Error 0XC004E003 activation code

Hello I have a laptop that came with windows vista but with an upgrade to Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. Working since 2011.   2 months ago my hard drive failed and I reinstalled win 7 on a new hard drive.  Everything worked OK until now. Windows saying that it is not authentic.  I did all the instructions of forum for this error.  My copy of Windows 7 is legitimate.  I get the error code is 0XC004E003 Description: the software licensing service reported that license evaluation failed.     I ran scannow and had any errors.   I'm past my MGADiag here results.

I would appreciate help with this.   Thank you

Hello Gerry, and André

I solved the problem that I think I can be created in the first place.  When I did the original installation way back to where I bought the computer I did an upgrade from Vista to Win 7, I have used a product key but it activated.  I wondered at the time and I used one of these key finder programs and writes the key on the cover of the dvd win 7 (which is the key, I tried).  When I did this last installation of win 7 I didn't install vista first and also, there is no request key and going until a few days ago, I did not notice if it was activated before that but I guess she didn't.    Today I was rummaging through my software disks and I found an asus win 7 drivers Dvd still sealed, which I've never used (I'd like to get the drivers from the site so that they are the most recent.) and on the back, I found a (Win Vista to Win 7 Pro UPG fill). Product key I might add activated.  I feel a little embarrassed.  Although I wonder why microsoft and asustek technicians that I talked to pick this up.  Other information I had read on the internet indicate that product ending by PV9HW key is the key to ASUS for all laptops asus with win 7 and it uses the serial number of the motherboard somehow?    I'm sorry to have wasted all the time.  I'll add the MGADiag scan after activation below in case it helps someone else.

Henry

  • Error 0xC004E003 activating Windows 7

My brother just bought a laptop from someone today. The current facility was completely bogged down with all its software and things. I decided to do a clean install would be faster than uninstalling and it cleaning. I gathered the information of product key for any product of MS (Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows 7 Professional). There is no COA sticker on the bottom of the laptop (it might have been for Vista since it's what was initially on this laptop from the factory). After getting the installation done, I check the properties of the system and to see that the product key is considered invalid. I try to copy and paste this time from the text file I exported and it gives me this error 0xC004E003 [Software Licensing Service reported that the license evaluation failed]. Honestly, I don't know if the product key is illegitimate. I have not encountered an error like this before (and it's quite ambiguous). I would try to activate by phone, but there is no option to do so. So far, I came across MS response items that say to open the run (Windows key + R) dialog box and put in SLUI.exe 4/slui/slui 4. It comes up with a similar dialog box (buy a new product key, type a different product key or contact Microsoft). Contact Microsoft opens the Help Center (not the phone activation window/Assistant).

How can I get this resolved?

    your choice is:

    1. buy a true win 7 pro license and change the key. (or any edition of windows 7 and install it.)
    2. see if your recovery partition is intact. Check your documentation or your factory Web site for instructions on how to use it. You can also order your manufacturer OEM recovery disks. (this is for vista)
The key that you shot won't do you any good because it only works with manufacturers of OEM recovery media and appropriate in your bios slic table.
  • Unable to activate Windows, error wrong activation code

I bought a 2006 Dell Studio 1555 with Windows 7 Pro/service pack of a member of my family about six weeks ago. It came with an installation disc (not OEM) and a key product, but when I did a reinstall of the computer keeps telling me that it is not the right activation code. It is also very slow during the update of Windows. I checked the product with Winkeyfinder 2.0 key and the program says it is the correct key but microsoft won't always validate. I have always used and had good results with Microsoft products up to now. I was just wondering if it is my mistake to correct or someone elses. I used windows os since version 1.0 and have never had this kind of problem. Please help me find an answer. Thank you

Is the product key for the edition on the sticker at the bottom of the laptop COST corresponds to which edition of Windows 7 installed?

If it isn't, then its probable not authentic.

Click Start, right click on computer

    Click on properties

Go to the Windows edition section

Please run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics Tool then copy and paste the results into an answer here for further analysis:

Need help please, I got a computer game built for my son a couple of years and it came with windows 7. It has updated earlier this year to 10 windows, don't want and reset on windows 7. Since then we still get a message saying that it is not a genuine copy of windows 7, but when I go to activate using the product key (also tried to change the product key), I get an error 0xC004E003. I haveread some of the son but I don't know if mine is the same problem. I copied information on diagnosis and hope that there is someone out there who can help me. My son plays on Roblox games and it has stopped working, it may have nothing to do with it, but it has only stopped working since the debacle of windows 10 and now he drives me crazy.

    Thank you

    Debra

You use a Windows 7 Ultimate OEM SLP license only for computers as a DELL, HP, Lenovo or Acer on a generic motherboard. You must purchase a real full version of Windows 7 license:

    Windows product key: *-* - Q6MMK - KYK6X-VKM6G
Windows Product Key hash: 289NoAWl2ZoVfuieux/315WkDIc =
    Windows product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00173
    Windows product ID type: 2
    Windows license Type: OEM SLP

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

You use a Lenovo Windows 7 Ultimate OEM SLP key operated on a Toshiba Satellite:

    Windows product key: *-* - YG69F - 9M66D-PMJBM

You need to reinstall the original version of Windows 7 that comes with your system:

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

    Toshiba

    https://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/serviceUnitVerification.jsp?orderType=SFF

    1-800-457-7777

    ------------------------------------

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

    Option 1:

If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.

    Option 2:

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.

    Option 3:

If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

  • Receive error 0xC004E003 code when you try to activate Windows 7.

    Windows Activation does not work!

I wanted to do a clean install of windows 7 pro, so I erased the hard drive, then re-installed from disc. Now I can't turn it on, I get the error 0xC004E003 code. WU does not work.

you use an OEM SLP key that works only when the OEM recovery media is used. It can be activated by normal means.

You need to change your product key to the one on your COA.
Click Start, type slui 3, press on enter.

Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)

    (B) COST SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)

  • I get the error 0xC004E003 code when I try to activate Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Someone knows how to solve?

I get an error 0xC004E003 code when I try to activate windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, someone knows how to fix?, have read and tried everything what others had said to others who have the same problem and nothing

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20080909000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2008, which means probably that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:
    Windows product key: *-* - YG69F - 9M66D-PMJBM

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.
