Error installing Windows 7 0x8030002F

One of my friends wants to install windows 7 inside windows. When he inserts the disc and double-click the implementation of files, then the following error message is displayed.

(Windows could not create an installation folder. Please configure your boot.wim file to use the image of 9 settings.for the first flag and restart the installation. Error:0x8030002F)

So, how can I fix this error. A big thank you to all.

Try this solution: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/thread/7796f693-427d-4b10-ad37-01ac58c46ee4. If it does not, repost with an accurate description that you are trying to do (what type of installation? Upgrade? Clean install? From what to what? Which media?). Give enough info, or do not complain so specific responses or (even more imprecise) "disappointments."

You are a great example of why you should not spend

You have backups of your personal files no.

You have No image of your complete installation system

Why would you risk of these things just to win-10 update

    Luckily, you have the error

I perhaps misjudged M$ error reporting that it works very well :)

    Get your priorities straightened

1 should be to buy an another 1 TB Western digital hard drive black (really need 2)

2nd would be to create a complete image of the system with Macrium free on it.

    http://www.Macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

3rd would be to copy and paste all your personal files to another partition on the new disk hard 1 TB.

After all this clean all your personal data on the existing hard drive

Then you can update if you wish, but you really need a bigger hard drive you have cultivated the existing one :)

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
    2. how you install Windows 7? Is using Windows 7 program stored on your computer?

Thank you for details on the issue.

This behavior can occur if the hard drive has a bad sector or the master boot record is damaged.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Use "Bootrec" tool to rebuild the master boot record (MBR) , then check the issue.
    Refer to this article:
Use Bootrec.exe in the WINRE to resolve startup problems
    http://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/927392

Note: You can use ' / FixMbrcommand"" ".»

If this does not help, use method 2.

    Method 2:
Run disk check and see if it helps.
    Refer to this article:
Check your hard drive to find errors in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/2641432

Check disk can identify and automatically fix file system errors and make sure that you can continue to load and write data from the hard drive.

Note: When running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    I hope this information helps.

Please let us know if you need more help.

  • Error installing windows 0xc000000e (phoenix securecore)

    Hello

my hard drive recently fell down, so I replaced it, and now I want to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium. I have a Toshiba laptop with a pre-installed OEM Windows too. I made a bootable USB key with Windows 7 HP using the download of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool found here: http://wudt.codeplex.com/

I think I did everything right, but when I start the machine I get this error message:

    File: \boot\BCD

    status: 0xc000000e

I tried to start another computer and that works very well, no problem! So, I think it has something to do with my BIOS (phoenix securecore). I found sites telling me I should disable secure boot, but my BIOS doesn't have this feature.

I hope that someone knows a solution for this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

  • Replacing hard drive, made restoration of the factory, get the message error "installing windows could not configure windows to run on a hardware on this computer."

    OS = Windows 7

    I backed up my data.

I replaced 1 TB Seagate original with a new 2 hard drive to Seagate Barracuda SATA STBD2000101. Computer is equipped also is from the factory... no additional or modified facilities.

I tried to restore Windows 7 from the rescue of the disks created with the "Gateway Recovery Management"

Windows copying files over, the machine restarts, it installs the devices, then it stops at the "installation program starts services" and a window opens with the message "windows Setup could not configure windows to run on a hardware on this computer.

I can't apply the Article ID: 2466753 because the process of restoration of the plant seems not provide an option to load a driver .

Any help would be appreciated... Gateway is only interested to collect money.  They have no interest in serving the poor suckers who buy their products (computer is 2 years old so it is out of warranty).

    Thanks for the reply.

Fortunately, I solved the problem myself (after 19 hours of stress).
The problem is that the recent hard disk has something different that no longer ages and makes pre-service pack 1 (SP1 solves the problem) versions of Windows 7 incompatible. My set of recovery disks have been created the day I bought the computer, which had no windows updates installed at the time.

There is an "easy solution" on the Microsoft support site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2466753/en-us

Unfortunately, their method works only if you have a Windows 7 installation disc, which does most of the people who buy computers pre-built manufacturers. Essentially, the solution is to install SP1 from a disc when don't give you the possibility to load drivers during installation, an option that the gateway recovery disks.

So I thought that, theoretically, if I use my recovery discs to get a clean install on a hard drive that works, then use windows update to get updated (or at least to get SP1), and then make a set of NEW recovery disks (using windows backup: start > all programs > maintenance > Backup and Restore), I should be able to use these discs to install the new hard disk.

    It worked.

So for someone else who has this same problem with new hard disks, I hope that the above is easy to understand. If not, ask someone else more savvy and show them this thread. Do not forget that at the end to create new recovery disks, it will ask you if you also want to create a 'system' repair disc. DO THIS! This is the disk that you need to start from when you are ready to install.

Also: If your new hard drive is bigger than the one that you have created the new recovery disks, the partition on your new hard drive (once everything is installed) will be the same size as the one that you have created the records on. You will need to use a kind of editor of score for re - size. I recommend Gnome Partition Editor. http://www.gparted.org

Burn gparted Live CD and him, resize your partition, and you're done (google for more in-depth instructions).

Thank you, theloungelizardK, for the offer on the ISO, but I don't need. :)
