Evaluation order of setting using the Table of Interface EPMA
Hello everyone,the new post is to share with you a question EMP architect that I don't know how to fix.
I use table Interface to load several dims on my App. planning and before you deploy it to the EPMA, I check my Dim evaluation order. My choice is very simple: the only Sun crept toward the right the order property of the assessment panel is my Sun account.
After validation and delpoyment of my App on EPMA (both successful), I noticed that the order of evaluation on the planning app is not the same: no sun is evaluated (empty can on the right panel).
This problem has upset my forms because I can't use SmartList or percentage account, for example.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance
Stefano

Can you attribute programmatically size when you use the table in the Cluster service cluster
I use the table of the Cluster service. The only way I know to the size of the cluster is to right click on the function and set the Cluster size. But what happens if the length of my table changes? Is there a way to make the cluster size is the number of elements in the table? Seems like labview should do this automatically at run time. There may be some nodes of property I don't know.
I tried the SQL statements, but it always boils down to having to know the number of columns is in the database prior to execution.
What I did to generate the object to be a cluster to match database fields. My recordset is an array of objects. Then I a vi member to build a recordset from the database and another Member vi to retrieve an array of clusters of the recordset object. If the database changes, I have to change the subject and these two vi. All the other Subvi call these two for the manipulation of data. No other sub - VI have bundle and ungroup functions in them, only the vi of two members. Thus a change in the database requires a change of control and two vi. Not too bad.

Bahchevanov.Create a custom view in the schema of APPS that points to the table in the remote database, and you should be able to create a validated set of values from table based on the custom view. This will require you to create a link of database on the remote database (or a private database link in the APPS schema)

Retrieve and display a result set using the dynamic sql?
Hi all
How would display a result set in Oracle using the dynamic SQL? Reason being, the table where I'd retrieve and display the result set is a GLOBAL TEMP TABLE created in a stored procedure. If I try to use the loop as usual, the compiler complains that the table does not exist. This makes sense because the compiler does not recognize the table because it is created dynamically. Here is an example:
create or replace PROCEDURE maketemptab IS
sql_stmt VARCHAR2 (500);
OutputString VARCHAR2 (50);
BEGIN
-create temporary table
sql_stmt: = ' CREATE of TABLE TEMPORARY GLOBAL globtemptab (id NUMBER, col1 VARCHAR2 (50))';
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt;
dbms_output.put_line ('... created table ');
-Insert a row into the temporary table
sql_stmt: = "INSERT INTO globtemptab values (1, 'some data of a test')';"
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt;
dbms_output.put_line ('... inserted row ');
-Insert a row into the temporary table
sql_stmt: = ' INSERT INTO globtemptab values (2, "some more test data");
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt;
dbms_output.put_line ('... inserted row ');
-Select the row on temporary table
sql_stmt: = 'SELECT col1 FROM globtemptab WHERE id = 1';
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt INTO outputstring;
dbms_output.put_line ('... selected line: ' | outputstring);
-drop temporary table
sql_stmt: = 'DROP TABLE globtemptab;
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt;
dbms_output.put_line ('... moved table ');
-display the result set
for tabdata loop (select col1 from globtemptab)
dbms_output.put_line ('... test of recovered data are' | tabdata.col1)
end loop;
end;
In short, how to rewrite the SQL below the comment "to display the result set" using the dynamic sql?
Thank you
Amedeo.Hello
Try this:
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE maketemptab IS sql_stmt VARCHAR2(500); outputstring VARCHAR2(50); v_cursor SYS_REFCURSOR; v_col1 VARCHAR2(30); BEGIN -- create temp table sql_stmt := 'CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE globtemptab(id NUMBER, col1 VARCHAR2(50))'; EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt; dbms_output.put_line('...table created'); -- insert row into temp table sql_stmt := 'INSERT INTO globtemptab values (1, ''some test data'')'; EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt; dbms_output.put_line('...row inserted'); -- insert row into temp table sql_stmt := 'INSERT INTO globtemptab values (2, ''some more test data'')'; EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt; dbms_output.put_line('...row inserted'); -- select row from temp table sql_stmt := 'SELECT col1 FROM globtemptab WHERE id=1'; EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt INTO outputstring; dbms_output.put_line('...row selected: ' || outputstring); OPEN v_cursor FOR 'SELECT col1 FROM globtemptab'; LOOP FETCH v_cursor INTO v_col1; EXIT WHEN v_cursor%NOTFOUND; dbms_output.put_line('...test data retrieved is' || v_col1); END LOOP; CLOSE v_cursor; -- drop temp table sql_stmt := 'DROP TABLE globtemptab'; EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_stmt; dbms_output.put_line('...table dropped'); END; /

Got a Toshiba 32EL800A - and when I turn there is a telling message "Please re - set using the menu.When I try to tune, it cannot find all the channels.
Sure that's not the antenna he worked 24 hours ago, and there is no weather conditions that would have affected the antenna.
Any ideas?

In my opinion, you need to reset the default settings and should start the search of channel once more.
Make sure you use the right settings (digital or analog tuner) -
HOW CAN I GET A HP LASERJET 4V IN ORDER TO PROPERLY USE THE OPERATING SYSTEM TO XP PRO AND USB USING A PARALLEL CABLE?
The printer works at all with this cable?
The cable has recognized and installed by Windows XP when you logged on to the computer?
If the cable has been recognized, what steps have you taken to install the printer then (be as accurate and complete as possible)?
You get an error message? If so, please provide, without paraphrasing.
This printer has already been installed on this computer? If so, with what type of connection?
And especially, what is the brand and model of the USB to parallel cable? Many of them do not work. See, for example, the comments here , which suggests that 25% of the units will simply not work. This seems to be one of these products you should buy at a local store, rather than on the Internet, then you can continue taking it back until you get a working unit.

Can I get the total number of records that meet the conditions of a query using the Table API?
Hello
A < row > TableIterator is returned when I ask operations using the index of tables. If I want to get the total number of records, I count one by one using the returned TableIterator < row >.
Can I get the total number of records directly meets the conditions of the query?
I can get the total number of records directly the request of the meeting of the conditions of CLI using the command Global table - name tableName - count - index index-name-field fieldName - start startValue-end endValue.
Can I get the same results using the Table API?
I used MongoDB and NoSQL Oracle for about a year. According to the experience of the use of these dbs, I think mongoDB querying interface is powerful. In the contras, the query interface is relatively simple, which results is a lot of work that is usually a long time in the client side.
Hello
Counting records in a database is a tricky thing. Any system that gives you an accurate count of the records will have a hotspot of concurrency on updates, namely the place where the counting is maintained. Such a count is a problem of performance in addition to competitive access problem. The problem is even more difficult in a system widely distributed such a NoSQL database.
The CLI has overall command that counts, but does so by brutal force - iterate keys that correspond to the parameters of the operation. This is how you must do this within the API. There is not a lot of code, but you have to write. You certainly want to use TableIterator
TableAPI.tableKeysIterator (), because a key iteration is significantly faster than the iteration of lines. Just one iteration and count. If you use TableAPI.multiGet () and a key with a touch of brightness full then, in fact, count the results as they are returned in a single piece (a list).

Using the table as a MATLAB script for entry into a Subvi - labview crashes
Hello
I have problems in creating a Subvi, which includes a matlab file that has a table as input.
I created a VI, who runs a simple matlab script, with a table as an input and a table as output. It worked well, until I assigned the terminals in order to to use as a Subvi.
After that the terminals have been assigned, labview crashes instantly when you run the file.
I also created a VI to test the Subvi, but I couldn't make it work at all, labview always crashed...
Does anyone know a solution to my problem? They only thing I can think is to not use it as a Subvi, but then my master file will get huge as all the matlab code would be in there...
attached are two files, so that you can better understand my problem. (test_... is the main file)
any help will be greatly appreciated!
-Jarno
Edit: I'm using labview in 2013 with windows 7 and matlab 2014
Hey, Jarno,.
This is indeed a bug, unfortunately. Currently followed by using identification number of the 446431 cause. The question arise when moving from an array of doubles in the Script node. The only 'solution' at the present time is to use an array of singles instead. We are currently looking to identify a fix.

Use the table of numbers as "item select to compare.
Greetings,
I'm curious to know how to use an array of numbers as value in the tab select edit ideally my "case" would execute an expression "Contains(Locals.arrayofnumbers,0)."
Basic principle:
1 Labview VI launches with ListBox containing all tests (multiple selections enabled)
OUTPUT is an array of I32.
2 I32 table is attributed to Locals.arrayofnumbers
3 Locals.arrayofnumbers is used with the element select 'compare '.
4. each CASE has the statement... "next" Contains(Locals.arrayofnumbers,#)
* each case would have 1 sequence to run *.
Currently TS throws an error prompt indicating that the Select step expected number, that is the table of numbers.
I already found a solution quick and pretty clean by instituiting just a condition prior to each sequence and captured to eliminate flow control all together. But I prefer not to use prerequisites for global flow control if possible and use controls to rate as expected.
I have used TS help, but don't quite give me what I needed. Maybe I didn't use the correct search string. The forum here, is the same. I'm sure that the answer may be there, but maybe I'm using the wrong search string.
Thanks in advance for any help.
To SUM UP: User selects (via LabVIEW listbox) 1 - n tests to be run (output table I32). I32 table is used for the selection of the case by evaluating "contains (Local.arrayofnumbers, 0).
Kind regards

Honestly, a Select System / box is the wrong choice for what you do. I'd go with the prerequisite options. It reduces the number of steps of TestStand.
In your case you just to see whether something exists or not in a table. Ideally, you will use the Select operations / box when you have 1 selected option of many. I suppose you're a loop around the case select so that you can run all the tests so that your code looks something like this:
For N (N is the number of tests they have selected)
Select Locals.ArrayOfNumbers
Briefcase (Locals.ArrayOfNumbers, 1).
Run test 1
Briefcase (Locals.ArrayOfNumbers, 2)
Run the test 2
Select close
Closing loop
If you want to use the Select option / box correctly I would like this:
Item ForEach in Locals.ArrayOfNumbers (assign the item being Locals.i)
Select Locals.i
Case 1
Run test 1
Case 2
Run the test 2
Select close
Close ForEach
I hope that makes more sense. If you have any questions let me know.
Kind regards

Authentication using the table and the existing database
Very new to APEX here. In authentication methods and was curious to know if it is possible to link the Apex on an existing Oracle database and the table to get information for user name and password. Trying to use the employe_id and last 4 of their social.

Help setting up the table/list of choices
Hello:
I create an application where I use a custom authentication scheme and captures all user information in a separate table. When the user logs in he will refer to the table to identify a user name and password stored in the table.
I am allowing users to create their own user accounts that will be default to basic access levels. Further along in the process, users will need to select a person to approve something. I want to use a list of choices so that the name of the approver is entered regularly every time. The user table has the following format:
Default primary key Type Nullable data column name
Username VARCHAR2 (8) No - 1
PASSWORD VARCHAR2 (8) No. -
FNAME VARCHAR2 (30) - No.
LNAME VARCHAR2 (30) - No.
E-MAIL VARCHAR2 (50) - No.
ADMIN VARCHAR2 (1) Yes.
APPROVER VARCHAR2 (1) Yes.
I would like users to be able to choose from a list of choices that displays LNAME, FNAME. I don't know how to make the two fields appear in a list of choices.
Furthermore, I would like to (if possible) to keep the two separate fields for the creation of user accounts so that I can get a coherent LNAME, FNAME format and people are not go backwards (e.g., Smith, Joe c. Joe Smith).
If I can't show the two fields in the drop-down list, is there a way where I could add a free calculation filed to the table that will concatenate LNAME"," FNAME?
Thanks for any help you can provide.RKD,
Create a dynamic list of values.
select lname||', '||fname displayed, username returned from user order by 1
You can view what you want, regardless of the value returned. And that includes the concatenation of elements together (or do other calculations/manipulations).

Control the order of citation in the table of contents
Hi, I created a table of contents that resembles the style of one paragraph for a newsletter. On the first page of the newsletter, there are two articles, and I would like to be able to control what article shows first. Is it possible to do this?
If you look at the picture, I would 'Welcome' appears in front of "Managing your Performance."
Thank you
InDesign will index the table of contents, from left to right first, then from top to bottom. If you cannot use multiple paragraph styles to index the table of contents you can cheat InDesign to think that a text is still left one another.
First, create a text box outside the page on the left side of the page, and bind this text box to the text box of welcome, then Indesign indexes this text box.
This little thing of course only works if you don't not "entered sort in alphabetical order" enabled (Advanced settings) in the Table of contents dialog box.

records_per_block: can be set when the table has a lot of data?
Hello
We have a partition table with a length of middle line of 7K, and there are a lot of the line string. The score is based on the date, old partition will be truncated and reused later. I'm trying to find a way to limit the rows by block 1 (pct_free is another way, but is not reliable), it looks like records_per_block is a parameter that could be defined at the table level. But unfortunately, my test shows that the use of records_per_block, the table must be an empty table and insert a row inside and then set records_per_block, otherwise records_per_block will be ignored. Is there a solution?
SQL> create table t_11 as select rownum a, rpad('x',100,'x') b from dual connect by rownum<100; Table created SQL> delete t_11 where a<65; 64 rows deleted SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER( COUNT(*) ------------------------------ ---------- 121354 2 121355 33 SQL> alter table t_11 minimize records_per_block; Table altered SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER( COUNT(*) ------------------------------ ---------- 121354 2 121355 33 SQL> insert into t_11 select * from t_11 where rownum<100; 35 rows inserted SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER( COUNT(*) ------------------------------ ---------- 121354 37 121355 33
A solution that is not quite perfect - alter table XXX pctfree, pctused 99 1.
Unless your beginning of lines off incredibly short it will probably limit you to one line per block for the future DML.As a guideline for "ranks shortcuts" (and this may vary slightly depending on whether you use SAMS or not):
SQL> insert into t1 values(rpad('x',42)); 1 row created. SQL> insert into t1 values(rpad('x',1)); 1 row created. SQL> select rowid from t1; ROWID ------------------ AAAY2bAAFAAAA4KAAA AAAY2bAAFAAAA4LAAA
Your analysis of the rows_per_block is not quite right — but the critical point is correct, it is very difficult to get the recorded "records per block" reduced once you have data in place. Here is an improved version of your test cut-n-pasted from a SQL * Plus term in 10.2.0.3:
SQL> @temp SQL> set echo on SQL> SQL> drop table t_11; Table dropped. SQL> SQL> create table t_11 as select rownum a, rpad('x',100,'x') b from dual connect by rownum<100; Table created. SQL> SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER(ROWID) COUNT(*) ------------------------------------ ---------- 5642 66 5643 33 2 rows selected. SQL> SQL> delete t_11 where a between 31 and 70; 40 rows deleted. SQL> SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER(ROWID) COUNT(*) ------------------------------------ ---------- 5642 30 5643 29 2 rows selected. SQL> SQL> alter table t_11 minimize records_per_block; Table altered. SQL> SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number (rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER(ROWID) COUNT(*) ------------------------------------ ---------- 5642 30 5643 29 2 rows selected. SQL> SQL> insert into t_11 select * from t_11 where rownum<100; 59 rows created. SQL> SQL> select dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid),count(*) from t_11 group by dbms_rowid.rowid_block_number(rowid); DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER(ROWID) COUNT(*) ------------------------------------ ---------- 5644 33 5642 33 5643 33 5645 19 4 rows selected. SQL> spool off
I delete the last lines 36 to one block and the first 4 lines on the other. For this reason, Oracle is capable (on the block drain plug) to reduce the size of the + 'line directory' + in the first block by removing the pointers 'empty' to the end of the book - but it cannot eliminate all entries in the directory of the line of the second block because the "empty" pointers are not at the end of the directory.
Code to determine the limit on the number of lines per block looks like the size of the largest directory online - not the current number of rows in the block.
In my example, the largest directory of line is 33 because the last 34 entries have been pruned at the end; in your example, the largest directory of line was still 67 because your deletion had left two rows at the end of the directory.
