Error 1303: Insufficient Privileges
I tried to install this on a Win7x64 and also a Win10x64 computer with the same results. I am the administrator of the computer. I am the only user of the computer. The file that I use is VMware-converter-en - 6.0.0 - 2716716.exe. I tried to run upward and also by clicking right and running it as an administrator. Same results.
Advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

could you please check the permissions directly? Also the advanced permissions.
Worst case is that the ACL is damaged and it takes reforced this folder recursively. (with icacls).
What about the UAC? you started Setup with "Run as Administrator"?

I get the error of insufficient privileges on execution of the DBMS_DATA_MINING. Script CREATE_MODEL in a stored procedure.
If I run the same DBMS_DATA_MINING. Script CREATE_MODEL in an anonymous block with just begin... end;
I am able to create a model successfully, but if I do the same thing after having stored the script in the stored procedure, it is throwing error of insufficient privileges.

DataMiner UI grants privileges to a role, so if you're depending on these privileges you must proceed as follows when you create a stored procedure.
Your stored procedure was created with the default authid which is definers. It will not use the privileges for the role. Solution is to create the stored procedure with authid current_user. This will pick up the privileges for the role. Another option is to apply the following subsidies directly to the user account:
grant CREATE MINING MODEL
CREATE THE TABLE,
IN ORDER TO CREATE
Example of stored procedure:

"An Application Manager can remove only the applications and databases that he created."
Leaving aside the question of whether this applies also to female users, this is probably your problem, is it not?

All communications of the db is made via the connection db defined in your application. Here, you set the user who speaks of the db. If this user has the power to hire you should be able to commit. You can use security adf to grant the insert, update, and delete on EO in your application to roles that belongs to the user of your application. I you have not done so each user of the application should be able to commit.

gives error of insufficient privileges creating triggers
Hi all
I am facing the problem of insufficient privilege on the base tables when creating triggers. I said three diagrams A, B, C in my database.
Base tables are in the schema A. I gave all subsidies on the base table to the schema B and C.
grant all on base_table_name to B;
grant all on base_table_name to C;
I created synonym also on this base table.
And I m creating triggers in the schema B.
When I run the query to trigger computer giving following error:

Target schema differs from the scheme of work: insufficient privileges
I created a scheme of work called ODI_STAGE in the same database where is my target db.
In topology about dataserver ODI I gave details of my scheme target (user) say ODI_Target.
ODI_Target does not have the privileges on ODI_Stage.So during execution of mapping it throw error saying insufficient privilege.
Please let me know how to solve this and what a privilege to command that I need to run?

This procedure is created to schema1 by schema1.
Schema1 boasts a CREATE SEQUENCE privilege.
When I run this procedure through SQL Developer after the Cup to schema1, the error is thrown in insufficient privilege to CREATE SEQUENCE, however, DROP SEQUENCE is executed. I can create the sequence without the procedure call.
If I add AUTHID CURRENT_USER so I don't get the error of insufficient privileges.
Why it gives this error when the owner and the applicant of the procedure is schema1?

1st thing to know: when a procedure is defined (and updated), any privileges granted through ROLE is not taken into account. This is because these privileges can be active or not at the level of the session (as happens if for example a user has active 'role A' in session 1 but not in session 2 and if this role has been used to define a procedure?) The proecedure must at the same time be VALID in session 1 and INVALID session 2? Is not possible.
Thus, for instance in a situation of 'standard': user SYSTEM has 'DBA Rôle', so you can for example make a sqlplus session "SELECT * v $ instance;", but you would write a procedure owned by system making instance_name SELECT INTO l_variable OF v$ instance; "then"surprise": the procedure cannot be compiled because of the ORA-904 Table or view does not exist..." To be able to create the procedure, a DSS system needs to be done.
2nd thing for your special case, a little more complex: default for a procedure is 'AUTHID DEFINE', but once more: it means "privileges of the author creating the procedure", so without taking into account the acquired privileges through roles... Your user name is 'sequence create' through a role, it cannot use the privilege within the procedure. But... but when you define the procedure with AUTHID CURRENT_USER, privileges are evaluated at run time, and thanks to the active ROLE in the session by calling the procedure, at this time, the user can create the sequence. If try again you but with 'The VALUE NONE ROLE' in the session before the call, you will again have the question.
Conclusion: If you need to do the action, you must grant the user the necessary privilege directly.

To answer your question, your create table privilege granted to you via a role. Roles are not in pl/sql, you need the privilege granted to you directly.

Hi, I tried to update my iTunes a day and when he made an error appeared. Now, today I uninstalled both iTunes & Quicktime, I don't remember what the first said (before finding out the programs were installed yet) but after I went back uninstalled them I tried to reinstall again (in the hope that it would work) and this message popped up.

QUESTION: Why I can't connect to the new database with service_name = neworcl?
Net Oracle connections as sysdba usually require a password file. Have you created a password file for your database?
You can check the content of $ORACLE_HOME/dbs and see if you have a file named "orapwneworcl". If you do not, you can create it using the orapwd utility. Change your password for SYS in sqlplus must automatically synchronize the password in the password file. The password file is necessary for remote connections, since you cannot authenticate using the OSDBA group and the database may in fact not even begin to verify your password.

BTW, when you connect AS SYSDBA using Protocol inheritance, you can use any user name and password and will always connect to the SYS schema, which case authentication is made by the OSDBA group identifier. For example, you can use any user name and password, such as "humptydumpy/blablaba sqlplus as sysdba".

I read some blog and he said that dgmgrl does not support os authentication, which means that I need to connect with sys and password. I think still you can connect as "dgmgrl /", but its recommended to use "dgmgrl sys / * '.
As rchem has said, there can be question of password. It doesn't matter whether the SID is the same or not primary and standby so different locations. So the best practice is to connect to the database from the primary server before using Oracle net service and test whether you connect or not.
Ex: Prim_host > sqlplus sys/***@stby as sysdba
There are a lot of possible issues
-Missing or invalid password file
-Service name is not registered with earphone
-service incorrect, mentioned in the tns names
and so many things, overlaps with these things.

You have created the function with AUTHID CURRENT_USER, which means that the function is executed with the rights of the applicant (but not with the rights of the author). This means that the applicant must have grants (directly or through roles) on all used/accessible objects in the service. In your case the user USER2 has not granted with EXECUTE on the class/source Java test. Class HelloWorld, causing the ORA-01031 exception. You create service without AUTHID CURRENT_USER (i.e. with AUTHID DEFINE, which is by default, if you do not have a specific reason to use AUTHID CURRENT_USER) or grant EXECUTE on JAVA test SOURCE. Class HelloWorld to User2.
