I still receive 100 error while trying to connect to Adobe Download Assistant to download a free trial of Adobe Premiere elements 12. Can anyone help?

I downloaded Adobe Download Assistant and the adobe Application Manager. I am trying to install a trial version of Indesign CS6. It will download, extract files, but crashes during the installation of 42%. I get an error that the application manager is damaged. I downloaded Manager 3 times and get the same error. Im trying to download an Adobe product. The problem is that the program is installed via Adobe Download Assistant. Whenever I click the .exe to download the wizard I click 'Run' and then nothing happens after that. Any help would be appreciated.

Adobe Download Wizard - will not start the download?
Well, I download assistant. I logged onto the site Web of Adobe and Adobe Download Assistant. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. My internet connection is stable and everything is freshly updated.
If I try to start the download of ADA he asks me where I want to install it for and then product to do nothing. I don't get a toolbar installation. I don't get a clue showing he does something beyond simply existing. If I try to try again I get the message next-

If I try to start the download from the Adobe website, I get one of two things:
If I'm not connected on the Adobe website, ADA application to connect and then I get exactly the same thing as above, including having to choose the product from the list as if I had not clicked on the link on the Web site at all.
If I am connected to the Adobe Web site, ADA still asking to connect. On the merits of the application, I get "Adobe Photoshop CS5.1" and a bar facility with 'Login with your Adobe ID to continue' written underneith. When I connect he recognize me at the top of the application (("welcome, [my name]")), but nothing changes in the lower part of the application and it is still asking me to sign in to continue.
Any suggestions?

I am not able to connect to the adobe download wizard.
I started a subscription yesterday and Photoshop downloaded on its own. I need really to Illustrator and InDesign so I can start self-employment. So far, no luck trying to download these two. I thought that maybe if I am enrolled in the download wizard, that would help. If anyone has any advice for me, that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your response! I uninstalled Photoshop (since I don't need it right now) and then was able to download Illustrator and InDesign. Really weird, don't know what happened. If all is well in the Land of Creative cloud.
