I get this everytime I try to print from my design program (Splash): error in C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\LXCItime.dll missing entry: lack of entry: RunDLLEntry It just started and I have not installed anything new.
Hello Lscherr,
Thank you for your message. To clarify, you are able to print out your design program? You can try to perform a clean boot and printing of your design program. A clean boot will start your computer without any 3rd party applications, you can then start your design software and test the printing functionality. If you are able to print, the problem may be caused by another application of part 3. I just started getting this error. Don't know why all of a sudden he went...
Hi brozojl,
- Did you the latest changes on the computer?
- Exactly when you receive the error message?
- Do you have any printer connected to the computer?
The LXCEtime.dll is a file associated with the Lexmark printer.
If you still receive the error message, I would say that you uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the printer, check to see if it helps.
How to change or remove a program in Windows XP
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307895
If you have a Lexmark printer connected to the computer it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See section to learn more about how to clean boot.
