the full connection string. I guess that means in the format < host >: < port >: < service >. Also, I guess the username and password are the DB schema.

Any ideas why I can't connect?

  • Why do I need to use GIMP for batch processing?

    Dear Adobe,

I am grinding wheel through thousands of images to display and model for an online retailer. Masks and Photoshop layers came in quite handy when I was doing the models

but now that it's went down to reuse these templates, I have to look elsewhere.

    1. why any other piece of software on the market have a lot deals section, and yet you hide your?

    2. why not the image processor to resize horizontally and vertically, although it claims? In fact, he won't distort the image to resize, which in fact, I want to do it. I had

to download GIMP to achieve this functionality, as well as to specify the output file and change the dpi. These are all included in GIMP but not Pshop. Thank you for that. And do not tell

ordering me to go to stocks. It is perhaps useful to something of things, but it is hardly the best way to do this, save your exact measurements and then by saving or not saving, then

See what's happening. Like I wanted it was in GIMP and its pathetic that 20 years, Pshop still doesn't have a credible batch processor, or tell me where it is now.

    Additional charges for this maybe?

    3. what has changed in Bridge CS6 since CS4? I see absolutely nothing different, but then the output is still limited to PDF and "WEB GALLERY" a dysfunctional glob

code easily came out of jquery, but maybe you have impoved ending. My last experience with web gallery was so dysfunctional that I'll just stay to fix what has

under the hood myself. I mean web gallery used as flash, then something else which is not common. Let's just agree that this is an option of amateur. Of course

I don't know why 'exit' may include other options for the batch processing of files, since actually rename the batch works, but you are the decision makers.

    4. its too bad. This work has taught me a lot of new things about layering, masks and the functionality of the configuration section, I have no qualms with, however,

considering how many companies you have purchased, you may want to include tons of features used in these programs, but it would be too the patterning

expenses of Mgmt. Maybe we'll just fix the views of the window that we broke in CS4 and call it a new version.

    5. thanks for forcing me to discover GIMP, that does not demand a thing. I don't really like to be there yet, but we'll see if that changes with time. They actually have some

different filters and rendering options that Adobe could have included years there are firearms, but even once, there are just simply not enough money for everyone at Adobe.

Why?  Simple: because you know not how to use the application.

You know, it never fails: the strongest mug shot, plus the likelihood of PEBKAC.

In closing, I would like to remind you that you are not addressing Adobe here in these forums from user to user.

  • With FDM/ERPi of Oracle Data Source incremental data loads

    Hello

I use ERPi 11.1.2.1. In the workspace, it is possible to set the option of the rule of the data load to be instant, or incremental. However, I use FDM/ERPi set to load data from Oracle GL in Essbase. Is it possible for me to put in place the FDM for the data to load incremental data rules charges? Could be a parameter in the source ERPi adapter?

Thanks for any information you could provide.

Yes, the source ERPi adapter there is an option for "Method of Load Data" that will allow you to define how the rule of the DL is run. By default, it is "FULL REFRESH" but can be changed.

    (A) connecting to the application via the workbench and the source system adapters
    (B) make a right click on the Source ERPI adapter and choose "options".

You will see an option to load method and it will be the full refresh value, choose the value of the option you want in the menu drop-down and save.

  • Data source connector cannot crawl the content that contains commas?

    Hi all

I use DSC to run our modules. The CSV of entry, some columns contain the comma
    for example "1.2", 2,3,4, actually the file has 4 columns, it's 1, 2, 2, 3 & 4.
    But the connector source of data to analyse the raw for 5 columns, it's "1 & 2" & 2 & 3 & 4.

And if the data contains quotation marks, the DSC can not double quotes to iron, then calculate an erroneous result.

So everyone doesn't know how to handle this problem.

    Thank you.

    Hello

As much as I know DSC does not work with text qualifiers. So the solution would be to change the entry. Drop the text qualifier, and then choose a different delimiter. My entry also contains the decimal point and in combination with a TAB delimiter which works very well.

    Cheers, Pierre

  • Dreamweaver Layouts/Doctypes for batch processing

5 Dreamweaver offers sixteen warnings, 1 column fixed, centered at

3 liquid column, header, and footer. There are also seven doctypes for HTML 4.01 Transitional to HTML5, for a total of 112 possible combinations.

I'm feeling ambitious and want to experiment with all of these layouts. But I'm not ambitious. Rather than creating combinations of layout page/doctype 112, one at a time, is possible to create several at a time, or is there some kind of 'library' where can I find copies of all these layouts?

    Thank you.

You would have to create all the one at a time. But why?

Really most of the time regardless of the chosen doctype formatting CSS is always the same. Then only, you will need to actually create the sixteen variations or however many there are. Unless I'm mistaking totally question?

  • Oracle Siebel Disqualification connector: against what database it check duplicates?

    Good evening

I'm writing an application design for a solution that will make the use of the Oracle Disqualification Siebel connector. Disqualification seems very interesting, but I have trouble understanding the documentation.

First question is about the audit of direct duplicates. A software that needs to run a check for duplicates needs access to all of the data in the system, so no Disqualification. But how does it work? -According to the installation document, database connections and mappings are necessary only if you use a database - staging and staging databases are required for batch processing.

The live system (check accounts + contacts duplicates on create / update) isn't a batch: it's a Web service.

Disqualification, but how do I know which fields should be used, if we don't have jobs > don't use staging databases > have no mappings?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

Disqualification uses a stateless architecture where she provides matching services to applications. Corresponding uses two services - key generation service and a matching service.

First, the key gen service is run in batch on all existing records in the application. The keys are written in a simple table (about record ID + value).

Then, for "online processing", the cluster service is called for any document which should be added or updated ("driving record") and returns several key values.

The application then performs 'selection of candidates' by querying the system for all records that share these core values. It then sends the driving record and its candidates to the corresponding function. The matchmaking service returns candidates who are a decent level of match (beyond a configurable threshold) with driving record and adds a note (how the game is strong) and other information on the nature of the game. (Siebel can only use the partition.)

The matches can be processed by the application. This can include the treatment of matches on a certain score as an automatic match and/or can mean presenting possible matches to user control.

If the application is a hub, or otherwise has the ability to merge, it can then generate a master updated record, which must be regenerated (another call to the function of clustering).

This approach ensures there is not need to synchronize data between the application and the Disqualification, guarantees transactional integrity and appropriate (for example, no lag in a record being available for the match against) and you can hear DQ services can easily evolve between several machines without worry about data match against because it is sent on messages. Disqualification service delivery is extremely effective because of the Disqualification of memory, etc. multithreading.

A note is that when the Disqualification is attached to Siebel, this architecture (that is, the ability to use the Disqualification key generation service to ensure the selection of appropriate candidates), is available since version 8.1.1.10 of Siebel.

The process is summarized in Section 6 of the Guide Services Customer Data Services Business package:

  • Specify the data source by default PIF

How do you determine the Data Source by default "default"?

Let's say I have three sources of JDBC, named BIEE_TRAIN, Oracle BIEEand demodata. They are displayed on the login screen of NEED in that order. I also have a file named data source, demo files.

When we create a new set of data, there is an option button that indicates the default data Source. Looking at the page of the report, we see that the default data Source is set to BIEE_TRAIN. Why BIEE_TRAIN was selected? Selected by default because the data source is ranked first in the JDBC connections? I do not see a box to check, or any other way to report a particular data source as the value by default "default".

In C:\OracleBI\xmlp\XMLP\Admin\DataSource\datasources.xml, the four sources are listed in the following order:
    demo
    demonstration files
    Oracle biee
    biee_train

How can I change the default system? How would have defined the demonstration files, for example, as 'default' my system default data Source?

    It automatically sorts by NAME.

And the default is Firestone I guess.

If you want to default, call it as letter starting with "A".

BTW, you can even restrict the data source based on the user, under Security admin role.

  • Create data source

    Dear,

How can I create a new data source (JNDI) for DB external.

I want to be able to query the DB using JDBC, but I want the data to be managed by nenucleus source.

You can create a component like this:

    MyDataSource.properties

    $class = atg.service.jdbc.FakeXADataSource

    User = user

    password = password

    URL=JDBC:Oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:XE

    Driver = Oracle.JDBC.Driver.OracleDriver

After that, do the injection in the other component:

    OtherComponent.properties

    genericDS = / your/component/MyDataSource

In Java, to get the connection:

    OtherComponent.java

    Private XADataSource genericDS;

    getters and setters...

    Take a look also at:

Configuration of Data Sources ATG for importing data

    I hope it helps.
