  I updated updater manual update and have not updated anything since early December, 01/30/10 I installed the 5 important updates that were listed, I don't remember who they were, after installing the computer needed to restart and after the recovery, the video card is no longer recognized.  I get the BIOS beep code for no video card or bad video memory.  I know that this seems to be a hardware problem, but this computer worked fine until these updates. Now that the video card is not recognized, I can't even get into the BIOS, and still less actually starting windows. Any help/ideas what caused this and how can I fix this are greatly appreciated, thank you very much. Even a list of the latest important updates might be useful, I can't seem to find a list of anywhere.

  Palit-card nVidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics card

  Oh and I took out that graphic card and put in a different one, nVidia PNY GeForce 7900 GS and always get the same error code. I also disconnected and removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the BIOS, still the same problem.

  This problem seems to be due to the updates of Windows, although it could be a coincidence.
  I first you recommend to remove the nVIDIA graphic card and connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card, then try to start the computer.
   
  If the problem persists then I recommend you to contact the computer manufacturer for assistance.

  I have Satellite L40-12 X and I installed windows XP, evrything works fine expect WLAN card.
  Drivers for this card are not working and I am sure I have good drivers.

  I even tried other drivers realtek and nothing :||
  Card normal detcted and it worked on normal vista.

  The satellite L40 12 X seems to belong to the PSL40E series.
  WHY you said so I didn t drivers XP ALL found for this series:

  To my knowledge the Realtek Ethernet controller is a * LAN card *!
  In your notebook ATHEROS, 11 b/g WLan card has been installed.

• I tried to update my device driver and now the graphics card is not recognized.

  I tried to install and upgrade for my device and driver after not installed upgrading my dxdiag shows no specification of video card and the game I play sends a message indicating the TI can not find a graphics card.  I'm afraid to do anything until I know it won't make the situation worse.

  The antenna is placed under the cover of the display and cables are placed under the keyboard or with other words, they are connected to the wireless network card.

  By the way: an upgrade to the draft N standard is not possible. In my view an update of the WLAN card is not logical.

  On the main site and the support site, it is not called as my Toshiba Notebook: Satellite A100-063. Where can I find the drivers? I have download the drivers a lot of producers of chips, installed them and all the right function except LAN port.

  Can someone tell what kind of chip that model uses?

  As mentioned above, you won't find the name of mobile integer in the form of driver download but the part of the serial number. You must choose the Equium A100 (PAAS)

  Go to the Toshiba Europe site:

  You should read the information in the installation instructions. You must follow the installation order in this document.

• Satellite A100 683: can I upgrade the internal card?

  can someone tell me if it is possible to replace the original map (3945ABG) of the Satellite A100 683 by a new, n support card (4965AGN)?

  I would say that it should be possible since both are mini pci cards and I use Windows Vista (which is a system for the 4965AGN requirement), but it would be nice to have a confirmation before buying this card.

  What card do you mean exactly?
  Do you mean the LAN or WLan?

  I ask because I m not 100% sure what car say you, but to my knowledge only the WLan card is removable!
  As you say it s card miniPCI and especially two wires connect the card with the motherboard
  Both Brown and white cables connect the WLan antenna.

  However, theoretically, it should be possible to use another wireless network card but I see really no reason that these updates.
  If you have a Vista compatible driver for your card, then everything should work great.

  Each unit with wireless card has a label of WiFi in the lower corner, and the card is also listed in Device Manager. Unfortunately I found the info Equium A60 isn't ready WiFi and only solution is the card PCMCIA WLAN or same USB.

• Satellite L20-181: the WLan switch is not available - cannot activate the Wlan antenna

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L20-181 and I bought an Intel Mini PCI Wifi Pro/Wireless 2200BG so that I place it in the empty Mini PCI connector it has in order to have the wireless.

  While I placed it on a regular basis also antennas etc the Intel utility sends me a message that the network connection is disabled and that I should use the switch on the front panel of the laptop to turn it on.

  This switch located in the laptop from the front is a button that is not reinforced.

  I guess the minPCI wireless network card is hidden somewhere under the keyboard.
  You need to remove the keyboard first, if you want to get access to the Wlan card.

  But I wouldn't remove the keyboard, because in the worst case, you could lose the warranty!

  you need a platform swap (Exchange a product Adobe of a different version of the language or platform) but which is only supported for the latest versions of adobe.

  You can get the upgrade pricing and exchange platforms, or use an abonnemement DC acrobat and use on both platforms.

  I think that the authorized service provider is good and the graphics card can't be upgraded. It s soldered on motherboard and nontradable. :(
