  I have just upgraded to Windows 7 today and that you have installed Labview 2009 on the machine. Some of the VI, I must support using the vi simple text Excel. When I go to test my changes, my VI States that the Excel sub vi simple text is not executable. I am at a loss. This who could I have missed in the installation?

  The assumption that it had to do with Excell 2010 is correct. The 2009 edition of the report generation toolkit is only compatible with the versions of MS Office 2007.

  If you have two options.

  -You can upgrade to LabVIEW 2010 toolkit and reporting 2010 (gen 2010 report does not work with LabVIEW 2009)

  or

  -Install MS Office 2007 on your computer.

  It is possible to have two versions of MS Office on the same machine so that you won't lose MS 2010 by doing this, however the steps that Microsoft gives an overview on their website.

  Manually download the files to a location on your hard drive, you can locate and manually install the same.

  Windows 7 - if that always creates a problem, then try to disable User Account Control first download before the update manually. See: (Guided Help: settings to adjust user account control in Windows 7):

• Problem with OLE system

  When I go to save files and as I click on the drop-down list to change the location of the file, my system hangs for 2 to 10 minutes.  I tried to save a file in Excel... clicked on file, then save as, and when the drop down menu appeared I tried to change the file in the box SAVE in... the system is blocked.  I finally got a message that MICROSOFT OFFICE EXCEL IS WAITING for an OTHER APPLICATION at YEAR OLE ACTION FULL... but nothing else has been run on the system.  After a long wait, he is finally allowed.  This also happens when I try to save a file downloaded in AOL. I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and have all the latest updates applied (automatic update).

• Office 64 bit thinapp

  Hello..

  Try ThinApp MS Office Excel 2010 (64-bit) SP1 Win7 (64 bit).  When compiling, I get and error Excel.exe is not valid an Executeable.

  Thinapp v4.7.2 - 771812 Enterprise version running.

  My thought is that ThinApp does not support 64-bit applications, but found no concrete evidence of that.  Does anyone have any information on this and if there is a work around?

  We do this because we have 32-bit Office deployed and found a need for 64-bit Excel for some circumstances (long story here).  We do not want to install 64-bit Office natively for reasons of compatibility with a majority of our other integrated office software.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Sorry to say that 64-bit applications are not supported by ThinApp.

  I use Adobe Photoshop version CS4 11.0.2 on Windows XP SP3.

  I get the following error message when you try to "Save-as" of photoshop for Sahrepoint:

  "Could not save as: \\...\abc.jpg ' because of a disk error. »

  • I can save other Adobe documents at the same place without errors (Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.)
  • I can save Office documents in the same place without error (Excel, Word etc)
  • I can save docs Photoshop on my hard drive local - without error

  Once I saved the doc at my local, I can copy and paste into SharePoint (via Windows Explorer) without error.

  Is there a known issue with Adobe Photoshop for SharePoint backup?

• Error using an executable file and Excel 97

  Hello

  I have a program that writes a file samples periodically (a specific) Excel, the program works fine when I run LabVIEW, but when I try to do the same thing with an executable built with report generation tool it opens for awhile without any Excel sheet, the file is closed and the executable generates the following error ' ': Error 97 "in a system error unknown whole cell Value.vi-> test.vi", can someone please tell me what is causing this error and how to fix it? Thank you.

  Attached files, you will find a view of the value of the cell value and its location on the main program.

  I use LabVIEW 8.6 and Excel 2007.

  I just upgraded my work laptop. Installed the latest LabWindows. Tried to run the demo for the Excel report application, but got the error message: "year error occurred trying to launch Excel through its automation interface.» Make sure that Excel is installed and you can run it manually."

  I have Microsoft Office 2013 installed and I can manually launch Excel 2013. I think that LabWindows supports Excel 2013. Can someone tell me what the problem is. I need to change a setting LabWindows or Excel? Should I be an administrator?

  Hi Steven,

  Thanks for your reply.  After more study on Microsoft Office Online, I finally found the solution.  What I did is a quick repair on Microsoft Office to the control panel > uninstall or change a program.  I guess he had a few problems for the factory to Office Setup.

  Hi all

  I am doing a test for myDAQ report. I want to do a report for a number of test in an excel sheets calculation but separate file. The first worksheet should contain the title, the time and date. While the second worksheet must contain test result table 1 and 3 worksheet must contain table 2 test results and so on. But in the attached VI, I get an error #-41110. Please help in this regard.

  I repaired Excel 2013 (it's actually 365ProPlus MS Office).
  Somehow, office updated itself and probably leads to some conflicts... no idea what. But, once repaired, seems everything back to normal.

  Don't call in the following example, generates no error!

  I have a strange error with excel activeX: "-2146827284!"

  Why strange? Because my export feature works perfectly on a computer but not on another... (both are windows 7 + Excel 2007)

  How my application works:

  I have to read an excel spreadsheet which preserves made with different types of instruments of measures.

  For each type of instrument, I have to create a specific worksheet with its measures.

  For example:

  1 spreadsheet excel with the many measures of 4 different types of instruments

  SHOULD GIVE

  4 excel spreadsheets containing the measures of each instrument (1 worksheet for a type of instrument).

  Hope I am clear...

  I coded the name of the folder as a constant aim dev. And I do not mind that the name of the folder is not the same on both computers!

• Strange error in worksheet Excel add

  I write and read an Excel with Labview. The code does exactly what I want, but after reading the excel file I get an unknown error in the "Excel add sheet" VI (from report generation tool). There are only 2 inputs and 2 outputs on this VI and I can't understand why this error is popping up.

  I wrote in the file excel with the following code:

  

  The functionblock inside the red square gives the following error (after that I tried to write new data to the Excel file when I read it already):

  

  As you can see that the error occurs in the VI because it is not present the probe to 28. To read the excel file, I use the VI "Excel get Worksheet" and "Excel Get Data" as of the report generation tool.

  I want to be able to write in the excel file after reading it because I want to check the data inside Labview by measures. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

  At first glance, nothing seems to be wrong in the code. The error could be the cause of something that goes under this code section is executed (as if the report is closed). You said you read the Excel file, but this part is not displayed in your photo. Given that you use the local variable to pass the object of report a race condition may also be possible.
