  Given that XP Pro and my D: drive have not been starting, I consulted the boot.ini file in C:, Windows 7 partition and I changed the order (i.e. partition No.) in the boot.ini file and saved it to the required location, i.e. D:/WINDOWS/pss.

No matter what I do and what I put in the boot.ini file to access the values through the windows 7 partition, the values that bootcfg returns me are always the same and he refuses to change the name of path or anything else. No matter what orders, I also put in bootcfg himself.

• Windows XP Pro do not validate after the removal of the hard drive

  In an older machine, I have a copy of Windows XP Pro, it is validated and worked perfectly fine, until I removed a dying hard drive of the machine, then it is suddenly telling me that the OS is not genuine. But when I try to switch it back to HDMI 1 (Mac Pro), it comes back with a black screen and says no signal. Even if I plug the HDMI cable it does not work. I set the timer to 3 hours sleep, doesn't always help. I know he's not missing sleep because itunes can be played when I spend and still playing music throughout and continued when I try to switch back. The only way I could get is long, press the button on my Mac Pro and restart.

  The only reasonable difference that I know is that the Macbook pro is running Yosemites, while my Mac Pro running Beta El Capitan. I have a feeling, this is probably the cause, but I just wanted to know if someone has solved this problem somehow.

  -Ready light has stopped flashing and LCD asked "language?

  Out buttons and proceeded to the initial installation of language and regional

• Windows 8 Pro does not start after windows update updates for April

  Pulled up to my PC this morning and was asked to install updates from windows update. Check the list, there are 11 important available updates. I have unchecked and hiding implementing Nvidia updated as I want to do the updates of my GPU myself. Installed the remaining 10, completed and has been asked to restart my PC.

  The problems starts here; I am more able to start windows.

  It is past the bios screen, shows the blue flag with a circle of rotation below and then... nothing more than a black screen and my screen goes to mode 'sleep'.

  I tried to start in safe mode minimum clean using a prompt (bcdedit/set {default} safeboot) repair my installation disk option, but it does not start even in safe mode.

  I run system restore turned on so that the option is not valid for me.

  The system is now check the disk for errors, but it seems to hang there as well as happens for more than 2 hours now...

  Any way that I can return the updates of windows on the outside? Any other suggestions than the reset of the installation disc?

  Problem solved now and it was the update of KB2808735 who was / is the origin of the problem.

  I placed my SSD into another computer and was able to pull up in SafeMode off and remove the updates.

  Installed all the updates one by one until it chrashed again installing the update mentioned above.
