Enlarge in lightbox opens in a new window

I added a lightbox Gallery on my site, and it worked very well.  Then, I tried to add more thumbnails and this is when the problems started.  Some of the images bigger don't load at all so I started with a new page/gallery then deleted files on the server and tried to download it again.  The weird thing is that the gallery works fine on my computer, but when I upload to the server and display it on the web it is not working properly.  Larger images will open in a new window Im guess miss me something on the server but I do not know what.  I have reuploaded all on the local server and still nothing.  Can anyone help?

I finally got to work by deleting files off the remote control and by downloading again.  Thought I did that last night, but I guess this morning I did just that I had missed something.

Some Images open in a new window or tab are backwards or rotates 90 degrees, but they appear in the correct position when you use Internet EXPLORER.

I don't even know if it's a browser or a browser-server interaction problem. The problem manifests a certain user forums where members post jpg images that appear as thumbnails. "I can right-click and select"Open in new window"or open in a new tab. Either way some images open OK, some open pivot 90 degrees out of position sometimes upside down. If I use Internet EXPLORE the same images will open on the right side.

Not in bold. Looks like this:
    Layout.CSS.image - orientation.enabled; true
    Status: default
    Boolean type

Laughing out loud! But if I double-click on it replaces:
    Layout.CSS.image - orientation.enabled; false
    Set of users of status
    Boolean type

Now when I right-click the image and select either "open in new tab" or "open in new window" the image is right-side up!

So, I had to reset Firefox to its default settings as a result of a search engine very persistent, and since I did, when I right click on a link and select 'Open in a new tab' or 'Open in a new window' nothing happens. Now I can just left click. And please, suggests not an app or a plug-in. He has done it before, I just want to do it now.

Have you already installed extensions or themes in the new profile?

If menus do not work then the most likely cause is an extension that is not working properly.

I have the option "show my windows and tabs from last time ', but I would like to only the tabs of the last closed window, then when I start firefox, I get my last tabs of my"last sitting"and when I create a new window using ctrl + N, I have just a blank page waiting to be used, instead of a bunch of tabs , I opened the other session x.

my email opens in a new window when I want my mail to open in a new tab in the toolbar when I press the button send. Please can you help?

Oh, Yes, the email link button. Who is supposed to send your mail site instructions to compose a new message with a link to the current page.

This button should call your bet here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > tabs > "open new windows in a new tab instead.

If this is checked , then you should get a new tab. If it unchecked , then you should get a new window. At least, that is how it is supposed to work.

  • When I have 4 or 5 tabs open, by selecting one of them often force this tab to open in a new window and close the original window

FF 32.0.1. Move between the tabs that are already open, clicking on which I opened before forced to close and open in a new window, which is a real pain. It seems to happen when I have 4 or 5 tabs open, rather than 2 or 3.

Only, this happened last week, once reinstalled a clean Windows.

I searched and found a lot of people have problems with the new windows that open when they want just a new tab, but this seems to be on the opening of the fresh rather than return to already open tabs, so I can't find the same problem I describe.

  • Everytime I open a new firefox window, a new tab opens with the new window. How do I stop this?

Everytime I open a new Firefox window, the new window opens to the page of hope (as I want him), but then a tab opens with the new window. I want Firefox to stop doing this. When I open a new window I want just the window to open it. I don't know how to solve this problem I've known idea how I did that happen. First of all, it happened when I hit Ctrl + N to open a new window, but I did not hit the "N" itself. I pressed one of the other keys around the "N" and this issue has started.

    It's quite strange!

  • Web site opens in a new window but has no scroll bar

    Hello
I am a new user, so I'm not yet fully aware of the use of Firefox.

I use http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/ site several times a day. The site is in general more often perfectly OK, but one of the links I use all the time doesn't behave in a usable way. The link on the home page is:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/market_data/ticker/markets/default.stm, which opens in a new window without scroll bars. Can I relative to the size of the window, but not enough to display the entire contents.

If I use the address of the link in a new tab, everything works fine and the scroll bars are present.

I'm migrating from the Opera browser and opera, when I use the embedded link, it opens a new window, but it has the current scroll bars.

Is this a Firefox problem, or maybe the site is at the origin of this problem - I could not guess who.

BTW, the website of the BBC is based, and for users not UK, it can be used completely different pages.

I looked through a bunch of FF options, but so far have not found anything that could be applied to the problem.

IMO, this website is too small size of popup windows setting, don't leave enough room for the content of the page when the viewer zoom in the page.

You can disable this feature this preference by typing about: config.

    DOM.disable_window_move_resize

Double-click this preference to activate to true.

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/about:config

Change dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars true will replace Web site to hide scroll bars.

  • When you click on "don't show this again option" in "Firefox prevented this page to open in a new window or tab," How do you get the window of options again?

I clicked by mistake on the choice of "don't show this again option" in the "Firefox prevented this page open in a new window or tab", and now I can't understand how "uncheck" the box and back again once the window options.

My bad - it was the pop up Adblock Plus 0.7 Addon.

"I went just the Firefox button orange > Modules > Adblock Plus pop-up Addon 0.7 - > Options > my site rules > the site right click > edit > checked 'Block all pop-up windows' and unchecked" this rule applies to: 'New Windows' and 'new tab '.

    Presto! Firefox works as before.

I didn't know I had controls within the addon that would affect the Firefox popup blocks the action.

  • Click on a new website and it will open in a new window?

For some time when I click on a link to something from another web page, it opens in a new window.
Or if I select the option "open new windows in a new tab instead", then all links to a different Web site open in a new tab.
For example if I search something in Google, and then click one of the results of the research. The result opens in a new Web site.
However if I click on something else on the site of Google for example 'Shopping' then it will open in the same page.

The result is very irritating because I find myself with hundreds of windows (or tabs) open.

I suspect that this is a framework rather than a bug because it is 100% of the time.

Any ideas guys? I'd like to go back to normal navigation

  • How to prevent the tabs to open in a new window?

Given that I have updated to the latest version of Firefox, I am plagued with a problem, and I can't seem to stop. When I go back to Firefox and click on any tab, it almost always causes this tab open in a new window. It is a feature - drag a tab in the screen and it will cause this tab open as a window, but I'm not meaning to drag these tabs, I understand! I use Firefox EXACTLY as I've used it for years, but for some reason, it seems to be interpreting my clicks differently - either I'm dragging the tab a * little * bit, or it simply registers that I dragged the tab when I did not. Is there a way to disable this feature? Or a way to decrease the sensitivity of the thing, so that you really need to let slide the tab into the input window opens in a new window? It's really making me batty. I'm about to move permanently to the Chrome.

To be completely clear: what happens when I'm just trying to switch from one tab to another.

You have no need to move your cursor a lot when you press the mouse button causes the tear-off/detachable tab in a new tab. No 'sensibility' that I know. The tab in the new window can be moved to the original window.

To disable the feature, install this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bug489729-disable-detach-and-t/
