Equium A200 PSAF5E - World of Warcraft problems caused by graphic drivers?

Support Blizzard sites assume that Intel 965 graphics drivers must be updated to support the new patch of games. The driver for the A200 PSAF5E available on download from Toshiba site is 2007, are there not more recent driver available?

Hello

If you will not find the update of the graphics on the page of Toshiba driver you get on 3 third-party pages.
Then, you could install the driver in Device Manager.
Here, you will need to use the Advanced installation procedure and have point to the downloaded driver files.

It still works.

  • Need drivers of Windows XP Home for my Equium A200 (PSAF5E)

I have an Equium A200 PSAF5E, which came with Vista installed, because of Vista was total garbage.
I formatted my laptop but can t locate any drivers for Windows XP.

Could someone tell where I can download the drivers for XP, so that I can get my laptop working again, please?

Windows Vista is not an option that I don't have a Vista disc installation and disappeared totally hard drive, so there is no recovery console.

Never trust a seller as the salesman said we support for XP and I could put XP on this laptop, if I choose to but as I have said that there is no drivers for XP on the Toshiba site.

    Thanks for any help.

    Edit:

I browsed the forum and someone else has the same problem as me and he was advised to do the following

"Either you have to download on the site of Toshiba or the Intel Web site Intel Matrix Storage Manager directly.

On the Toshiba page, you will find the Intel storage Manger under
    Notebook-online satellite-online series Equium => Equium A200 (i.e. PSAE8)-Online Storage Manager"

I can't make any sense it and don t understand how a Matrix Storage Manager could include the drivers for all devices on my laptop
Could someone please explain in simple terms where to download the drivers for my Equium A200 PSAF5E for all devices such as wireless LAN, video, chipset, audio, etc.?

    Thank you once again.

I think that Equium A200 doesn't is not supported for Windows XP, because on the Toshiba site there are no drivers for XP.
Of course, you can install XP, but you will find all the drivers. That's the problem.

But you can search on external Web sites for pilot.
    For example

    -Intel chipset: [www.intel.com]
    -Realtek soundchip: [www.realtek.com]
    -WLAN driver: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
    -Bluetooth: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/

    Good luck!

Any idea on how I can put them up yet? Any software, driver or what else?

    Simone

    Hello Simone

If you want to downgrade OS on your Vista preinstalled laptop, it's very important to do BIOS update. If I remember correctly, it must be updated to BIOS version 5.20. Please check on the Toshiba download page.

After the BIOS update, please install all the stuff of the Toshiba download page according to document Instructions of facilities. The order of the facilities is very important. In this case, everything should work well.

Please be careful with the update of the BIOS. Download update for your model of laptop tracking number PSxxx. Before you begin to update BIOS don't forget that the laptop is connected to the power supply current.

  • Problem with the graphics drivers in ThinkPad SL510

    Hello guys.

I have a ThinkPad SL510 with Intel Pentium T4500 @ 2.3 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. It currently uses the Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, which is very slow and even Counter Strike 1.6 has frame drops each time only and then. So I visited the page drivers for SL510 and there is a driver graphic AMD listed that will allow a card ATI Mobility in the laptop. But the problem is that I have download the package and it does nothing. It installs only certain ATI Catalyst etc. but none of the graphics drivers at all, my laptop always uses the base Windows XP ones.

Any suggestions? I want to unlock the ATI card so its possible since its going to be better for the play of light.

    Thank you!

It's the original of your SL510 config

You have only Intel graphics, install drivers ATI will simply not work since you don't have any ATI hardware on your laptop.

  • Speed of memory - Equium A200 PSAF5E

    Hi all

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 - 1V0
    Model no. PSAF5E - 001003sp
BIOS version updated to v. 2.50

Everest Ultimate 4.5.1330 says I have 2 GB of RAM, two sticks of Samsumg DDR2-667. Also, he also says that my FSB is 133 Mhz with the correct speed of the CPU and multipier.

The problem with the speed of the memory. It shows the capable DDR2-667 sticks and chipset, but DRAM ratio: FSB is set to 8:4 resulting in DDR2-533, in any profile of energy. The system works in configuration dual-channel 128-bit, so I lose 2144 Mbps of transfer speed.

The chipset is identified as a website Intel Crestline-GML GL960, Everest and Toshiba show as claims the site Intel Web capable, DDR2-667 on DDR2-533.

I have found no info motherboard or manual, so here are my questions:
-Is it normal speed or can I expect mode DDR2-667 with this system?
-Is the speed drop memory in dual-channel mode?
-If I re - install the memory modules one by one and change the position could reset the values of the speed of the system?
-Can I access any hidden BIOS settings to tweak the memory? (I have a system of Medion who hid and protected by word accessible via F11 instead of F2 BIOS mode where I can find a lot of options is not not in the normal BIOS F2)
    D ' other ideas?

Thanks in advance. Any help would be much apreciated.

  • Equium A200 PSAF5E - internal speakers working but headphones are not

    Hey guys,.

I have a problem with my Equium A200PSAF5E,

My sound is perfect, however when I plug in my headset, nothing.

My headphones are 'connected' and when I do the 'test' headphones I hear the sound through the headset.

This is driving me crazy because I can hear the TV hidious

    Help

    Michael

It's very strange. So you're sure that your headphones are 100% ok?
Have you tested your helmet with other devices?

Have you tried to update the audio driver? If this is not the case, the update.

But not to be honest, it looks more like a fault of headphone jack to listen like a software problem.

In any case, it should be to update the audio driver

  • Equium A200-15I - random crash & startup problems

    Hello

I recently experienced a few problems that began with intermittent "block white screen" - keyboard not responding, only one capable of re - start by the power button Manual on my laptop. He spent a few times now and not appear related to any program I use (it crashes just awaiting a response to a program). The screen is usually, but not always, the whites when it occurs (it crossed my mind that color [a uninterrupted tone] seems to be regardless of the predominant color on the screen was just before the accident).

Since then, despite a few days without error, the problems have intensified: today the computer had problems to feed to the top at all. When she did I had the normal thing "could not start properley last time... check/correct errors. He reappeared, and random crashes.

I use mainly from Vista, but I don't have a dual-boot option that I put in place because when the system boots (the drive is partitioned), so I also use XP occasionally. The accidents occurred in the two operating systems.

Here's what I did in the way of diagnosis/fixing the problem:
-Scan/repair disk returned no error hard drive that I could see.
-Ditto for the RAM (I also checked to see if it was mounted properley)
-As far as I can tell the fan is working properley and I cleaned up (I thought that accidents can be related to overheating).
-J' used service of Toshiba Tempro to search for the drivers and updated and there is no update imprtant absent from my machine.

I think I can anticipate the advice're - format and restore to factory settings', but I have a very good reason for what in fact a very last resort. I'm due to hand in my thesis at the end of the month and there are a lot of programs and customizations, that I can't afford to lose right now. But if necessity...

Help! It is massively distracting for me right now...!

Thank you very much, Richard :-)
p.s. I might add that I am about six weeks out of warranty (the laptop is just over a year - purchased from Curry). I don't know what the policy is to support and repairs out of warranty, but this should not be happening with an old 1 year machine! Cheers :-)

How did you test the RAM? Use www.memtest.org

It could be a motherboard or the failure of the VGA card.

You are able to access the BIOS?
If Yes check if the HARD drive and the CD/DVD has been recognized correctly.

  • Problem with update graphics drivers on Satellite A200 - 1 M 8

I want to have the new catalyst (7.11) installed on my laptop, it seems that Vista does not recognize it as a new driver, but he said that present one (probably 7.09) is up-to-date.

What I would do in this situation? I heard this is a common problem when Vista does not accept new graphics card on laptop drivers - what then?

    Hello

The laptop manufacturers used different and all display drivers are suitable for mobile computing. Design of portable computers is quite different, and all hardware components are placed on the square. Laptop to the manufacturer should take care of the overheating and protection of equipment.

Using a few other drivers can result in equipment overheating, sudden closures or even damage the hardware. Because of this, there is a mechanism to avoid installing the non-Toshiba display drivers.

    Hi, I have a 1V0 Equium A200 (PSAF5E)
    I am running Windows 7 32 bit.

I recently updated my router to a Netgear DGND3700.
I bought a wifi card mini pci Atheros AR5008, the problem I have is that my computer does not detect it at all (Device Manager). I tried used updated my bios tried several drivers different, but still it will not be detected in the Device Manager.

Any help would be appreciated, because it really does my head.
    Thank you

And you are sure that this card is compatible with the motherboard and your laptop can be improved with this WLAN card to 100%?
As much as I know BIOS update will not help at all. The BIOS updates are available to fix the other things and not to offer the best hardware support.

Equium A200-PSAF5 seems to be equipped with the Realtek Wlan card and the Wlan driver should be downloaded from the Toshiba Wlan Portal:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/ or from the Toshiba driver page.

  • Computer crashing when World of Warcraft

The question that I have is a complete system failure. Problem may occur after a few minutes of play for hours of play. It usually causes a glitch right brief rehearsal sound when it starts. If I can the ctrl + alt + delete in a few seconds, I can normally return to the office safely, otherwise it requires a full restart of the PC. When I am able to get into the Task Manager, it will show as WoW does not not and won't react to open windows. Only method to get the system under control is to right-click on wow on the taskbar and close manually.

    Items tried:
    (1) removal of driver and reinstall (video)
    2) reinstall of DX11
    (3) removal of the WTF, Interface and Cache folders
    (4) minimizing video game record
    underclocking 5)
heat 6) online test with download free (coretemp) current 32 C max 35 ° C
    (7) uninstall and reinstall wow
    (8) power cycling completed (router, adapter, etc.)
    9) updated drivers for the NETGEAR
    (10) turned off the coast of security during the attempt to play
    (11) ran sfc/scannow
    (12) DxDiag obtained (at the bottom)
MSInfo got 13) (see info below)

I got my start and settings in the original game, they do not appear to changes and updating my drivers for wireless cards. Hello

    ·         Have you installed the drivers for video card more recent NVIDIA site?

    ·         Other games work fine on the computer?

    ·         Were there any changes made on the computer before the show?

I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps form the article and check if it helps.

  • Windows XP and Satellite A200 PSAF5E

I am trying to install windows XP on EQUIUM A200 PSAF5E, but I can't. I had followed the link:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=107596

and according to the instructions it looks very easy, but the link to download the drivers, download an EXE file instead the INF file. I can't create a new CD with NLite boot because I can not extract the INFs to compilate in a new CD.

    Someone knows how to do...

    Thank you.

    Hello

Don t use all websites 3rd party SATA driver download.
Either you need to download the European of Toshiba on-site or on the Intel site Intel Matrix Storage Manager directly.

On the Toshiba page, you will find the Intel storage Manger under
Computer laptop satellite - series Equium A Equium A200 (i.e. PSAE8) Storage Manager

This package contains the INF files

    Good bye

  • Satellite A200 and Win7 - problem loading the graphics driver

Hi guys I have a problem with my Satellite A200 (PSAF6A).
I installed windows 7 just now, now half the time when I start the computer it displays a message on windows encounters a problem loading the graphics drivers and the resolution is terrible. When I restart immediately, most of the time, it loads fine - no message and a good resolution. I tried many driver reinstall but it is always the case.
Someone knows what's the problem? Is this with windows 7, or do you think the graphics card can be on the road to extinction?

Thanks for your help, a lot.
    -Chris

    Hello

It was ok before installing windows 7? I don't think it's a hardware problem. Have you installed the driver for the Toshiba driver page?
