• 1 source of eBS - 2 planning targets - how to divide the data?

  I use FDM ERPI to load the data of the eBS in Hyperion Planning (eBS 11.5 and EMP 11.1.2.1).
  
  I have load data in planning of 2 databases (which are in the same application of planning), target adapters so 2 and two locations.
  
  The two locations have the same source and the same mapping.
  
  But some accounts must go to app1, while others must go to app2.
  
  But no information in gl on the target application.
  
  How could I do?
  
  The EPMA table or source file to see what plan enter each account is used?
  
  And when I should exclude accounts: in the import action? in the exportToDat?

  Fanny,

  If you will be cutting back, you will need to make separate FDM apps for each target card - it is the only way. FDM creates the drill by definition based on the "installation Code", as some call the default adapter. There cannot be an adapter by default, so to drill at work, it can be a card in the application.

  Until the FDM/Oracle solves this problem, you should not use multiple cards in one drill active FDM app.

• EPMA 11.1.2.1 interface alias of Tables are added as orphans

  I'll put up a shared library of EPMA on the tables of the interface and my aliases are not recognized as an alias. EPMA is trying to import them as members and can not find a hierarchy, then it is adding them to my shared as orphans dimensions.
  
  
  In my database, I have configured as follows (for simplicity, I will use only 1 dimension (in years) and the alias of this dimension).

  and I have this for FY09 - FY16 (alias will be written year 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, etc.)
  
  My alias view looks like this:
  LOADID - PROPERTY - NAME - KEY - VALUE
  NULL - Alias - 2009 - by default - null
  I have a line for each year from 2009-2016
  
  I have created within EPMA, size of alias and the years. I associated the dimension alias to the dimension of the years. I also created the import profile for the dimension of years (PROF_YEARS). In the section card Dimensions, I have the years dimension maps to the library shared years and chosen replacement as the type of process. In the mapping options, only the alias column appears and it is automatically mapped to the Alias.
  
  When I run the profile, I get the following errors:
  'Member '2009' will be added, but it's an orphan. Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  'Member '2010' will be added, but it's an orphan. Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  'Member '2011' will be added, but it's an orphan. Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  'Member '2012' will be added, but it's an orphan. Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  "Member"2013 ' will be added, but it is an orphan." Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  "Member"2014 ' will be added, but it is an orphan." Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  "Member"2015 ' will be added, but it is an orphan." Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  "Member"2016 ' will be added, but it is an orphan." Please see the hierarchy for Member Section/Table.
  (I get this error for each alias that I have)
  
  The members that all added correctly, but the aliases are not added as an alias, but as orphaned members.
  You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

  If you are just using the default alias and you want to put an alias against a member, and then you include it in your hierarchy table.
  You'd have a column called ALIAS = by DEFAULT, for example

  LOADID - PARENT - CHILD - ALIAS BY DEFAULT-= ISPRIMARY
  NULL - YEARS - FY09 - 2009 - 1

  You would then map the column in the import profile

• Evaluation order of setting using the Table of Interface EPMA

  Hello everyone,
  the new post is to share with you a question EMP architect that I don't know how to fix.
  I use table Interface to load several dims on my App. planning and before you deploy it to the EPMA, I check my Dim evaluation order. My choice is very simple: the only Sun crept toward the right the order property of the assessment panel is my Sun account.
  After validation and delpoyment of my App on EPMA (both successful), I noticed that the order of evaluation on the planning app is not the same: no sun is evaluated (empty can on the right panel).
  This problem has upset my forms because I can't use SmartList or percentage account, for example.
  Could someone help me?

• Incorrect names of tables, EPMa

  (Perhaps foolishly), I created some custom interface tables based on generics, but I shortened the HRCY hierarchy, to allow more descriptive table names, for example extensions. This caused an error, "one or more table names interface is invalid", so I fixed the table names, but I'm still getting the error, so I assumed that the original names are cached somewhere or written to a file or a table in my DB schema Hyperion.
  
  Does anyone know where these table names can be saved, so I could change?

• Loading of Shared Library by ODI EPMA

  
  Hi all

  I have a requirement of business I have to load the metadata in shared library EPMA using ODI. The dimensions of EPMA shared library will be used in turn to create a Coordinator application.

  So I need ODI to build dimensions in the shared library. Can you please let me know at the end, what will be my source technologies and target topology Manager(Hierarchy files will be provided as Flat files so I'm guessing my source technology will be File Technology). And that all modules of knowledge will be used on the source and target in the designer.

• Migration Application EPMA classical planning

  Hello world

  I already googled this question, but found no important information. So, can someone help me on this?

  I have been asked to convert a Hyperion Planning of the structure of EPMA application classic planning.  I already know that there is an assistant in workspcae where you can convert the EPMA classic, but I'm not sure if it is possible to convert it back in a classic.

  Is this possible with this wizard, or there is no way to do it?

  There is no wizard to convert, in the planning system database, HSPSYS_PROPERTIES there is a property_name called EDIT_DIM_ENABLED, if it is in EPMA mode it is set to false, in classic it is true.

  In this table, the properties are by application, you will need to find the application = HSPSYS_APPLICATION and match match id to the property-ID and this will give the necessary information change the value.

  All the changes that require a reboot.

  Please note that this does not remove it EPMA you work a process to remove what for example delete the app, rebuild, etc.

• Cannot add another Table of Interface

  Recently, we had to restructure our e planning application to create another application.

  After creating my planning application, we now want to configure a data source in EPM System Configurator to add another table of Interface.

  After searching for some subjects like:

  Does the interface table must have the format (GBA) as a cube dimensions?

  I mean the County and the order of the columns in the interface table should be equal number and the order of the dimensions in cube hyperion?

• EPMA 11.1.2.1 dimension build from FlatFile to EPMA to EssbaseASO using ODI, Member, sort order issues

  We build our EssbaseASO cube using FlatFiles this work who are pushed to EPMA via the interface tables, EPMA Essbase app then is deployed to Essbase, everything is done through an ODI/package interface. The problem I am facing is the order in which members in EPMA appear, even if the FlatFile has the right, sort, at the time where that hierarchies are in the table of interface EPMA that the sort order is changed at random.

  I use the file SQL control add IKM in ODI and somewhere on the way I saw a suggestion to add a new option to insert "ORDER BY" in the IKM. I did it successfully and it has changed the sort order, but is not the correct order (the order in which my flatfile has the dimensions).

  I do not understand why Oracle/ODI needs to randomize the lines without being invited to do! Please let me know if anyone has faced this problem before, and if they have managed to solve.

  EPMA interface tables have a SORTORDER column. Make sure that it is filled with numerical values, sequencing of the order that you want your members to appear in the hierarchies of EPMA and when you import tables interface that this order will be respected. Prior to this function being introduction workaround was to create a view that references the tables interface imposing the required ORDER BY clause, but this is not necessary in 11.1.2.1 just use the SORTORDER column

  The java error I get is: "Registered"Cash"Member Fetch failed." Up to 13/14 load of documents and the new 1 record is rejected.

  "Cash" he already has part of the application to make it load? That is why the utility seems pretty useless with respect to the loading of the new metadata. I already checked that there are no special characters in the name of the Member 'Cash '. There is no empty space at the end of the line. So why would I get this error?

• EPMA planning App stuck 11.1.2.3

  I have deployed an Application of EPMA 11.1.2.3 planning. It has been almost an hour. Looks like that the deployment is stuck at 10%.

  What is the procedure to cancel the deployment?

• How to remove the EPMA planning dimension

  I have a deployed by EPMA planning application. I have also some web forms and BRs in the application. I have to delete 2 dimensions of the application. Is it possible to do this through EPMA or SQL tables? I have found a method which talks about the deletion of references in the planning tables, but they are applied to conventional planning. Someone at - he had experience doing in EPMA?
