Windows installation encountered an unexpected error installing windows, restart the installation

That's what happened with me when I try to install window7 on my PC that already had windows8.

I also created a new partition for this problem but cannot install window7 perfectly.

And there is a big problem with my PC, it is unable to boot from USB and DVD

I don't really know what to do with my PC everyone please help me solve this problem

2. how you install Windows 7? Is using Windows 7 program stored on your computer?

This behavior can occur if the hard drive has a bad sector or the master boot record is damaged.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Use "Bootrec" tool to rebuild the master boot record (MBR) , then check the issue.

If this does not help, use method 2.

Method 2:
Run disk check and see if it helps.

Check disk can identify and automatically fix file system errors and make sure that you can continue to load and write data from the hard drive.

Note: When running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    If you have problems with the gateway recovery process, you will need to contact Gateway

    It's their recovery process not microsofts

    You may have a hardware problem

    I recently download windows 8 ASSESSMENT and not this message keeps popping up whenever I turn on my pc.

    I click OK and then it restarted my PC and came with The Windows 8 boot-up the top screen and then the same message keeps popping up.

    Boot from the Windows 8 DVD or USB media that you created
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
    When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 8 click Next.

    You will receive the following warning:

    The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

    (At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

    The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

    Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

    You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    I have this error message and called technical support from microsoft, we have tried to reinstall Vista again once I had tried three times with the same error message.     So was the question then? You can run the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to see if there are compatibility issues that you have with hardware or software that would prevent an upgrade to Windows Vista.

    I have an Asus f3sv with vista home premium (32 bit).  I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit)

    During "the installation program copies files", I get

    "Windows installation encountered an unexpected error. to install restart, the Setup error code 0x0 ".

    I went through and removed all the programs windows Upgrade Advisor said that I had to delete.  disabled the antivirus and have rebooted several times

    When I tried in safe mode it says I could not install in safe mode

    When I booted from the disc in copied files, and then when I said I wanted to update to the appropriate Vista installation.

    I decided to copy the filed on the hard drive and it's vista blue screen

    I copied the files on the hard drive (in safe mode) and tried to start the installation of the copy.  I get the following error

    Windows could not create a Setup folder 0x8007000D error code

    I can find nothing in the forums with the same problem.

    Check your hard drive for errors:
    Click Start
    Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
    At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r
    When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    Could you try to reinstall Vista and proceed with a flat installation?

    To proceed with the installation plate, follow these steps:

    1. Insert the Windows 7 installation disc.

    2. start Windows Explorer.

    3. in Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows 7 installation disc.

    4. in theEdit menu, click select all .

    5. on the Edit menu, clickcopy .

    7. on thefile menu, point to new , click folder , typeWindows 7 Setup and then press ENTER.

    8. double-click onthe Windows 7 Setup and then click Paste on the Edit menu.

    9. double-click onSetup.exe and follow the instructions that appear.
