  Hi, I'm new to CS6 and worked through the book of Adobe After Effects. Some of the shortcuts do not work for me, probably because I use a German keyboard. In Chapter 11, I have problems because I need to select a layer, go to a specific time and then set to the point, but the [key does not work. Does anyone know a German equivalent or another way to set the point to? Otherwise, if I look at the colored bar in the timeline representing the layer that I want to put a point, can I get the same effect by dragging the edge of the colored bar until I reached the time limit?   I have a Pavilion dv7-6b32us laptop.  Intel CORE i7.  Windows 7.  Nothing added, but the printer drivers and nothing lately.  Yesterday morning keyboard worked fine.  Last night the J K L; were not working.  Clean under the keys.  Then enter key does not.  Have reloaded drivers.  The Enter key on the numeric keypad works ok.  I plugged in a USB keyboard and everything works normally with him.  Any ideas?

  I got a Portege R700 with Windows 7 64 bit.
  This machine starts very slowly after the log in user mode only.

  But still some keys do not work. The Tablet touch power switch, just above the touch pad does not work.
  The Fn F9 works. And the two keys to the right upper corner (ecoUtility/off button and the presentation-Key) do not work. In all three major, I get a pop up saying "this function not taken in charge.

  I just want to capture the UPDATE_DATE and UPDATE_USER in columns in my table during the submission of a form.
  
  I use out of the box 'Process line of TableName' to manage the updates of the table that the form is based.
  
  My thought was to use the calculations Page to replace the: APP_USER in the element UPDATE_USER to a Point of Compuation of 'After Submit' page
  and a query SQL Page calculation 'select sysdate from double' in the point to Point Compuation UPDATE_DATE page of "after"Submit."
  
  I expect this to substitute these new values in the elements of the page before submitting and then save them in the database.
  
  This does not seem to fire - no substitution occurs and no Message error of calculation - appears the table update all columns changed successfully but does not change the columns UPATE_DATE or UPDATE_USER.
  
  Any ideas of what I should check - or should take a different approach?
