Adobe Download Wizard - will not start the download?

Well, I download assistant. I logged onto the site Web of Adobe and Adobe Download Assistant. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. My internet connection is stable and everything is freshly updated.

If I try to start the download of ADA he asks me where I want to install it for and then product to do nothing. I don't get a toolbar installation. I don't get a clue showing he does something beyond simply existing. If I try to try again I get the message next-

"There is already a product waiting to be added (error 106). Please wait for the current operation to complete. If you believe that you have received this message in error, you can restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add it again. »

If I try to start the download from the Adobe website, I get one of two things:

If I'm not connected on the Adobe website, ADA application to connect and then I get exactly the same thing as above, including having to choose the product from the list as if I had not clicked on the link on the Web site at all.

If I am connected to the Adobe Web site, ADA still asking to connect. On the merits of the application, I get "Adobe Photoshop CS5.1" and a bar facility with 'Login with your Adobe ID to continue' written underneith. When I connect he recognize me at the top of the application (("welcome, [my name]")), but nothing changes in the lower part of the application and it is still asking me to sign in to continue.

  • Dell XPS 2710 all-in-One will not start, the totally blank screen

    Hello. This is my first post on the forums and I hope someone can help me.

    The Dell XPS 2710 all-in-one I bought for my 10 year old 15 months ago (Yes, that means that the guarantee is expired) will not start. No no post, no beeps, nothing. Just a brief spark of light on the screen, no words, nothing. The machine gets occasional use, and there is nothing to indicate what could have caused the problem. I have not upgraded the BIOS recently, is not as if it was a bad BIOS update, or whatever it is. I tried to hit the F1, F2, F12 keys delete during startup. No results.

    The video works. I know because I can connect my laptop to the HDMI-in port and I can see the desktop of my laptop very well. So the question is NOT the video. My son uses this machine for occasional movies and homework in his room. I want to fix the computer, if I can. I am handy with computers and built several machines from the outset in the past.

    I believe that the most likely scenario is that the motherboard has went wrong; There are several posts around the internet about motherboards 2710 AIO being unreliable. I saw an ad on the forums of Dell from a guy who said Dell Tech Support replaced its motherboard 2710 five times. I see that some of these motherboards are selling on eBay for around $200. I'm toying with the idea of getting a. I watched the service manual for the 2710 and I'm pretty confident that I could replace the Board of Directors.

    Someone had experience with permutation on their motherboard on a 2710 AIO? Or someone has any ideas on what could be the problem with my son's computer? I appreciate all the advice/help anyone could offer.

    OK, I have removed all the RAM from the motherboard (there were two sticks) and unplug the connector on the SATA hard drive. Then I turned on the machine and got two beeps very strong, but still no video on the screen indicating any form of activity of the POST. The sound signals have been first sounds I've ever heard during the procedure of boot on this machine. I put the RAM back in and re-connected the SATA cable. The way he has been, no video, no post, no beeps. I'm a bit at a loss for what I've decided, this means that the motherboard works technically and that another device on the machine is at the origin of the problem?     My guess is that you have OFFICE 2010 or newer. AA 9 PDF Maker that is necessary for what you want to do is not compatible with OFFICE 2010.

    Be realistic. What you can do in this situation? Not much! You can try to start the machine. See if you can get into the BIOS and if yes how long the device will remain on. If unit is running for an extended period, you can try to boot from the CD (for example with the recovery media).

    You can try to connect as another external HARD drive to another laptop and try to back up all your important data and reinstall the OS. More than that is not possible. If there is an electronic failure, it is not easy to fix on your own and support technical investigation just to see what hardware is damaged.

    I forgot to include some info as well... I replaced the 'touched' hardisk (Barracuda 500 GB) to an unused a (Barracuda 160 GB) and the problems disappeared. Whenever I change back the 500 GB in the com, the sound signal occurs only backwards the system continues the reopening for abt... 10 + times?

    Test the other hard drive.

    Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > find specifications of hardware in your computer (hard drive) > access the Web Hard Drive from the manufacturer site > download their diagnostic software > make a Bootable disc > test your hard drive.

    And run the F12 as I advised you to do so.

    It is DELL's Diagnostics software.

    Problems with the version 10 and nVidia drivers began about a year or two ago - when version 10 was already on two years and two generations of old. So I'm not sure that adobe is going to offer a fix for an old version of the program. Particularly when the nVidia drivers seem to be originally.

    Certainly, you can contact Adobe Customer Service and see if they go on you some sort of agreement on another version of the program. Or you can take a copy of old or second-hand version 11, 12 or 13 on Amazon or eBay for pretty cheap.

    I heard about people who work around this problem by loading a previous version of a driver from nVidia. But those who seem to be options. The least likely scenario is that Adobe will award a fix for a four-year program.

    It seems that the laptop is not able to boot the system, but I m not quite sure if it s because of the defective system or HARD drive corruption.
    If it s just a system problem, the installation of the new Windows operating system should help you to get it resolved.

    In case the HARD disk is defective, you need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the system.

    Make sure that the monitor is on the correct input/source. On the monitor, you should have a Menu button or a button input/Source. The Source of entry/must be set to VGA. If the monitor is set to a different port like DVI or HDMI type, it might be initially to go to sleep because it does not detect plugged into ports. Check and double check the input source.

    Also try reinstalling the RAM, which is just out the RAM and put it back in. If you have 2 sticks of RAM, you can also try to just put one in at a time in each slot to see if the screen lights up.
