  • Error: "IT TAKES ADOBE FLASH PLAYER TO WATCH THIS VIDEO.

    original title: ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

I uninstalled adobe flash player program from my computer without knowing it can affect the ability to watch badminton on the YOU TUBE videos.  When I tried to watch the YOU TUBE video, the message "YOU NEED ADOBE FLASH PLAYER to WATCH THIS VIDEO". So I downloaded and reinstalled the flash player from adobe program, I thought that this will help you solve problems.  However, next time when I watched the video, same message "YOU NEED ADOBE FLASH PLAYER to WATCH THIS VIDEO" came again.  To the point of occasionally, I am still unable to watch these videos on YOU TUBE.  All comment or suggestion would be appreciated.

Make sure that you install the most recent version of the Adobe Web site:

    http://www.Adobe.com/

    And chose flash player

If you download it on another Web site, then uninstall and install from the Adobe Web site.

Make sure install also that you on the same browser you use to watch Youtube videos. Then restart your PC and see if the problem is solved or not.

  • "error in script on this page" while trying to install adobe flash player 11.4.402.278

    Hello, everyone-

I am a newbie for a long time , so please forgive my ignorance.  I plead for the mercy of the kind and generous people who meet here.

I got a notice on my computer, that he had a newer version of adobe flash player.  that I had at the time was 11.4.402.265.  the new version has been 11.4.402.278.  I got to the place where I thought I was in the right place and click on 'download '.  in a few seconds, I got a message saying that a "script error" had occurred on the page and I wanted to continue to run this script.

    -line 1

    -char 12948

    -error, object EXPECTED

    -code 0

    -URL http://127.0.0.1:1127/app/_js/adobe.js

It seems no matter if I click 'Yes' or 'no' to continue running the script.  the next thing that happens is that I get a second opinion "script error".

    -line 1

    -char 1180

    -error, 'globalActiveActionItems' is undefined

    -code 0

    -URL http://127.0.0.1:2501/app/_js/adobe.js

It doesn't matter if I click on 'Yes' or 'no' on the question of whether I want to continue to run the script.  the screen returns to say that he is "recovering from the install", then I get the message "script error" second once again.  and to make things worse, I can not get rid of the screen "installation of recovery." There the minimiser button and the 'quit' (x) button, but the 'quit' button does nothing, so for now I just reduced it.

What happened here?  What should I do about it?  I tried to go back to the beginning and redo it, but I find myself over and over again with the second message of "script error".  I tried making sure that "script" is "enabled" under "tools/internet options/scripting," then the closing and reopening of internet explore (a suggestion that I found in a similar thread), but the same things continue to happen.

    I'm on a dell optiplex 330, windows XP pro/SP3, IE 8.0.6001.18702.

Thanks to all who have any suggestions for me.

  • How do resolve you this error message that keep popping up - "Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem and needs to close".

I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled and still receive the message.  Any suggestions?

In the forum of Support Adobe their Chris Campbell has announced that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.  As an interim solution, he suggests to change the automatic update to "notify me" when updates are available.  Go to the control panel.  Right-click on the Flash drive.  Click Open.  Click the Advanced tab.  Select the second option "notify me".  I made this change in a few hours and so far no errors arise.  Since they are working on it, I guess that they will release an update to fix the update service!

  • MSG for error ProgramFiles\SearchExtensions\Client.exe & Avira does not update & Adobe Flash Player does not work

Hello.  My computer is running XP.  My cpu is Intel Core 2 Duo processor.  Sometimes I use Firefox and Chrome.

At startup, there is always a prompt that shows "C:\Program Extensions\Client.exe Search make sure that you type the word correctly and try again".  With it, there is a white rectangular black box with label on top "C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe.  With her, I also noticed my antivirus Avira will be not updated.  It says "Your PC does not work properly", and when I click on "Difficult problem", it says "error" and does not always update.  And with her also, I can't update Adobe Flash Player.  It downloads, and then when I click "Run", he always says 'error' could not retrieve the data it needs.

I tried to uninstall and install new Avira, and it's always the same problem.  I am also afraid that I can't watch my favorite videos from YT because it requires an update to Adobe Flash Player.

I searched the internet for problems Client.exe and svchost.exe, and in one of the answers with Client.exe and taskeng.exe problems microsoft, I tried to follow somehow solutions step by step.  They require that you are looking for a task scheduler or folder tasks and I discovered my computer is not all that.  Any Scheduler task and in System32, no task folder.  Because you need to search for files with "rocket" in there and delete it.  Others find it useful.  I don't know if this is the case even with my computer.

I also try to do a system restore.  He has yet to eliminate the prompt error Client.exe and svchost.exe.  After I did, there is a message box that says "Avira CCPLG. XML file is missing.  I searched the internet, but nowhere, you can download this missing file.

I hope that my computer has no need of a reformat.  I hate reformatting.  Also, what is ADWCleaner?  Is it advisable?

Help.  I need "simple" solutions  If you have any other questions regarding this problem, please bear with me, because I'm not a techie.  Hope that everyone out there can help me.

    Thank you.

    Oh Yes...

Looking at a different Google search results, in addition to deleting "rocket"-oriented tasks, they mention using Autoruns to delete any "rocket" focused on the startup items that you may have:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=mKchQdXjuPA

It is a good idea and you can get Autoruns here:

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Autoruns is the program Windows msconfig on steroids.

Just download it, unzip it in our office or somewhere you can find it, run Autoruns.exe, enlarge the window, you can see everything and wait until it finishes populating the list of entries.

When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.

Look at everything and log tabs and you can also see your scheduled tasks.  You can also click on the "Find" button (looks like binoculars) and looking for something to do with the 'rocket', and delete them. "."

The items that appear in a color shrimpy came not "signed" with third party programs, that you have installed, and are not usually a problem.  The manufacturer just didn't "sign" their files properly.

The items that appear in a yellow color are the entries that point to a file, the path, the place that doesn't exist so that they are a bit suspicious because they probably don't make sense more.  I usually just delete those yellow, but sometimes they come back.

Autoruns does not install anything on your system - it just runs on request, so you can keep around or remove it when you're done (nothing to uninstall).
