Equium A100-027 - cannot reinstall the package of added value

I have a problem with Toshiba Flash Cards not working not on my computer, which I'm trying to fix as my system has been running more slowly recently.

I have updated my BIOS and now I want to reinstall my package to add value. However, when I use the program function uninstall in Control Panel, it freezes when I click on Yes to confirm uninstall program.

Can anyone help with this please?

Thank you

Hi Bear22!

This also occurs if you try to uninstall another program? It is maybe something wrong with Windows or in the s register. You must install CCleaner, which is a very nice tool to clean the registry. It works with few clicks and quite well, never had any problems. Check it!

I've never had a problem to uninstall PPV so I m of ideas. Restoring the system to a previous State might be able to help you

  • Satellite P755-103 - cannot install the package of added value

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite P755-103. In order to maintain the updated drivers, I downloaded Toshiba Value Package added to the downloads section of the page Web of Toshiba. (2 times, I'm sure that the driver is for my 64-bit version of Windows 7).
When I tried to install it, I got the repair and the options remove. Repair gave me this error: RegDBGetItem failed (1). So I removed completely the driver so that I can install it again. During the installation of the driver that I got the same error, so I couldn't install it, so now I'm unable to activate the shortcut keys PVAT gives me access.

If anyone knows something that might help with this problem please say something, it would be very apreciated.
    Sorry for my English.

    Thank you

    Hello

Value added package is still listed in the list of Windows software? If so, I would recommend removing it. Then restart your computer and try to reinstall the VAP.

If it doesn t work I would try CCleaner. That is a nice freeware tool to clean the registry. You can find the tool using Google. Just run the registry cleaner and then you should be able to install VAP.

Generally speaking, it s is not necessary to update the drivers if everything is ok. If you n t have any problems you can forget about these updates. ;)

I uninstalled the package of value added and tried to install back value-added package but it was - this

Is that what I can do without having to install the new os?
I tried CNettoyez but it didn't work.

    Please help ~!

I ve reinstalled VAP several times and have never seen anything like it.
When VAP is removed from the laptop the system must be restarted and then you can install the latest version of VAP.

Have you downloaded good PPV for your laptop model?
Are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?

  • Re: How to remove the Package of added value?

I'm having issues (media buttons no longer work) with the package of added value of Toshiba (TAVP) on my Portege M800.
I want to update, but I can't do it before removing the old version of the TAVP. When I try to install the new TAVP, I get an error message saying that I need to remove the old version first.

Problem is, I can't find the TAVP on my "Add/Remove Programs" list The internet said it should be on the list, but it is not. The programs are on my computer.

They do not seem to be among the programs 'package of added value '. How can I remove the TAVP?

I use Vista and Win7 long on two laptops from Toshiba. On two of them Toshiba Value added Package is listed in the control panel > programs and features and then you can start to uninstall option.

I've done this several times. It must be there. He is listed as TOSHIBA Value added Package. Check it out at the bottom of the list under T.

  • Equium A100-027 - Question about the installation of Win 7:32-bit or 64-bit

    Hello

    I have an Equium A100-027
I have just ordered an upgrade to 2 GB RAM and want to do a new install of WINDOWS 7 on Vista.

Should I go for the 32-bit version or 64 - not sure if I need one over the other based on the processor?

    Thanks in advance

    David

    Hello

Windows 7 32 bit supports max 3.2 GB of RAM
In case you want to upgrade the RAM to 4 GB of RAM, I recommend to choose Windows 7 64-bit to be able to use all 4 GB of RAM

The processor is an Intel Pentium T2060 that supports 32-bit but physical address Extensions is based on 32 bits, which allows x 86 processors to access more than 4 GB of physical memory

  • Setup error during installation of the package of added value

I just installed PVAT v 1.2.40. However during the installation I get an error - Setup PVAT Error (Ox8145030B). I have also tried to re - upload the files, and then repeat the installation with the same result. All ideas

    Hi Rpayne32,

    What laptop you have exactly?
Where did you downloaded package of added value?
The operating system that is pre-installed in Toshiba or your own installation of Windows that you are using?
Try you added value package update or new installation?

In my opinion, you should check your antivirus or firewall. I think that something is blocking the installation.

  • Satellite Pro C70 - B - 12 c - installation of the Package of added value

    Hello technician,

could someone explain how to install the PPV on the Satellite Pro C70 - B - 12 c.
I installed Windows 7 on the new Machine and want to use the utility function key.

I downloaded the compatible vap on the driver download site. In the next step, I tried to install the PPV on the Archive of Toshiba Extractor. If I let install it automatically, I m only get the ODBC Driver-Installation Windows. So I canceled the Installation of the ODBC driver - and start the program installation of archive extracted.

After the complete Installation, the function keys and the utility of the Flash card can be used. But the Flash card utility displays badly on the assigned keys functions. for example, on the keyboard the F11 key shows the power of the speaker function.

The Flash Card utility indicates the Escape key for the same function switch (speaker). After the Installation of the vap, none called buttons work.

I ve tested the function Key Utility for Windows 8.1. But this test was unnecessary.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello

Installation of VAP is not very complicated.
You need to download the package.
Save it to the disk (to office) and unzip the package (right click on unzip)

    > In the next step, I tried to install the PPV on the Archive of Toshiba Extractor.
I m just wondering what you mean by install over?

As I said earlier, after a clean install of Windows 7, you could install the VAP. But first this package must be decompressed. To decompress the package, you can use a program like WinRAR or WinZip

  • Impossible to uninstall the package of added value

The most recent version of the value-added Package invites you to uninstall the old. But when try to uninstall it gives "error reading settings init.". file '.
Is it possible to force the uninstall?

It's very strange and I think you're the first person who says something like that. When I got my Satellite A200, I two days played with Vista and process facilities. Removal of the VAP was simple and without any problem. Facilities update was also OK.

Try to install the OS by using recovery media, remove all software, you do not need and at least VAP. What finish install the latest version and everything should be OK.

  • Equium A100-027 - where can I download the drivers?

    Hi all

    I had * Toshiba Equium A100-027 * laptop to the United Kingdom and model: * PSAAQE-007008AV *.
I tried online for LAN, audio drivers for XP operating system drivers, but I have not found all the drivers on a Web site for Toshiba Equium a100-027.

Please give me suggestion how to get drivers to download.

    Thank you
    Leane

    Hey, Leane,.

Hmm... Looking for drivers for Windows XP for Equium A100-027? Well, I checked the page of download driver Toshiba Equium A100 (PSAAQE) and I must say that I can find all the drivers for it and also the installation instructions document.

I think you should check the page again:

    Laptop > Equium > Equium A series > Equium A100 (PSAAQ) > Windows XP

  • Equium A100-027 touchpad not responding

I have an equium a100-027 and today the touchpad was funny.
For example, I went to move and sometimes it wouldn't be no move, moved very little, or when he moved quickly moved to around to the same place that it was before.

I assumed that maybe it's just that my computer has been used too much memory or something. But then later, it no longer responds. I restarted my computer and the same problem, it does not move.

Before anyone suggests, I in fact checked all the settings for it. I know there is a shortcut (fn + f9) to turn it off.
However, I already checked and it is activated.
I am falling quickly with this computer, six months old and already had two problems with it.

Anyone can suggest a way to solve this problem, or should he be returned to be repaired?

If it must be returned, how should I do this?
I bought of Dixons, and when I came down to them with my last number, they said they have no responsibility and I had to call "the tech guy".

This ended up being A £1.50 tech support number overcharge, which I'm not call again.
This laptop has only 6 months, clearly under warranty. I don't have to pay who knows how much on a phone call just to get it fixed.

Sorry if this sounds like a hangover, just in a bad mood with this computer at the minute.
    Thanks for any help! =-)

    Hello

I see that you're desperate. Sorry to hear this story.
But before you send this laptop to any point of service, you must reinstall the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD.

This procedure will put the laptop to factory settings!

If the touchpad does not work after reinstalling new contact ASP in your country.
The service provider authorized in your country will be able to help you and if your warranty is valid, everything must be done for free.

I can't believe that the appeal could cost about £1.5 because it s a common phone number.

If you want to find the ASP please check this:

  • Equium A100-027: could not find the drivers for Windows XP

    Hello
I bought an equium A100-027 and, because of my work, I want to use a personal OS XP - Pro, I bought the retailer 2006 Microsoft.
The problem is that XP installs successfully, but I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba Download Page.
The laptop TYPE is witch PSAAQE is not listed. I tried to use the drivers provided by other series A100 PSAAxxx but XP does not accept. I managed only with the Intel graphics driver... How can I do?
I sent a mail to support Toshiba in France and they redirect me to the download page of drivers even DO NOT contain any driver for my laptop... (it does not appear there).
It is mandatory for me to use XP - Pro, because we use it for industrial automation, so I can't use Vista! seriously, I bought a PC that do not work on XP?

    Best regards

    Hello

You re right. I also checked the site and don't find your notebook in the series.
Hmm you have tested other drivers Equium A100 series but also check the Satellite A100 series pilots.
The Equium A100 Satellite A100 and very similar specifications and possibly some drivers will also work on yours.

Toshiba Canada also provides different drivers. Take a look at this page:
