  Quite simply, I get an error message indicating that Windows Media Center will not open. I tried the following: a system restore to a date where library worked with no success. I have run the System File Checker (sfc/runnow} wich ligate without flaws. Finally, I deleted the file mediacenterdatastore which has also no effect. The last thing I want to do is reinstall my operating system, once again, so has anyone out there have any more ways to fix this error... Help! Thanks in advance

• Netflix profiles windows media center

  I just got the new profiles of Netflix on my account. Unfortunately, they don't work well with the Windows Media Center Netflix plugin. First of all the loads plugin by default profile when you first open the app. More important, when a video is selected to watch, I'm asked to select the profile and then gave an error saying that "something is not quite right. Repeat this last step. "At that point if I click on" Let's try again ", I get an error in unknown script, then a followed script jQuery error black screen Uni. If I select Cancel and then I am presented with the prompt selection of profile again. I literally can't watch Netflix now through the plugin. Any help would be appreciated!

  I have been informed that Netflix has eliminated a patch to work around the problem. The profiles will NOT work inside the WMC, but you should receive is more an error and the original profile should work as before.

• Profiles of Netflix in windows media center, causing problems

  It seems the new Netflix profiles posed problems in the version of Windows Media Center of Netflix.

  Launch and selecting a movie/show in the app Netflix Windows Media Center works great.

  However when you play the movie, you are prompted to select a profile, after you select a profile you are presented with a screen saying:

  "Something is not right of the specifications.  Repeat this last step' with two buttons "Lets try again" and "Cancel".

  By selecting "Lets try again" brings up two error dialog boxes

  The first is a "permission denied".

  Followed by an error of "jQuery".

  Also I we a remote control for my video capture card to navigate Windows Media Center and the profile selection screen can be activated with the mouse.

  Hope that this selection screen when developed will be something that I can use the remote control for.

  I finally got. Apparently I should read more. I had to go to-> programs and features Control Panel. In there, click turn windows media on or features outside and uncontrolled. I then rebooted. C:\windows\ehome renamed to c:\windows\ehome.bak then reactivated multimedia in Control Panel.

• CREATIX card TV no longer works for Windows Media Center after you install Vista Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional

  I recently updated my computer Windows Vista Edition Medion Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. While my computer was running Vista, I could use the tuner TV SAA7131 Creatix card in my computer to watch digital TV British, that is to say Freeview. Before my upgrade to Windows 7, I checked all my drivers would be compatible, and the Advisory program told me that they would be sufficient.   You must find the CTX driver version in the code of your tv card provider (poster Device Manager it under hardware ID in the Details tab) in the list of suppliers PDF in the FAQ section of the site Creatix. Then, you can download the right CTX driver from the support section. Is there a Windows 7 driver for my SAA7131 card.
