Error code: S1023 trying to install DirectX
When trying to install a package DirectX updated from Microsoft for my 7 then I, this error code came: S1023.
Since I'm "new" to the computer stuff; is there a "quick fix" for her?

Thanks Himanshu - it worked for me (remove temporarily the redistributable VS2010 SP1, reinstall the SDK, then put SP1 back those). BTW, resinstalling the VS2010 SP1 Redistributable replaced the pre - SP1 versions installed by the SDK software, so probably the original message is just misleading and it would work if we simply ignored, but I have not confirmed this personally.

Get the error code 80070652 tries to install updates
Original title: installation server does not, DAX error external Exception C06D007E 16 August 2012
Booted up Thursday morning, Bureau seemed fine except for a box of "Windows Installer" which said it was "in preparation for installation." I let it run and after a long time, new box come saying "Install server answers do not." When I checked Windows Update, it says two files cannot be installed and gave error messages: 80070652 and 652. I continued to try to cancel the dialog of Windows Installer, nothing helps. Another Windows Installer box showed up after I tried to cancel the first area several times. It read: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource. Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package 'Sparebackup.msi' in the box below. "A search failed to find the target source. Then an external exception DAX error C06D007E appeared. My Windows desktop or my Outlook e-mail program respond to my attempts to open (although I can access Outlook remotely via MS Explorer). I tried two times to do a restore to an earlier date and restore failed also to work. I have Vista Home Premium 6.0. I am a independent and without Windows Office, I'm dead in the water without any way to make my works projects.
Hello

Several error codes while trying to install updates
Hi, I hope I'm posting in the right part of the forum. I just had to restart my computer after a virus & I now get 1935 error code, Code 643 & Code 8007000 b appears when I try to update.
There are currently something like 100 updates of odd windows trying to download right now & that none will not charge.
The full error message for Error 1935 is - Microsoft.VC90.ATL, version = "9.0.30729.1', the public key token ="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b"processorArchitecture ="x 86", type = win32" HRESULT:0x800736B3 "
I don't know if this makes no sense.
A small digression - when I try to update Java, the error message contains something about a connection "proxy" regarding the internet connection. I'll contact my ISP that do of course all is on their end.
I don't have a great understanding of the side 'tech' of computers so I hope this is enough information. Thanks for any help you can give me :)
