Error Code 800706BE and the 800706BE error Code could not update windows. CSP as also stopped working.

I can't update windows. I get to 800706BA and error Code 800706BE codes. I also get frequent error messages that Cryptographic Services like stopped working. I would really like to fix this way! Thank you.

NB: If you had no installed anti-virus application or subscription has expired at thetime the first machine was infected and/or your subscription has expired since or the machine is not been kept fully patched in Windows Update constantly, don't waste your time with any of the following: Format & reinstall Windows. A repair install won't help!

NB: Run the FULL scan, not analysis FAST! You may need to download the MSRT on an uninfected machine and then transfer the MRT. EXE to the infected machine and rename it to SCAN. EXE before running it.

2A. WinXP-online Windows Live Safety Center scanner 'Protection' (only!) in Mode safe mode with networking, if necessary:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm

When I connect to my home edition W7 (genuine windows) and type my password it happens an error reading box:

"Could not update the BITMAP"6801´:24"and when I click on enter 6801, 6802 changes all the way to 6812 once everything is back to normal.

Ive made a clean boot it and I have no restore point system were everythings were very good...

This somewhat bothers me so promptly!

I tried to install Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, 32-bit version. My current system is an Intel iMac (later), with Windows XP - SP3 loaded as a virtual machine with Parallels Desktop 4.0 build 3848 (according to their website, it is supposed to support Windows 7).

I allocated enough space RAM and HARD drive of the virtual machine to run Windows 7. No matter what I do, when I try to run setup.exe, I get the error message: "the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x7E].

The file 'autorun.dll' is present on the disk.

I saw on the internet that other people have also had this problem, with or without Parallels Desktop, and get a replacement DVD of Windows 7 program made no difference to them. Nor is it an available answer, I've seen.

My Windows 7 disc is new, so I was hoping that Microsoft could solve the problem for me?

OK, so, this response is a little late to come, but if you never solved...

I just encountered the same problem - editing similar (Mac, Parallels 5 in my case, the SP3 of XP, MS Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade) - you must make sure that the DVDROM drive hardware is mapped to "D:" on your XP installation. Thus on the Parallels Desktop menu go to devices, CD/DVD1 and make sure that all your actual DVD player is called is selected (should be the vertical entry in the menu) - not true CD/DVD. The reader should then start and auto run.
