Envy 17 t-K200: sudden computer failure - does not load, but the output of the AC charger is OK.

Recently, I unplugged the power supply current to work elsewhere in the House.  When I reconnected the power running and left the computer had entered a deep sleep mode.  He did wake up, and I could go on until the task was completed.  Yet once I left the computer.  When I came back the screen was dark and I assumed that he had turned on the hibernation mode.  However he would not resume.  I checked the plug on the computer for the light, which would indicate that power is being supplied to the computer.  It was DARK.  Because the power supply is plugged into a power strip, I checked to make sure that the band was on.  The indicator light remains DARK.  I plugged in the power supply into a known powered outlet.  The indicator light remains DARK.  Using a voltmeter, I found that was good and the output at the end the power supply DC showed 19,88 volts C.C.  At this point, I assumed that the power Jack cable harness had broken somehow.

Research of the internet, support HP and HP forum pages revealed no clear solution.  "I left a message on.

20/06/16 but have had no answer at this time to propose a telephone conversation.

Since then, I needed to have access to the information on the hard drive.  Removal of the hard drive means that the upper part of the computer had to be removed.  This gave access to the 'power Jack Cable Harness' and inspection at the end of the beam connection seems to be OK.  Visual inspection of the components gave no clear indication of the problem of overheating or else.

I am at the limit of what I can see and need help.

The computer is a HP Envy 17 t-K200 - 17.3 in laptop.  CPUI Intel i7-4720HQ.  The hard drive is 1 TB.  With 12 GB of RAM.  The SN is 6CF518162Z.  The machine is refurbished and is out of warranty as of February 16, 2016.

Apparently, after running the tests on my computer the conclusion strongly implies a failed motherboard.  Attempts to locate a source of reference 793272-601 (preferred) or part number 793272-501 failed.  Therefore, it seems that I'll be compeled to use the service of repair of HP at a high cost.  The good is that it will be a 'huge' 90 day warranty.

    Check your settings

    ICloud opened for Windows and make sure that you are connected to the same iCloud account that you use on your other supported devices.

    Update Outlook

    If you have recently made changes in Outlook that are not updated on your other devices (or vice versa), click the Refresh button on Outlook.

    Turn off iCloud calendar and turn it back on

    1. Close Outlook.
    2. ICloud opened for Windows.
    3. Uncheck the Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks and click on apply.
    4. Wait a few seconds. Select Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks and click on apply.
    5. Open Outlook.

    Make sure that the Outlook Add-in iCloud is enabled in Outlook

    In Outlook 2010 and later:

    1. Click on the file menu.
    2. Click Options in the left panel.
    3. Click on add-ins in the left panel of the window Options in Outlook.
    4. Look at the list of add-ins in the section Active Application Add-Ins.
    5. Select the Outlook Add-in iCloud.

    In Outlook 2007:

    1. On the Tools menu, select Management Center.
    2. Select Add-ins in the left column.
    3. Look at the list of add-ins in the section Active Application Add-Ins.
    4. Select the Outlook Add-in iCloud.

    Make sure that iCloud is not your default account in Outlook

    1. Make sure that the calendar is enabled in iCloud for Windows.
    2. Locate your data in the iCloud folder in Outlook. You can also view your data in deleted items in your Outlook folder list.

    If you find your calendar data in the deleted items folder, it is not because iCloud deleted your data. When you turn on Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks in iCloud for Windows, iCloud copy your calendar for the default Outlook .pst file data in iCloud. Then iCloud removes the calendar of the .pst file data by placing it in the folder deleted in Outlook items. Calendar data then moves to the iCloud data set in Outlook so that iCloud can push data to and from Outlook.

    Since it works fine in safe mode, I suggest you to try to perform the clean boot to safe mode and check if it helps:

    Hey everybody. Since a few days, I have had a hard time charging my iPhone. It all started when my phone onto my computer.     Clean the hole of the support and review it with a bright light. You must get it squeaky clean and without bending the rather delicate pins. And make sure that the bent pins.

    Youre system should boot in AHCI now again. If you get the same message:

    1. enter in BIOS
    2. go in advanced
    3 set mode Compatible HARD drive / IDE
    4. exit & save changes

    To enter the BIOS F2 press until you initialize (directly after pressing the power key press F2 continiously).

    I tried to login to my account to administrator with my correct password and it says "user profile can be connected, user profile does not load correctly ' or something to that effect. Even when I login as a guest and enter my admin password on the user accounts settings and click ok, it won't let me access or modify accounts.     I'm deploy the patch with Configuration Manager 2012 and it came out to the majority of customers successfully.  Configuration Manager does not show the other guests as requiring even the patch, so I think its not required, but the associated dll files show always as old.

    I looked for any other reports of this issue, but nothing comes back.  For any idea or suggestion is appreciated.

If I use IE, the loading of the page of the site with all the graphics, etc. very well, I have all the same features of FF on my laptop. The site opens well on my laptop. What's next?

    If it works in Firefox Safe mode and then disable all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and then try to find out who is causing by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.
