Error in the trace file

Dear friends,

Noticed in one of my trace files. In any case, is that a problem? How can I determine if something is just a message or error/warning. Are errors and warnings always accompanied with the houses on the right?

If it is not broken, do not fix it.

You will get errors and warnings when something bad will happen. For now, everything is good in this text.

    Totally 294 trace files...

    I checked some .trc files;  Almost have the same information.

    ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
    Name of the system: Linux
    Name of the node: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Instance name: testdb

    Oracle process number: 0

    My question clear is:

    1. If the alert log contains details of the error, what is the purpose of trace in bdump files?
    2. why "n" no trace files created without useful information? (Almost with the same information]
    3. what type of information is usually stored in .trc files?

    What I know about tracefiles:

    Each background process writes the trace files if an internal error has occurred.
    If I'm wrong, please correct.

    Trace files and log alerts serve a different purpose. A simple way to think about it, is that the trace files are used when diagnosing problems. The alert log shows you what are the events are occurring in the database in general, flooding you don't not with unnecessary details. If the database crashed, the alerts log will tell you when the event happened, but the details of the process that crashed would be (I hope) in a trace file.

    Some trace files are huge, and you certainly don't want them in the log of alerts because it would make it too big to be manageable or read.

    For example, if a process crashes, the dumping process trace file to would be useful when you are working with Oracle Support to identify the problem. Or, if you want to see what a specific session, you can turn on tracing on it and and then format the trace with tkprof file to understand what made the session.

    The documentation is a good summary:

    Trace files

    A trace file is an administrative file containing diagnostic data used to investigate the problems. Trace can also, provide guidance for tuning applications or an instance, as explained in "Diagnostic and performance optimization.

    Types of Trace files

    Each server and the background process can periodically write to a trace file. File information on the environment in the process, status, activities and errors.

    The SQL trace facility also created trace files, which provide information of performance on individual SQL statements. To enable tracing for an identifier of the client, service, module, action, session, instance or database, you must run the procedures in the DBMS_MONITOR package or use Oracle Enterprise Manager.

    A dump is a special type of trace file. Considering that track tends to be out of diagnostic data, a dump is usually a unique data output of diagnosis in response to an event (for example, an incident). When an incident occurs, the database writes one or more landfills in the incident directory created for the incident. Incident of discharges also contain the case number in the file name.

    Hello

    When I install Microsoft Flight Simulator X, I get the error message 1603. But before I got this messase that I get an Error 1335 the Cabinet File "D1 ~ 10.CAB '.

    I copied all files from drive 1 and 2 on my hard drive and I still get the same message.

    Help, please

    Hello

    Cabinet (or CAB) is a file format to archive for Microsoft Windows that supports compression without loss of data and embedded digital certificates used to maintain the integrity of the archive. CAB files have .cab file name extensions.

    Install the game in the clean boot and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    Note: follow step 4 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

    Hope this information helps.

    Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.

    Hi Michela,

    Lightroom makes a call the the AGkernel.dll file, but the file isn't sure what to do because it can't find the line of code within himself to answer. This can happen for several reasons, that fall within these two broad categories: AGkernel.dll is damaged and must be repaired or AGKernel.dll version is incorrect and should be updated to the correct version.

    Here are some things you can do to fix the file:

    -Record again with Windows AGKernel.dll: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/249873

    -Windows repair: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

    -Install all the updates that are available for Windows: Windows Installer updates

    -Uninstall and reinstall Lightroom

    Packer of creative cloud in creating a package that I can install do not.  He goes through the motions, download all updates, create setup file, but it does not work despite the fact that there are no errors in the log files

    After hitting my head against the desk to repeatedly create packages, try on different computers I have finally found a solution.

    These packages have been copied on an external drive, if I try and install from the external drive, which is a common practice, it fails.

    If I then copy this file pkg from the outside, to the computer I install, then run it, it will to and moved very well.

    That is mind-boggling stupid, because it's rare that you have to copy the file into any computer, it is less always installed off the coast of externally, and many people in the company are pushing on the network and the management of the suites so there is a serious problem in Adobe package manager if this is the case where it cannot manage the Middle installed offshore.

    I hope that if anyone else is having problems so it suits.

    But rewrite the SQL code will probably be irrelevant.

    If most of the numbers in the file plan and execution of trace is correct, then it is not more time is lost somewhere in the network that you send to 260 000 lines back and forward with a size of 15 lines extraction (the default in sql * more)?

    You must increase the size of mining significantly.

    11 g, there is an extended tracing which happens for reasons best known only to Oracle. But if you want to disable, Coskan had published a small ticket mentioning a parameter not documented (which means you should think twice before using it) to disable it - disablehealth_check *. I use a relative path to my .pfx file to the transportServerCredential and the licenseServerCredential in the flashaccess - tenant.xml and my password was encoded using the Scrambler.bat.

    Also, when I check using the configuration http://< LicenseServer >: 8080/flashaccessserver/flashaccess/license/v2 I get the message "license server is configured properly."

    Any ideas why the Validator.bat cannot read the configuration file?

    Neil and may,

    I also used the evaluation of access version 4.0, and I got stuck in the same place you did.  I had two main symptoms.

    (1) the validator was not with the same error that you are experiencing.

    (2) later, while trying to acquire a license for playing packaged content, encrypted, the license acquisition failed, and the cause of the original error has also pointed out the Key Server parameter in flashaccess - tenant.xml.

    According to the documentation, the certificate server key (and in fact the key server itself) are supposed to will be necessary only when a policy calls for remote key service to clients of iOS.  But, I took a chance and added the .pem file in the sampletenants directory and made him the flashaccess - tenant.xml as follows:

    Configuration | Tenant | Certificates | KeyServer. File | path =

    The result was a successful validation of the configuration and the successful license acquisition and reading - and the key server is not even in the course of execution.  Apparently with 4.0 certificate is part of the minimum for the scanner configuration, even if the documentation says something quite different.

    Good luck, hope this helps.

  • Discover the traces files when DBMS. TRACE is used

    Hi all
    How can I view trace file when DBMS_TRACE. SET_PLSQL_TRACE is run?

    Suppose I have the following procedure
    create or replace procedure some_proc is
    first varchar(10);
    begin
    select first_name into first from employees where first_name='Eleni';
    dbms_output.put_line(first);
    end some_proc;
    running the static sql query and I want to see how the DBMS_TRACE exports information about the trace file. I run the tracetab.sql
    SQL> @/usr/local/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/rdbms/admin/tracetab.sql
    recompile the procedure
    SQL> alter procedure some_proc compile debug reuse setting;
    Start the trace
    SQL> exec dbms_trace.set_plsql_trace(dbms_trace.trace_all_sql)
    Run the procedure
    SQL> exec hr.some_proc
    get the location of the file record of the session in question
    SELECT value
    FROM v$diag_info
      3  WHERE name = 'Default Trace File';

    VALUE
    -------------------------
    /usr/local/oracle/diag/rd
    bms/inara/inara/trace/ina
    ra_ora_6309.trc
    but when I view the file, I can't find information on the sql statement. Here is the last part of inara_ora_6309.trc which shows the debatable part:
    *** 2011-09-08 12:56:29.712

    The part that I've done wrong? The procedure is sufficient so that the trace info does not appear? I have consulted the wrong trace file?

    Hello

    The message seems pretty clear to me:

    --PL/SQL TRACE INFORMATION IS NOW IN THE DATABASE

    You can view trace information by querying the tables that you created by using the tracetab.sql script.

    SELECT * FROM plsql_trace_events;
    SELECT * FROM plsql_trace_runs;

    hexadecimal 0x508f3 is 329971 in decimal notation. (I just use the Windows calculator that can convert Hex Dec when in 'scientific' display mode!)

  • Name the trace file

    I generated several trace for parsing files using tkprof. However, I have difficulty to locate the exact file of 100 francs of stack trace (.trc). My trace file name save time. Is it possible to appoint the trace file when I start tracking? (that is when I put sql_trace true).

    Thank you
    Romain Rolland

    ALTER session set tracefile_identifier = "" will include in the name.
    Also, it is easy to calculate the correct name of the session sid and spid.
    As this is the platform dependent, I can't provide the code.

    Please also note tracefiles open append mode. A new session with the same sid and spid to add to an existing file.
