adf009, a simple NPE?
You know how to use a debugger?
You already know that
JUCtrlHierBinding obj = (JUCtrlHierBinding)bindings2.findCtrlBinding("UpdAddedMember1");
Returns a null value. What is the information you get from that?
He told me that you misspelled the name of link 'UpdAddedMember1' or it does not exist in the page links.
Then, you use "links" and "bindings2", which are equal. Meanaing you only need one of them.
What is this code before:
while (rs1.hasNext()) {
Key key = rs1.next().getKey();
Row r = rs1.getRow(key);
...
you are iterating over a set of rows with the rs1.next () and then jump to the already selected line by setting the line with row.getRow (key);
while (rs1.hasNext()) {
Row r = rs1.next();
should do.

Error when inserting rows into a table
Hello
We have recently migrated to 9i and 10g. We have a scheduled task on our database who first removes all rows from a table and then inserts them back by selecting the lines of 5 tables. This table has a composite primary key based on 6 columns in it. In 9i, when I try to insert rows in the table after you remove all of the lines, I am able to insert the data successfully. However, in 10g, when I try to do the same operation, it fails with error ORA:
ORA-00001: unique constraint violated
The same query that works perfectly in 9i fails in 10g
If anyone has some ideas on how to solve the same, kindly let me know.
Thanks in advance.CrazyAnie wrote:
Okay, so now the only option that remains is that I have load the data into a local table and then perform the loading.May not be the only option, but the safest and cleanest I would say.
CrazyAnie wrote:
Also, it would be very kind of you that you might suggest all other possible risk areas where this CHARSET conversion could be a concern.I imagine that the main areas of concern will be you are interfacing directly with other databases through database links and using string functions. Otherwise, as long as the manipulation of data is in the same database 10g should not be a problem.

I made the migration of my source 9i DB, which is on Solaris to my 10g database which is on Linux and a separate server (which resides in a completely different location) uses exp and IMP. So if I try to export my schema after you change the CHARACTER set and then import it into the target DB, should that help me to get rid of this error? What is an option that can be done?I don't think it would be that simple change your database character set, check out this link for discussions about the same:

The error message gives an indication of what is wrong:
Failed to INSERT the object REF or REF user-defined view
In this case, you have a REF user-defined because you based the table OID of PARAMS on the PK.
Storage of such a REF is possible only if it is worn, as explained in the documentation:
https://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/ADOBJ/adobjadv.htm#ADOBJ7393
Like this:
create the table envparam_obj envparams)
scope for (paramref) params
) ;
or on the existing table:
ALTER table envparams Add (scope (paramref) params);
SQL> INSERT INTO envparams 2 SELECT envparam_obj (ref (p), anydata.convertvarchar2('FRENCH_FRANCE.WE8ISO8859P1')) 3 FROM params p 4 WHERE p.PName = 'nls_lang'; 1 row created. Master - Detail of the object View and Javabean
I have a table with data from VO (database, let's say in table A). This table has Id, name and processId table. I also have a second table below the first table, what data comes from a javabean (source data not DB). I created this bean data control, which in turn, I created the second table.
What I want to achieve, it is when a user to select a row in the first table, I wish that the second table is updated according to the processId value of the selected row in the first table.
Would you share how to do it?
Thank you.Hello
my Oracle Magazine July/August 2012 column covers a similar use case of Web Services that work in a relationship master / detail with ADF business components view objects. In this article I recommend using the programmatic view objects and entities that this ensures the consistency of the master / detail is handled by the template and cannot be controlled manually on the view layer. I think that the possibility of using a JavaBean domain controller and synchronize it with the object View is a valid option, however, if the rest of your application using ADF business components then I would consider programmatic view objects (and entities if the app is CRUD to the POJO too)
Here's a sample and a good report:

Inserting rows through the procedure of database
Hello!
I have a small dilemma. I have to insert rows in the database through pl/sql procedure table. I can't use entity objects, because the insertion is very specific, so it must be done through the procedure of database.
What is the workflow for my case? Use view object with transient attributes the right way? I have to show form insertion (with entries for the database parameters), and then call my procedure to fill the db table. Where can I find more information on that? Everyone had similar cases? Any info?
Best regards, Marko[Url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/b31974/bcadveo.htm#sm0328] does help?

When I try to view a page that has a map Google map into the page, I get the message error 'a plugin is required to view this content. However, I don't know which plugin, where to find, etc. I tried searching for this question but could not reach anyone else has a similar problem, or there seems to be a plugin for Google Maps that I can find.
The page is here:
http://osiama.org/lodges#The map is displayed when turned on one of the links in the table.
I was going to propose to add the type = "text/html" in the embed tag, but found a discussion saying that does not work: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17688628/firefox-tells-user-they-need-a-plugin-to-display-an-embedded-webpage
After the graduation in this thread, what to place your stir inside a tag object like this:
<object type="text/html" data="https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place?key=AIzaSyA4e2zvSt_VeKb6u_IMvBSAuIPPINgfzNU&q=Nazzaro+Community+Center&zoom=15" height="300" width="450" frameborder="0" style="border:0;"> <embed src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place?key=AIzaSyA4e2zvSt_VeKb6u_IMvBSAuIPPINgfzNU&q=Nazzaro+Community+Center&zoom=15" height="300" width="450" frameborder="0" style="border:0;"> </object>
So in other words, the browsers that can use the object tag will do it, but for those who do not, the embed is still there. Does it work?

When I try to install it it comes up with an error about 16% in the installation, saying that there is a disk error when you write to the file C\:Program files (x 86) \microsoft games\dungeon siege\resources\objects.dsres
Any ideas?
Hi MouseToe,
What version of Dungeon Siege you trying to install?
The cause of this problem could be the corrupted resource (.dsres) file or disk error. Here are some things you can do to solve the problem.
Method 1: Run the disk check.
Check the integrity of your hard disk for lost clusters and errors.
To do this, follow the steps in this article: check a drive for errors
Method 2: Defragment the hard disk.
This improves the performance of your hard drive.
Reference: improve performance by defragmenting your hard drive
Method 3: Run the game as administrator.
Here's how:
(a) right click on the game configuration file.
(b) choose 'Run as administrator'.
Method 4: Try to install the game in a different folder or to a different drive
Try to install the game in a different folder. If the computer has another hard disk, try to install the game on the other hard drive.
Follow these steps.
a. Insert the game disc in the drive.
Note: Do not click on Quick Installation during installation.
b. follow the setting menus until you see the change button.
c. click change.
d. in the path box, delete the existing path, and then type the following text:
drive: \Program Files\Microsoftgame name Games\
In this example,drive is the letter of the hard disk drive and the name of the game is the name of the game you are trying to install.
e. click OK when finished.
f. follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install the game.
This should be it.

Inserted row is the same as the deleted row
Hello
I have another weird behavior with ADF I don't understand... When I delete a line in an af:table and then I insert a line, the insert row is identical to the deleted row. Here is what I do
- Go to the page, the table is loaded with a record from the database
- Remove the line, using a button that triggers the delete of the iterator method in links
- Insert a new line using a method defined in the Application module implementation java class. He defines himself as a methodAction in links
- The insert in my interface button calls a method in my java bean
public void insertNewVariableScheduleRow(ActionEvent ae) { insertNewVariableScheduleRow((DCBindingContainer)BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry()); } private Row insertNewVariableScheduleRow(DCBindingContainer bindings) { OperationBinding method = bindings.getOperationBinding("insertNewVariableScheduleRow"); Map paramsMap; Row newRow; paramsMap = method.getParamsMap(); paramsMap.put("defaultValues", scheduleDefaultValues.toArray()); method.execute(); logger.log("(method.getErrors().size(): " +(method.getErrors().size())); newRow = (Row)method.getResult(); return newRow; }
The method in the * class AMImpl do:
public Row insertNewVariableScheduleRow(int scheduleNo, int scheduleVersion, String declId, String[] defaultValues) { ViewObject vo = this.getDeclSchedCellUpdView(); int displOrder = getVariableScheduleNextDisplayOrder(); Row row = vo.createRow(); row.setAttribute("DisplOrder", displOrder); row.setAttribute("DeclId", declId +""); row.setAttribute("SchedVrsnNo", scheduleVersion +""); row.setAttribute("ScheduleNo", scheduleNo +""); for(int i=0; i<defaultValues.length; i++) { if(defaultValues[i] != null) { row.setAttribute("Col" +String.format("%03d", i+1) +"Value", defaultValues[i]); } } vo.insertRow(row); return row; }
I use JDev 11.1.1.7
Thank you for all your help
What is property changeEventPolicy on the iterator parameters in your pageDef? (try to define this 'None')
In addition, you can try to run the managed bean delete operation and then reset the State of the component with:
RicheTableau yourTable =...
yourTable.resetStampState ();
AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (yourTable);

HFM - inserting rows data form
Is it possible to easily insert a line when you create a data form in HFM? While I've built simple data forms, my first attempt at building a data with several separate lines form was painful because I can't understand how to insert a line in the middle of the other lines.
The only faster alternative, that I found was to change the numbers on the "Script" tab, but who also gets inefficient when I need to add a line to the top of a data line 100 form.
I would appreciate any advice on how to create forms of data more effectively.
Thank you!
M.One might think that there is a better way, right? Nope...
I put together a quick and dirty excel file to renumber the lines / columns in the view script...
#1-open the form in the editor
#2-go into Script mode
#3-jump to the right place in the file and insert rows or columns (NOTE: when you add the row or the column give a number such as C1 or R1.) It should not be a correct number, there must be a number so that my macro excel recognizes the renumbering...)
#4-copy / paste the script into the Excel file in the data column of the Original form
#5-copy / paste the column "Becomes the Output" in the script of the web form box in HFM.NOTE: I didn't feel bored enough to fix the substitution line and column numbers! If you add lines between a range that you override in forms, you will need to adapt them accordingly.

Create a tree of a single object View table
Hi all
I use Jdeveloper 11 g PS2
Can someone tell me how to create a table of tree of a single VO?
Looks like Frank Nimphius has posted an article on this entitled 'how-to create a picture of the tree to a single object View and how to get access backstage for the data lines' but all links to it repoint towards http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/overview/index.html. I couldn't find it on Connotea, nor was it explained in the book the Oracle Fusion developer's Guide.
I have no problem, creating a tree with two table, but it is redundant in my case, because the tree is based on a car that references the table. My association of entity is already created that binds the parent_id column column id. And I have a link to view based on the association of the entity. I also create a view for my VO that filters the parent (parent_id = null) records and criteria applied to the instance of VO in the data model. I also have a detail THAT VO from my view link.
I drag the object instance view my page of the data control panel and select create table tree. In the Edit Connection dialog tree, I press the icon ' green more "to create the level rule tree to the child nodes, and then select the accessor to display the child records and he applies it my rule of high level (normally with two your I get a rule of the child based on the accessor). When I run the page it seems to work a certain number of records but I get duplicate at the end lines and page crashes.
I'm sure it's something simple, I am on here. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank youHello
OTN has got a new infrastructure and ADF Code corner had to be rebuild. I'm working on this week (looks good so far). The URL will change to

How can I get number of rows in DB for view with "only up to line number.
Hi all
I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0
in the development of the object view, only until the line number is set to 100, but it has 1000 row in DB.
now page jspx, I need to get the number of rows in db (1000), how can I get it?
If I get iterator or view are of the object status is not true, it returns the value 100.
How can I get 1000?Given that you have set the limit line number for the VO, VO will always and forever don't have 100 records or less. If you want the total number in the comic book, you need to create an another VO that is not the count (*) or one that does not limit the number of rows.

How to insert rows in Board signout to recurring weekly entires
I need help for create a simple procedure for lines inserted in the Council Signout database for entries "recurring weekly.
The schema is SIGNOUT in the DEV10G database.
There are three main tables: UKIMR, the REASONand SIGNOUT
My first thought is that the procedure takes as arguments:
-name, surname
-first name
-start date
-number of weeks
-the type of entry (for example, "telecommuting")
-Comment
Note: I use the name as args because that's how columns are configured in the UKIMR table.
So all it would do is create entries on the same day-of-the-week as the * 'start date' * for as many weeks as you indicate in the * 'number of weeks' * argument.
So this would be an example of calling script:_
* exec STP_InsertWeekly ("Lastname", "firstname", October 3, 2008 ', 5, 'Teleworking', null);
Which would insert 5 rows SIGNOUT for 5 Friday October.

I want to see my procedure to insert rows in the table SIGNOUT. When I run that it is has the below error. The purpose of this procedure is for the employee to enter their name, the date they want to be turned off or work from home, or anything else, until they start, number of weeks (which will determine the number of rows will be inserted each week is a line), and comments that's what they do.Interaction with the customer as request for input values, is done in a client tool such as SQL * Plus or web applications. Not in PL/SQL. This just PL/SQL procedure accepts input parameters and can be called from a client application.
The no data found error is due to a select... IN the statement, which fails to extract a single line. You must decide what you want your procedure to be done in this case. Ignore, not, one other message ease of use or...?
And please paste formatted code using code tags. You have been told several times now, please the Act itself.

I get a pop up box with the message: Application JavaScript error: "setTimeout" called on an object that does not implement the interface Window for Firefox.
But it seems to appear when I go to Amazon.com. Then he opens with this message and the OK option? But as fast as I can click OK, another box appears. After all a half dozen, she disappears - until what I move to another part of Amazon! I uninstalled - reinstalled and then - Firefox and BA. I do not understand this!
(And of course, there is always the possibility that it is not only attacking me on Amazon... There may be a lot of other sites that also trigger, and I just haven't been there yet.)
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
- In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
