Error in the page when the ADF security enabled

Hello

I created an example page JSF with only a text to output "Hello World!"

When I run the page without activating the safety of the ADF, it works fine.

I activated the ADF security according to the "Enabling Oracle ADF security 29.3" in Guide of Dev for the ADF.
Now when I run the page, it shows the default login page. I enter username and password and 'send '.

After that, it shows an error with the following error page:

Hi vbokar! ;)

I check your application and I noticed that the political ADF seems be grayed in JDev so I re - run the Configuration Wizard for the ADF security.
Other changes were:

  • user "vbokar" was added to the application role 'testRole1 '.
    <>changed the password of the user vbokar for "password1" (so I can test it)
  • changed the home page or from the success_url of ' / TestPage2.jspx ' to ' / faces/TesPage2.jspx.

    Run and Viola! It works!
    Here is the updated file...

    PS. as I also proposed Vikram wire, please build > CleanAll your app. Or better yet, remove it and load the one you sent me.

      Hello world

      I use Jdeveloper 12 c, and my problem is stated as:

      I developed an application in jdeveloper 11g, then I migrated it to 12 c. He was executed successfully on my own laptop. Can I send it to my client, when the client tried to run on integrated WLS, the Index.jsf (first page to run) is stuck. When he removed the ADF security configuration it run correctly. But once again, once set up, he gave the same problem means Index.jsf gets stuck and tries to reload and reload and reload, but nothing happens.

      In any case, my paper is here:

      Hello.

      I'm trying to develop a login page using the ADF security in jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.

      I followed this link

    • Use the ADF security to grant access to the application

      Hello

      One of our customers has to move their forms ADF application. The customer also wants to implement SSO using Kerberos. I could implement the ADF to the application security.

      The Application has two types of users whose information is stored in the USERS table in the database-

      1. Users of the application (not a domain user)
      2. Active Directory/domain users.

      What the clients want to do, is that if the user belongs to the domain, while the user must be able to view the home page directly. If the user is not a domain user, then the login page must be displayed and the user must be authenticated before the redirection to the home page.

      The first part, i.e. to implement SSO for users in domain works. But I don't know exactly how to proceed with the Application users.

      Can I create a custom authenticator that connects to the database and authenticate users of the Application?

      Any suggestion and pointers will be helpful.

      Thanks and greetings

      Tinto

      You probably don't need to create the custom authenticator.

      WLS provides already ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator: Configuration of authentication - 11 g Release 1 (10.3.6) providers

      Define "control indicator" for two suppliers of "SUFFICIENT".

      I guess within the Web.XML you have something like:

      CLIENT-CERT

      ?

      WLS supports several methods of connection in the element for you can use something like:

      CLIENT-CERT, FORM

      Login

      errorPage

      (no doubt simpler is to configure the security of form based in the ADF Security Assistant and then manually add CLIENT-CERT in the web.xml file)

    • The ADF security: end_url is not used when logout

      Hello

      JDev 11.1.2.4

      We have activated ADF security and use OAM to manage security. When disconnect you, we want to redirect to a page with the following code:

      {} public void logout())

      FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

      ExternalContext ectx = fctx.getExternalContext ();

      String endUrl = null;

      try {}

      endUrl = URLEncoder.encode ("http://www.google.com", "UTF - 8");

      } catch (UnsupportedEncodingException e) {}

      _logger.severe ("Url of late encoding of exception", e);

      }

      String url = ectx.getRequestContextPath () + "/ adfAuthentication?" Logout = true & amp; end_url ="+ endUrl;

      try {}

      ectx. Redirect (URL);

      } catch (IOException e) {}

      e.printStackTrace ();

      }

      fctx.responseComplete ();

      }

      It works with IE, the user is redirected to google. But it does not for Firefox or Chrome. The generated URLS are:

      IE: http://myserver:14100 / oam/Server/osso_logout? p_done_url = http://www.google.com

      FF/Chrome: http://myserver:14100 / oam/Server/osso_logout? p_done_url=

      Is this a bug?

      Thank you

      URL params are separated by ' & ' character which should be: "/ adfAuthentication?»»» Logout = true & end_url ='

    • Page navigation does not not having activated the ADF security

      Hi all

      I am facing a strange problem. I have 3 pages namely Login.jspx,.jspx Upload and summary.jspx. Untied task flow (adfc-config. (XML), I created the navigation as Login-> Upload-> summary. There is also a back navigation to download-> login page. The user enters the user id and password on the login screen and click on the "submit" button. If the credentials are correct then control flows to the download page. On page load user selects an excel file and click on the download button and the control moves to the summary screen. There is a button more called out on the download screen, which directs the user to the login screen. The navigation works perfectly well if ADF security is disabled. The time where security is enabled, the navigation fails. I used below link to implement security where it is created a java class to manage the authentication of users and move to the next page. On activation of security, I am only able to navigate from screen to connect to the loading screen. After the failure of this navigation. He won't go to the summary page, or it goes back to the login page. Just on the loading screen. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Jdeveloper version is 12.1.3.0

      Problem solved. In the java file authentication, I had put under instruction to navigate to the Page of Upload

      LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? success_url = / faces/Upload.jspx«;»

      I found below old son that says to remove .jspx of the URL and it worked.

      Unbounded task flow works is not in standalone Weblogic Server

      Navigation of the page using adf-config does not

      Correct statement is

      LoginUrl = string ' / adfAuthentication? "success_url = / faces/Upload ';

      Thank you

    • management of the adf security session timeout

      Dear all,

      I use adf authentication (authentication AD) as part of the security. When during the test, I put the session timeout to 1 min.
      When the user performs an activity on the page with 1 minute idle time, the browser displays the alert that the session has expired. After that, the page refreshes and gives the error on the page "resource cannot be found.

      So, how can I redirect the user to the page of the session after session timeout...?

    • When I updated to firefox 6 I lost my lock of safety at the bottom right of the page when I enter secure sites. I still have security? of

      When you connect to secure sites, there was a lock on the lower right part of the page that shows that the site is safe and secure. If the secure Web site wasn't sure a red line would cover the lock. I don't have it more since I've updated from 3.8 to 6. Are my secure such as banking etc. always secure sites. Why have I lost this lock symbol?

      Padlock is therefore more part of Firefox; It has been removed from Firefox 4 the cadenas watch there is a secure connection, but provides no additional information. You could make a typographical error, and have always been connected to a secure connection. The lock was replaced in Firefox 3 with the Site identity button. Familiarize yourself with the Site identity button at the left end of the address bar:

      You can install this module if you want: *https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/padlock-icon/

    • Security of the ADF

      Hi all

      We have a SignIn page in our application for the authentication of the user and all components. In the ADF - config.xml, I have the following Setup

      authorizationEnforce = "false" authenticationRequire = "true".

      but I was redirected to the main home page (the page will be sent after a successful authentication) without any authentication. Although I put authenticationRequire = 'true '.

      However, if I set the URL scheme as ' / ' in the security constraint. It opens the SignIn page. However, the images were not properly?

      When the ADF security is enabled, i.e. when the two indicators of authentication/authorization in afc - config.xml are enabled, it works correctly.

      Please help us.

      Hello

      However, if I set the URL scheme as ' / ' in the security constraint. It opens the SignIn page.

      That's what the assistants of ADF Security adds by default when you select authentication only because there is no authorization, leading to a delayed authentication

      However, the images were not properly?

      This is because "/" protects all files under the root of Java EE. To change this, change the constraint "/" for authentication *.jspx (or *.jsp If you are using this as a file extension). In this case the images are excluded from security

      (Note that it is not here ADF security, but the security of web applications in Java EE)

      When the ADF security is enabled, i.e. when the two indicators of authentication/authorization in afc - config.xml are enabled, it works correctly.

      This is because the permission is not applied on the level of path (your path of the application root) context Java EE
